You know what, I don't know whether the ones we got were real or fakes. I am assuming they're real because they are individually bagged and have the stamp on the back. But I don't really know. I just trade them so it doesn't bother me if they're real or fake. But I usually order from disney.crazy.

Thank you! I'll check them out. I could tell ours were fake compared to the others on the stands because the coloured enamel wasn't shiny, they were all matte finish and didn't feel right. That and the pin backs were AWFUL, they just kept falling off. As soon as I bought my first real badge I realised how bad the fake backs were! I thought at first maybe they were just old. The badges themselves were really light, and even though they had "Cast" or series numbers, etc, on them, they just didn't feel like the proper badges.

How you officially spot a fake, I don't know! I guess there are loads of them out there!

I love CP breakfasts so much! We ate there in June, and it was so good! We were there early too, and it was hilarious to stand at the hub and watch the wave of people come down Main Street!

We have possible, far-from-confirmed plans to head back to Disney for a week in January, and I have already planned out that WPE is going to be our first Disney dining experience! Everything there looks/sounds sooo good.

I am so happy you got the dancing people pin!! It has got to be one of the top 5 Disney pins of all time. And I love the Dumbo pillow pets - I think they're my favorite of the styles I've seen so far. I wonder how long before Disney makes a Gertie pillow pet...

The shirts you made look great! And hahahahaha. Jess would have a snack credit pin.

I love being in the park when Main Street is that empty! And have you seen the recent pictures of Main Street now that all of the scrims are gone? It looks so fantastic. Now all we need is for Fantastyland to get finished so those cranes are finally gone for good from all of the castle shots!

Way to make me crave puffed french toast. Seriously, that stuff is the best! Actually CP's whole breakfast buffet is pretty awesome and got a huge thumbs up from us last October.

Seeing the scrims on Main Street and the huge box on the bakery made me feel bad for all the people who were there on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Us Disers will always have another trip planned, but for those whose trips are one and done, they're stuck with that huge box in their photos forever.

Can't wait to see which ride you guys picked for your first ride at MK! I'm guessing Dumbo.

Yikes, I am not too thrilled with that Avengers monorail blazing through my precious Magic Kingdom in all its product placement glory. I like super hero movies but it's weird to see Marvel stuff in Disney! I'm not very used to it yet.

That picture you said Kristen is proud of is awesome! That's an angle you don't see much of. Great job Kristen! (Although I know you won't see this for awhile due to you being in Disney ;D)

This report is awesome! I love that even though you're teenagers, you're both so enthusiastic about Disney. I'm a guy and I just turned 20, and most of my friends are indifferent about Disney (although we once had a lengthy debate over whether Ariel or Belle is a better Disney princess - I sided with Ariel), so it's cool to see that there are teens who love Disney as much as I do (or possibly more).

Beautiful pics of everyone and everything (from the food to the merchandise to the villa to the Magical Express bus)! We usually take a taxi instead of DME, and now I feel like I'm missing out on the experience. You both do a great job with storytelling, really capturing some of the most awesome (yet minuscule) details of the trip. It feels like I'm there (which is the best feeling ever).

I can't wait to read more!

Thanks, I just looked briefly at a couple auctions and the prices are amaaaazing, so that is wonderful. I hate to pay full price for pins that we are just going to trade. I admit it...since I am a frump, I also enjoy watching Stacey on the resort TV. When I went on Dumbo on my last trip (January of 2011), I actually told my Dumbo "Let's fly high, buddy!" I'm not sure if that was the correct quote, but you get the point.
