The food report that almost didn't happen but I figured better late than never (m)

We're doing a 10 day split stay at the Treehouses and Kidani. It's my parents first trip to WDW and we are kind of doing 1 night out 1 night in, but a little more "out" than "in". There will be lots of "food porn" because we are dining at places like Fulton's, Jiko, CA Grill, V&A's, and in between we'll be eating things like tacos, meatloaf, and I can't wait to grill chicken and vegetables outside our treehouse!

I hope to do a "live from WDW" post since we'll have a day off inbetween our days at the parks, but we'll see how it goes. According to my coundown widget I think it's 41 days now!

Please tell me you're planning on doing a TR or Dining Review?! Or maybe both?! Your trip details sounds like so much fun... and a bit different! them!

I'm new to the DISboards, how does this work can I do a whole thing all at once somewhere? Or do I need to post the dining stuff under dining reviews and the other things under DVC Mousellaneous or can I do it all "under one roof" and in which case where would be best to post it Dining or DVC because I would probably talk a little bit about our trip. Should I then post trip stuff under the SSR lovers and AKV lovers threads? Help?

Your reviews are great!!! Sitting here drooling, can't wait to eat at Tutto again.. next time try their calamari. I've had it all over and theirs is reaaaaaaaaaaaally good!!

I'm going to definitely mention the sausage pasta to my DH. I'm not a huge fan of sausage, especially Italian sausage, but he loves that kinda stuff. You're like the tenth recommendation of that dish I've read on the Dis this week!

And WPE and a Gold Rush on your last night! That's exactly where we ate and pretty close to what we ordered on our last night, last trip! Great taste you've got there !

We have a Roy's here in Austin. I'm gonna have to make an effort to make it there soon. Their food looks FAB u Lous! Course, I know it won't be as good as going in Hawaii.... but better than nothing!


So sorry for your loss... sudden losses always seem harder! My deepest condolances for you and your family!

Some people do BOTH a dining report here and a Trip report under the Trip Report board. The trip report board as far as I know, and I'm no Veteran... yet! can have all types of trip reports. That's why a lot of people post links to their trip reports under their signatures so that if they frequent other boards, such as the DVC board or SSR and AKV lovers threads, then people can follow their TR from those boards as well. The only distinction in reports I've noticed is Disney Cruises have a different TR board.

A lot of people even put some of their food porn and food reviews within their TR... though I don't know if that's common or not. I know I did a few reviews of some meals we had last trip, in my TR, but because I didn't take pics of everything, I didn't feel I had enough info to do a full on Dining Review. Didn't stop me from going on and on about Jiko in my TR, though!!

And vice versa, some people put a little TR information into their Dining report... To each their own I say! Whatever makes it easier on you!
