*ThE FiVe LeGgEd GoAt VaCaTiOn GIRLS ONLY TRIP! *8/27*THE END*

I thought I had commented, but obviously not! You guys really covered a lot of ground on your first AK day! Now I don't feel quite as bad for the Piper hi-jacking the next time! :lmao: I can't wait to see your piccies, and for you to see ours! :goodvibes:

Sounds like a great start!
I loved just strolling through Asia and Yak/Yeti Counter Service was yummy!
I also can't wait to try the table service version next time.

One problem - how can you pass up another ride on Dinosaur with no wait!!! :goodvibes

Great pics you two! It looks like a very visually stimulating park.

I hope Grandma gets the hang of the ECV soon. :)

I really loved this update and all the pictures; so pretty! You got a lot done for 1/2 day!

As we ate we reflected on all we had seen and discussed what we wanted to do next. We still had about 45 minutes til the park closed so we decided to head over to.........I guess this is a good place to stop. Until next time...

I'm guessing you headed to EE?

Sounds like a nice time at AK so far- and some nice pictures too!

Goofy looks great in his Dinoland outfit. Perhaps I'll have to make finding him a priority for next time we're at AK (along with the rest of Dinoland since we didn't really spend any time there besides waiting out the rain in the gift shop last year).

Sorry to hear about the flash photo guy on DINOSAUR. I know that's never fun to have someone doing that throughout a dark ride. :sad2:

Thanks!
Dinoland is not that "Disney" like but taken as it's own it is bright and colorful and has a fun theming.

Piper did not hijack us. We went willing :rotfl: We really did see everything there our first day except Camp Minnie Mickey and FOTLK which we knew we were seeing with you :goodvibes

We have a lot more pictures of Asia coming up in the next post!

I normally would not pass up an offer to walk on a ride but the blinding flash actually gave me a headache and it was all we could do to get grandma on it once. There's no way she would have ridden again :rotfl2:

AK is beautiful if you take time to go slow and appreciate all the theming. Most visitors (us included up until the last couple visits) rush to the rides and don't take time to notice the details.

As for grandma and the ecv......hmmm not so much :lmao:

Thank you Denise! Glad you enjoyed it! We do make it over to EE but that isn't our next stop

Now I'm all caught up... :)

Looks we have more in common than being there at the same time and doing the 5K. We had some ECV adventures too. My DDad (aka Abuelito) crashed (ummm, I mean drove) the ECV into just about everything - fortunately not everyone!?!?

Great pics of AK!

Nice AK update :thumbsup2

The pictures are all so beautiful !

Glad to hear that a lot of the rides & attractions were walk on , makes covering everything u want to see a lot easier .

What a rude jude that guy w/ the camera was ! Glad u reported his rudeness even if nothing was said to him . Shame on the CM for not at least reminding him that flash photography is not aloud !

Those egg rolls from the Yak & Yeti CS look soo yummy , in fact I have some egg rolls here that I might make for lunch , your report has inspired me not only to do that but I put Yak & Yeti on our CS suggestion list !

Can't wait to read more popcorn::popcorn::

Thank you!
The park seemed really congested but we walked on most everything which was great!

I was kind of suprised at the CM's attitude since they say "no flash photography" on most all the rides :confused3 Normally I wouldn't care but it really bothered my eyes :headache:

We were really glad we stopped there for our snack. The kids meal was just right for a snack and seemed like a bargain! Hope your lunch was good

That was well worth the wait!! Great update!! I love the pictures, I love the one of grandma in the glasses!!

I missed the flowers too, it definitely looked different!! I love the pins....I can't figure out which one is my favorite!!

Can't wait for the next update!!

I find that one funny since there are only a handful of pictures of her being goofy :)

I feel the same way about the pins

I ended up trading all of my trader ones and buying a few ;) The whole pin thing can get very addicting

I just submitted our order for our Photpass cd :cool1: I'm hoping it comes relatively quick so we can share the photos in the spots they belong. :) For anyone thinking of pre-ordering we did see a lot of pp guys out this trip. At Epcot they were in many of the countries, doing scenery shots, which was nice :)

Hi guys! I'm enjoying your trip report so much. All of our Disney trips are mother/daughter! Thanks for sharing! popcorn::

They are the best! We've been to WDW twice, Disney cruised once and are hoping to visit DLR next year for Spring Break!

WOOT! WOOT! for Photopass!

I think it's a great service, especially if it can be shared for cost reasons. The borders are cute (though I liked holiday ones better) and the magic shots are just wonderful.

Loking fwd to more TR, ladies!

Go Michigan!!! :goodvibes

But which color are we going....now that is the question!! lol I am a student at U of M, so I guess we know which color I'll be choosing. (but green is nice too!! ;)
