*ThE FiVe LeGgEd GoAt VaCaTiOn GIRLS ONLY TRIP! *8/27*THE END*

I am, too! I am slowly erasing all the white walls in my house and filling them up with bold colors! My extended family thinks I'm crazy, but I love how homey it feels! :thumbsup2
Great update! I loved hearing about your meet with Piper and Amanda! :goodvibes

I bet your house will look amazing! My bedroom walls are all lavender except for one tan wall and on the walls I have tons of colorful pictures! I am a huge fan of color! It was so nice to meet them!

Queen, you said exactly what I was thinking! Dawn, you should be so proud of what an amazing daughter you have raised! She is beautiful, inside and out!

Thank you :flower3::hug:

Teppan Edo sounds so good! We have a Kobe here that is just like that, and we love it! Mmmm....

It was good! We have a place called Ichiban that is the only one that comes close to how good Teppan Edo is!

Pizzafari is pretty much just ordinary pizza, but it's a neat place, and it gives you a chance to get in out of the heat for a while.

Love the Lion King pictures with Piper in the parade. :)

Awesome we might have to have a dismeet!

Hi Everybody! Hope you all had a good weekend! Time for another update :) We need to get this TR finished because our next trip is now only 20 days away! :yay:

When Caitlin left off we had just finished our late lunch at Teppan Edo. We did not have dessert after our meal because well....let's just say the choices did not appeal at all to me or grandma. I mean come on....ginger cake or
green tea pudding :confused3 I am a picky eater and neither of those sound the least bit tempting!

So we left Teppan Edo and Caitlin wanted to do the Kim Possible Missions. We had tried these out in 2009 and had a lot of fun so we were eager to do it again. I really thought grandma would sit this out but she ended up having a blast! After the rough start to our day this was just what we needed. Bonding and laughing and acting silly! We got our Kimmunicator and began in Norway.

momsdispics404-1.jpg

After our first mission I had the brilliant idea  that we could reward ourselves after each mission with a treat from that country's bakery. (we'd buy 1 and split it 3 ways) We headed into Kringla Bakeri og Cafe and got what every good Disser would get....the famous Schoolbread. This was our first time trying it (I know shocking right?) and we each enjoyed our 1/3. This was actually the perfect serving size as I think the bread is really rich and can't imagine eating a whole one! After our Norweigian snack, we happened upon a Photopass Photographer who was more then happy to snap a pic :)

Here is Caitlin in her most Viking-like pose

After saving Norway, we headed to Mexico where we once again played heroes alongside Kim and Ron. Our reward for our hardwork?

This yummy snack

That churro was probably my favorite of the snacks! It was nice and warm and covered in cinnamon :)

As we continued on around World Showcase, saving the world from evil-doers, our next mission took us to the UK. This seemingly ordinary phone booth played a pivotal role in our mission

momsdispics406.jpg

When we went to get our reward we were rather disappointed. Apparently the UK is not known for it's desserts :confused3 The only thing at the cs stand was shortbread cookies. The little packet only had 2 cookies so I passed and Caitlin and grandma each had one.

The Kimmunicator then told us we were needed in France. As we passed over the bridge we came across another PP who Caitlin was more then happy to model for...

After saving France we treated ourselves to this delicious treat

The pastry had an apple filling, that was really messy when being cut into thirds, that was wonderful!

On our way out of France we stopped at the fountain for more pictures

The next mission we encountered was in Germany. Here are some secret pictures of our mission...

And our snack? A warm, salty pretzel. And no we don't have a pic but I'm pretty sure you've seen one before

Our final mission was in China. On our way we passed ANOTHER photopass photographer. (they were out in force that day!)
Image0191.jpg

When we got to China we were wore out! You have no idea how exhausting it is saving the world!

This glowing ball was integral to our mission!

momsdispics419-1.jpg

By the time we finished it was getting dark but we enjoyed seeing China all lit up! Just lovely!

momsdispics420.jpg

As you've probably guessed we did not have a snack after that mission. We were all pretty full and nothing there sounded worthy of over stuffing ourselves.

We decided to call it an early night, and again skip Illuminations, and head back to Pop.

On our way out we got a picture of the Mexico pavillion which also looks beautiful at night!
momsdispics421.jpg

When we got back to Pop it was around 8 and grandma went straight to bed. Caitlin and I seized the opportunity to take another joy ride on the ECV. We loved it as much the second time as the first. We zoomed all over the Pop and went up to the bridge to nowhere and looked around. We got back to the room about 9, watched some tv and went to sleep.

We needed our beauty rest as we had a date in the morning with a certain silly ol' bear :)

Great update Dawn!

Love your idea of enjoying a treat in every country....I would be all over that:goodvibes

Great photopass pictures....how nice that so many were out that day:thumbsup2

Thank you!

We really enjoyed our Epcot visits in March! Shopping and snacking around the world were a lot of fun! :)

It was a Sunday so I'm not sure if maybe they have more PP on the weekends? :confused3 But we sure saw a lot of photographers!

You forgot the most important ingredient: SUGAR! I love churros. Can't remember when I had one, but they are delish if they are fresh and warm!

Can't believe you guys took another joy ride on the ECV. Must have been the sugar high!:rotfl2:

I know you are almost done with your report but I just found it today and started reading...took my almost all day but I am done! Wow, what a great trip! It looks like you had an absolute blast. When my girls get older I hope I have as good of a relationship as you ladies do.

Can't wait to read the rest!

How could I leave out the sugar?!

We looked totally ridiculous on that ECV and made a lot of people laugh at the sight of us but we had so much fun! :)

Hi! :wave2: Thanks for reading!
We did have a great time!
I feel very blessed that Caitlin and I have such a close relationship so thank you! I hope you are blessed with the same :goodvibes

Sampling a dessert after each Kim Possible Mission sounds like a great idea to me. :thumbsup2 You really managed to fit in a bunch of missions too. No wonder you were stuffed by China!

We can never just do 1. We're so competitive we end up doing them all

So many missions - so few treats!!!!!! I want to do that, but I think I will substitute the treats with alcoholic drinks from each country! :rotfl: I think I will use Cynthia's (eandesmom) drink map for guidance! Of course, after 6 missions I might not be standing too well! Thank goodness I won't have access to an ECV.

I loved that update. That was so fun! And I can just picture the two of you whizzing around Pop on grandma's ECV for round two. :rotfl:

We loved the Kim Possible missions.
And you did a ton in one day - nice job!
Which was your favorite?

We love the idea of the snacks after each one - we may have to steal that idea.
But you missed Japan and the infamous Kaki Gori!!

Last May Caitlin tried getting Dale to drink around the world. She kept telling him what he had to order in each country based on Dis reviews.(and this was after our dinner at Ohana where he tried the LapuLapu and Backscratcher) By the end of the evening he was feeling pretty good :rotfl2:

We found the ecv rides to be highly entertaining

Hi Stacey!
I think all the mission are a lot of fun. Caitlin and I both like the UK the best. (there's just something about that window effect) But I love that all of them take you further into the countries and you see things you might miss otherwise. I also love that it's made for kids but fun for all ages! :goodvibes

I guess we missed Japan because we had just eaten :confused3 Caitlin does love the KakiGori and I'm sure she'll be having one in a few weeks to make up for it :)
