the firstmickeys MAGICAL Western Cruise Aug 12-19: First Time Cruisers

Thank you Donna for such a wonderful report. The pictures were a nice touch. I'm also a first-time cruiser going in October and you have me going thru the "Magical Anticipation". Your family is beautiful and I'm so glad you had such a good time and that you shared it with all of us. I even took notes. Thanks again! :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Kaitlin with her "Mourning" Cake

Oh my gosh, my wife thinks this cake came from the heavens. On both of our cruises this cake has been offered only on the final night. She looks forward to it the entire week, she can hardly stand it! :rotfl2:

It is a HUGE deal to her on our cruises. It's all about the Celebration cake. The cake, cake, and nothing but the cake so help us all.

Thank you for the wonderful trip report and photos!!!!!

Do you remember where you found the coupons for Chankanaab park?

RV....tell her I said you should not spend your whole trip wishing for the "MOURNING" Cake! ;) :teeth: :rotfl: :rotfl:

pandamom: It' is on the main Chankanaab Park website at the scroll bar at the top.....go here . You have to put in date arriving, number of adults and kids then hit the send. :teeth:

Thank you! I looked ALL over the web site LOL but couldn't find the coupon link -- I have no idea how I missed it for so long!! :rotfl2: It's for $2 off now but still better than full price. :) Again thank you for your wonderful trip report -- it really was a pleasure to read/view!!

Please say it isn't so...its over?? :guilty: Donna, you have given us such a fantastic read every day, I appreciate it sooooooo much. It felt like I was there all over again, and we were just there in June. I felt every emotion, right there with ya. Thanks again for taking all this time, I loved it!!!!!!!!

At 3pm, we head to the Promenade Lounge for our DIS meet. We meet a bunch of wonderful DISers who we see all over the ship and at excursions the rest of the cruise! It was so nice to feel like you had friends right away to make you feel at home! Thanks again to Magic In My Heart/Beckie for organizing everything. The wonderful gift bags she made for everyone, the lime green bracelets that we wore so we could recognize each other at first, and just making us all feel special.

I think that was just a flash reflection from taking a picture of a picture so she could post it......

Donna

I hated reading your report....I MISS YOU and still want to be on the ship enjoying everything...instead of reading what a GREAT time we HAD. :rotfl2:

Seriously I loved reading all your High Sea Adventures I just wished I had known you were on deck 9 early every morning as I would venture out solo get my early morning beverage coffee or hot tea on deck 9 then walk forward to my special area.

It was wonderful meeting you and your family, maybe one day we can all cruise together again.

Please let me know when you plan your next trip back to Florida maybe I can drive over to say hi,

Donna, Just found your report today. Enjoyed it and had to mention that I am also a Donna married to a Dan (also a computer tech guy) I turned 38 earlier this month, and he turned 44. We have two kids, dd 13 and dd 9. Kinda strange.
Enjoyed reading about a western from someone that we have so much in common with. We will be on ours NJ week 2006. (nov 4).
Thanks for all your work,
Donna in NJ
