The first pictures from my entry into the National Gingerbread Competition.

Here they are...the first 3 pictures from my entry.

The piece is entitled "Santa's Helpers???" and features a Christmas Tree surrounded by toys. There will also be elves...some of whom are working hard and some of whom are not. There will be elves straightening bows, shining toys, etc...and other elves climbing the tree, sleeping and smooching behind the dollhouse.

The pictures are: The Tree....18" tall and almost finished. It still needs a coating of more green color to give it some depth and decorations. The Rocking Chair....made from photos of the Rocking Chairs found at the Grove Park Inn. The Rocking Horse...made from the actual plans used by my Dad to make his wooden ones.
