There is some doubt to the lauch because of an issue on Discovery that all shuttles are now being checked for. In addition, an Isreali contigency was in a Cocoa Beach hotel last night and cars were being checked in that area. While I am excited for this astronaut and think it is wonderful, it is causing a lot of tension here and lots of extra work for law enforcement. This weekend I watched numerous fighter jets on patrol (I live in the flight pattern of Patrick Air Force Base), the most I have seen post 9/11. This is only what they are reporting, but there is even more going on. And I am a little scared.
