You know what I cant remember either, however me thinks it was definatly high heeled sling backs. Something else I just remembered as well, was buying clothes from Pippa Dee, in fact I once own a beautiful striped purple nightdress, buttons right up to the neck with frills, that I very proudly wore to the Saturday Morning Disco at the Top Rank as a long dress, I bet I looked a treat
Now this is getting really spooky. I wore a Pippa Dee brushed bri-nylon, red catsuit (which was also really sleepwear) to the disco on the school cruise I went on when I was 10.
Ah yes, Chelsea Girl (forerunner of River Island). My most memorable number from CG was a red boiler suit complete with motor oil company logos. Together with my Farrah Fawcett flicked hairdo and my laced wedges (I was the first person in my school to own a pair of wedges thanks to my Gran who was well and truly nagged into submission), I thought I was the bee's knees.
I'm not sure if I was the only one with this 'look' but I distinctly remember wearing doc marten shoes. long black wool socks that came up over the knees, a black mini skirt and a black suit jacket - I was soooo cool

When I was about 8, and wasn't allowed to choose my clothes
I bought junior a nice tank top/t-shirt set just a few weeks back, and never thought anything of it. Never even crossed my mind that I had worn that hideous thing all those years ago.
