I'm glad everyone seems to be in agreeance on leaving the first group as it is, but that doesn't mean members from the first group couldn't participate in both groups to bulk up the second one.

If any one wants from the first group wants to be in both groups, post here and I will add you to both on the front page. Also let Katz know so she can update her information

I also vote that we keep the FE the way that it is since so many people have it planned that way. I have only just begun my FE gifts (queen of procrastination here) I may still join the second FE group to add more gifts & people to the group. When is the second FE group going to be closed so that I can decide weather or not to join? (Again... Queen of procrastination here). What can I say... I work better under pressure. I've got to see how my gift is going to work out & I think I may be able to do this in bulk. Not sure yet.

As the decision has been made, I won't cast a vote- though I will say that 3 rooms in group 2 are me and my family... so that's kind of a bummer. I hope others join, be they new or carry-overs from FE1.

oh, I can see where you are coming from & that it may be kind of disappointing. I think that I am going to plan to join the second group, but I can't quite commit at this point. It will depend on how many people end up being in the second group as I may not be able to plan for an additional 20 rooms, but I am really leaning toward joining the second group as well. Hope that helps & I really want everyone to have a magical vacation.

I'm starting to get really excited about the cruise! I just booked my girls appointments for the BBB on Halloween! Now, I have to decide what DH and I are dressing up as. Has anyone decided on costumes yet?

AWESOME! I love Halloween as well! DH and I usually do coordinating costumes (last year we were Batman and Robin.) I'm looking for something coordinating with a Disney flair...

Just checking, have we made a final decision on the FE groups? I noticed today that the 2nd group now only has 7 cabins. Has this been updated again the other day they had 8 cabins. I can not remember when we decided the final decision would be made for the 2nd group. Just asking because working on completing my gifts before the kids get back in school and things get really crazy around here.

I'm a little concerned about the FE status. Do you know if the list is up-to-date? I feel bad if group 2 is so small. I haven't seen KATZ on for awhile and hoping she is still there just not as chatty as the rest of us! LOL

I could have enough gifts if we wanted to combine groups one and two. Plus, when is the final date to add to the FE groups? I need to start bagging them together for distribution on the ship....

I am so sorry for not posting more, but I am keeping up on the fe. I have been so busy with work. (14 hour days) 2 cruises to plan and a cross country move to plan for right after the cruises. I have been reading the boards all the time.

We only have 7 on the second list. If by the end of the month, it is under 10 cabins, I am going to add them to the first list like it was decided by everyone in the beginning. The only other thing I can come up with is at the end of August, the cut off date, we can divide the 2 groups up evenly.

I think that is a perfect idea. I want to be the first to be added to the second group. I have already let myself know and updated the list. If anybody else would like to join me please just pm me and would be happy to add you as well.

I was adamant from the beginning that I didn't want to make/get beyond 20 cabins worth of FE gifts, mostly from the baggage allowance aspect....23kg does not go that far!

But group 2 is filling up so slowly, and I would feel exactly the same way as VAis4DISlovers if the shoe was on the other foot. I had planned (and mostly made or already purchased) multiple gifts for each cabin with extra gifts for adults if there were no kids in the cabin and seperate gifts for the children. Without giving too much away, the gifts are varied anyway to take into account age/gender for the kids and U.K/non U.K cruisers. I have come to the conclusion that I can easily share out the gifts I have without too much extra imput as long as anything else I add to the stash is fairly lightweight and doesn't take up too much room in the case. The FE exchange should above everything else, be fun for everyone involved, and I would be happier knowing I have helped bring a smile to a few more faces. So if group 2 stays at less than 10 cabins by our cutoff point I would be happy to include those cabins to my list of FE recipients

I don't think it should be a problem as long as the group doesn't get too large. If the group does get too large, then they won't miss me anyway.

Also, is there a way that we can mark the people in the second group that are also participating in the first group? Maybe something like this: (also in FE 1). That would really help me keep track so that I don't double up on FE gifts because I plan to give similar if not the same gifts to both groups. Does that sound good to everyone else?

sounds good to me! but wouldn't it just be those of us from group 1 who also contribute to group 2 that would just be added to their group?
of course there maybe some in group 2 who want it to be a small intimate group and don't want their group to get too large so perhaps we do need to know which cabins in group 2 would like to be part of a bigger group??
