The Family, Friends, Fun, Food, Five pounds (well 7 really) and....*UPDATED 12/31*

You take great pix. dig the Test Track action pix! They came great!

Beverly isn't the worst tasting drink out there..it's just so, so...unexpected.

I agree about Seasons....it's my favorite or one of my favorite CS restaurants...:thumbsup2

Allow me to translate: "Daddy-O, I'm thankful to have you as a wonderful husband. The kids are lucky to have such a great father and role model. But you're a hoser."

Ooooooohhhhhh, that makes sense now....he he you said hoser.

You read it here first. By 2035, all of Canada's natural vegetation will be wiped out.

:rolleyes1

I've been chomping at the bit to do this. The kids are a bit young yet, though. If you can share the thing online, post a link. I'd love to see it!

I will post it as soon as I check it out.:thumbsup2

WOOHOO!! I got a shout-out! Isn't it cool checking out some of the other stuff that often gets overlooked? Question is... did you get caught by loop and hook? :rotfl2:

Pretending to be sleeping!! :lmao::lmao: Oldest trick in the book!

Ummm... yeah... as far as that hole is concerned... I think Nate has something to do with that :rolleyes1 I think I heard him mumbling the other day... something about "... you just wait, Nick... good thing I work for Siemens... cause you need a raise like you need a hole in your head..."

I love seeing all the little things Disney has to offer, we didnt see that show but we did go on the hurricane simulator, that was kinda cool but I expected a little more. It was just okay.

That hole is starting to scare me a little:lmao:

Totally agree! The kids always like the boats and monorails more than the buses anyway.

You really have some great pictures! I'm looking forward to hearing about the Kim Possible missions...I have a feeling my kids (ok, and me) would love them!

Ya we love taking the boats, any chance we get we get on anything other than buses.

Thanks, I will talk about the missions soon......this is what we call the hook.:goodvibes

Siemens is using a facial recognition program to pick out faces...it looks for the eyes and work from there...I think it's your hat that caused the software trouble. You need to tip it back more or take it off for the picture....the next time you make it down there that is.

Great pic,

That hole still scares me......

Oh yeah! I love the "alternate" transportation options. Taking boats is one of my favorite things to do. Great job! :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

WOO HOO!!! I got a shout out here! Awesome, thanks Daddy-O!
We loved it, but if you haven't finished reading through it, I detail it quite a bit in my own T...oh wait, never mind, there's really nothing to see, and I really didn't say anything. But yeah, those treehouse villas are incredibly sweet. I highly recommend them as an option sometime when you are going with family or friends (up to 9 people total).

I read it all, when I got back, the pictures were great, maybe we will stay in one some day. They look like a lot of fun.
What Dad wouldn't take on that kind of challenge? I mean really. That's pretty awesome.

Just tell Mommy-O that you're just training them for when they are dads too :lmao:

Did somebody say challenge....:cool2:
Oh wow, it looks quite similar to the two that just happened to, somehow, end up in Indiana with our luggage. I don't know - I think there's some kind of a pinecone invasion heading northward from Florida.
:rolleyes1

We definitely want to experience that on our next visit. Being there with the grands in Jan was more focused on them, so we kind of didn't get to do as much as we might have enjoyed while at Epcot - especially Soarin'...but I won't dredge that up again now.

It was awesome, make it the biggest, with the most loops, it makes it more fun. Make sure you take all the change out of you pockets....:lmao:

Julie and I got a communicator "for" our boys in January, but see the statement above...it applies here too. So it didn't work out. Maybe next time.

Take your time with this, it takes you to little places you ma not normally go...it was well worth it.
nice pics, whats up with that hole in your head?:lmao:

It still scares me....sshhh...I think nate has something to do with it.;)

Great update! :thumbsup2

I think, instead of writing my own trip report, I'm going to just plagiarize all these great experiences of everyone else. :lmao: We're staying at POR, and plan to take the boats to DDT at least once. So, I can just borrow this section of your TR right? I'll just have to substitute my own pictures. My wife tends to roll her eyes, so I may have to merge yours and Barry's TRs though.

Seriously, I'm reading all you've done saying to myself... we're going to do that, we're going to do that, we're going to do that.....

I can't wait to try SOAT. My girls are REALLY excited about the Kim Possible Experience in Epcot... and my wife too! :cool2:

Thats great, I hope I continue to inspire great Disney vacations...oh ya BTW it's copy then paste...help yourself.:3dglasses

Sooo, you tried to sneak the pine cone into Canada, eh?:rotfl2:

So did Stopher.......:lmao:

Thanks:goodvibes
I agree it wasn't that bad...but Seasons was fantastic. yum. That could turn into a must do in Epcot...:thumbsup2

So we make our way over to Club Cool, I have been planning this trick for a long time, being the one on the boards and seeing a thread with just pictures of people trying this nasty little beverage, it was time. Muh ha ha ha ha
I'm not a fan of Beverly, but every time I'm there, I have to have a cup, just to remember what its like. :confused3

Love the Beverly shots!

Next up was Test track, all of us really love this ride. The posted wait said 40 minutes, we thought, lets just get in line maybe it will be a little quicker....well.......wrong.....it was a lot quicker, we walked right up to the doors for the pre-show. BONUS
Score!

Wow! That's like, what 97 Canadian? :rotfl2:

I love Sunshine Seasons! Your pics are making me hungry.

What kind of bag do you have slung over your shoulder?

So did Stopher.......:lmao:

WELL, now really, I didn't take mine out of the country... just out of the south. ;)

Nice update. Love the Beverly shots of the boys. :thumbsup2

More great pics, especially on Test Track. Don'tcha just love those instances where the posted wait time is just wrong - in your favor. Sweet!

Nice Beverly shots. I'm impressed you could hold the camera still enough to focus on the speed display!

Great update! :thumbsup2

Love the Beverly trick. I plan to try that on my girls. But, you probably already knew that. Did you hack into my trip planning spreadsheet?

Nice score on TT! Last time we rode TT the posted wait time was about 1/2 the time that we actually waited. :confused3

Can't wait to see what else you ripped off from my trip planning. :rolleyes1

Next up....Trennr's fave ride....?

I got a Shout out. :cool1:

I just can't IMAGINE what ride he's talking about. :confused3

:figment:

With just one click
Of my Revolver
It becomes
A Problem solver.

Take aim
Right at Figments head
Pull the trigger
and now he's dead

I got a Shout out. :cool1:

HAHAHAHA! GREAT... now I have THAT song in my head. Here's payback...

Just look at Nathan
He's over there
Wearing nothing
But underwear

His buddy Chuck
Has been missing for a while
We hope we don't find his carcass
with a big ol' smile....

What kind of bag do you have slung over your shoulder?

It is called a Lowepro Singshot, probably one of the best bags I have ever owned. It almost feels like your not caring one at all. I put my camera and my lenses and other stuff in it. I carried it all over. I also rigged my tripod to fit on it as well. I would recommend it to anyone!:thumbsup2

Lucky shot, I looked through my pictures afterward and thought SWEET!!

So is Figment in your plans anywhere? :lmao:

So next up was a trip to see an old friend, I'm sure some of my fellow Disdads are ready to scream but we went to see Figment....yay:lmao:

By this point the sun had gone down and it was getting late, we decided that we were going to walk around a little and give Daddy-O a chance to take some pictures. They were pretty patient and it really gave me the opportunity to try a couple of things with my camera.

We also had the opportunity to watch these guys this night. We all thought they were a lot of fun, they were called the British Invasion.

We never planned on watching the fireworks this night but we stood in front of the fountains and watched. Surprisingly enough this was a very cool spot to watch the fireworks. It was great to be able to set up my tripod and try to take pics of the fireworks, here are some of my favorites.

I thought the one with the Monorail was a pretty lucky shot but still very cool.:thumbsup2
