Sorry guys it has been pretty crazy around my house the last couple of weeks. The bad part about quitting my job is I wont have near as much Dis time as I used too, but I promise to finish this TR. That is what a good Dis Dad does.

So where did we leave off....

Oh ya, I remember....

So we decided it was time to hit some more rides, next up was Big Thunder Mountain, this was Matthew's favorite ride before Space Mountain.

This one is a little blurry, but is the best I could do, while on a rollercoaster. lol

one of the big negatives of going to Disney in Jan is that is when they decide to some of the refurbs, we try and see what is going to down on the dates we travel and tell the kids before we get there to avoid any of the let down when one of the favorites is not running. Still stinks when you see a sign like this.

So... I decided is was time to drown my sorrows...No not beer...I'll give you a hint

I can taste them now.....

Now, I have to be honest both were not mine, but lets just say I stalked Carrie to see if she needed any help with hers.

We walked around a little and happen to come across the stage show where Captain Jack Sparrow was about to grace us with his presence so we stopped to watch.

Matthew was chosen to get on stage, he loved it.

Look its the governors daughter...

Turn and flee....

This is what the Captain taught our young lad. Then more kids were chosen to come up and Jonathan was also chosen. They both recieved a certificate and got to sing with Captain Jack.

At this point we decided to leave the Magic Kingdom go back to the room and relax a little before dinner.

On the way out the parade had started...

We had an ADR for Kouzzina, I have heard some horror stories about this restaurant and for anyone who listens to the Podcast on this site must have heard Kevin and Johns review, not so good. But, I have a Greek background and have been waiting for some good Greek food to come to Disney, so I had high hopes for this restaurant. We decided to take the bus to Epcot and walk to the Boardwalk area, we got to the park and walked past Spaceship Earth and thought.. why not.. we have some time and the kids get a kick out of the video at the end.

Oh ya before I forget to mention

BIG NEWS........

We decided that because we were not on the dining plan this year and we were going to dinner with a larger group tonight and we are planning to come back in 2011 and for a possible anniversary, no kids trip this year, we bought Annual passes.

YAAAAAAA...I am officially an Annual pass holder at Disneyworld, with that we also bought the Tables in Wonderland card. This card gives you 20% off at amost dining locations in DisneyWorld including alcohol if that is something any of you fellas partake in when in the world.

Not me......

This week they were also giving a special discount for Annual Pass Holders 20% off at most shops as well. Normally it is 10% off.

Back to your regularly sheduled TR

I tried to get a couple of shots on this ride as well, not bad but not terribly successful, this is the best of what I was able to capture.

and of course my future pic....apparently I will have a two huge holes in my head in the future.

We walked through the park and headed towards the Boardwalk area, I was making the kids and Carrie nuts with the tripod and pics so I snuck a few in when I got the chance. Here is a couple of the Boardwalk before I was threatened with bodily harm if I didn't put the tripod away. She didn't say put the camera away though.

We were meeting my cousin and his wife and funny enough my cousins wifes brother and his wife decided to drop in for the weekend (sounds like a comedy bit..I know..but it is true) So we had an ADR for 9 people. They sat us fairly quickly, about 10 minutes, so we sat by the water and chatted for a bit. We were buzzed in and were seated.

Now I don't know if it was because I was giddy becuase we were now AP holders or the excitement of being at a Greek restaurant in Disney but Daddy-O decided to let loose a little tonight.

We ordered some apps and got a drink as well, Carrie got this little beauty called an "Ouzotini"
Not sure if any of you have tried Ouzo before but it tastes like black licorice. This drink was very good, lets just say Carrie had to order another one, because somebody sampled it too many times. oops

I ordered a half bottle of wine...we will find out where the other half went later.

After a little while we ordered our meals, I ordered the lamb shank, it was absolutely amazing. Carrie ordered a steak which was cooked very well. The boys ordered Mac and cheese with a meat sauce, they really enjoyed it.

Let me just say the the quality of the photography at this dinner was lacking a little not sure why that was but things we getting a little blurry...

Hey....there is that other half of the bottle that was missing earlier..

At this point, I needed a little help ordering dessert...

Carrie ordered Baklava for herself and I ordered a Greek dessert called Galaktobouriko.

Both were awesome. By the end of the night I got out of our waitress that during training the were calling that dessert "The Booty Call" Our waitress was very good and the meal was fantastic. I have to say our best meal of the trip so far.

I stumbled....er...I mean....walked back to the bus stops and went back to the resort for a well needed rest.

Great night....
