Today, well now tonight is my 10 day dance!!

Everybody came out to celebrate. Donald is especially excited, I think.
Well, now it is really real and in a few days I get to go pull out the suitcases.

I have no idea. I have never been on the ride so I have no idea what the car even looks like.
I agree! He was a high-schooler. Mitch said that as soon as they got off the DHS manager was at the door waiting for him. Surprisingly she wasn't mad at all and was being nice to him.
Yes I did!! Tons of cute things I got of bought and spent hundreds on but fortunately for the wallet I was able to say no.

It's freezing here! Well for us floridians anyway. 50s now and it's supposed to get colder!!
Weather for arrival day at Disney is cloudy 80 degrees during the day, and 64 at night.
Well, Amy has strange homework I have to help her with. I don't know where teachers come up with these crazy homework assignments. It has nothing to do with what she is learning and it's mainly for the parents.
So, I have to go.
Emily went back to school today. She stopped coughing. Now she is saying her ear hurts. So, I'll probably take her to the doctor tomorrow, we'll see.
Saturday is Emily's birthday party and not 1 but 2 softball games. Sunday is Emily's birthday.

Mitch changed the hotel today with out telling me until it was done. He said that his back has been hurting him lately and he wanted a big room. So, today he took us out of the Dolphin and moved us to the double tree across the street from DTD. I don't mind that much because here we will have a 2 bedroom. We stayed here in 2004 and loved it. The hotel has so many activities for kids. I'm just not so sure about the busses. It has the busses like all the resorts I'm just not sure how many stops it makes. So. I'll have to see on that we might just drive to the parks. We'll have to get to the buses probably at 8:15. Or is that to late? What time should I set the alarm for? The parks are going to be open so late that I wasn't planning on using EMH. I don't need to stay at MK until 4 am! All we'll be doing is sleeping so I'm going to like the 2 bedroom with a kitchen.

Thanks Connie! Don't worry there will be plenty of pics. A few thanksgivings ago my mother stayed there too and we met at the parks for a few days. I called and the hotel said we are the last ones to be picked up and the first ones to be dropped off. We may not get a seat but at least we won't have to sit for 20 minutes while the other hotels get picked up!

Hi everyone! Emily had a great birthday. Yesterday she had her party. 6 girls came plus my 2. My mother and grandmother are snow birds and during the winter they are about 20 minutes from me so, they came over too for a while. Her friends know she is in love with Disney so she got some nice Disney presents. A minnie and mickey jacket, a mickey mug, and a throw. She also got gift cards and some twilight thing. Girls and Twilight these days.
Emily wants to go see "New Moon" on friday, the day it comes out but I told we're leaving early for Disney the next day so she can't. The Twilight cast was at a mail by here the other day and Amy told me a day too late. I told we might have gone if she told me. O.K rant over. Did anybody read the books? I thought it was just for kids but a lot of adults are reading it.
OT- As I was looking at smilies I realized their order changed and now there is this one is it new? Or am I just out of it?:

Today we went to the mall. At the Disney store the girls both got a few pins. Emily got a soarin' one, an Epcot one, and a fab 5 in front of the caste. Amy got the same except the Soarin' one. They were nice pins too. All 5 were 20$. I couldn't find anything for myself. After the mall we came home and I made steak for dinner. After that Emily opened her present. I got a new camera a few weeks ago. A few days later Emily's broke and she was really upset about it. So, I said we'll get her a camera if she pays half since she's going to Disney so now we have the same camera. It's a sony cybershot. I'm not sure what model. But it's a nice point-n-shot. Mine is silver and Emily's is hot pink.

It's late so Donald is the only one still up to celebrate.

I could fall asleep any minute and still somehow I find myself on the DIS!
We just got back from the girls' softball game. They won 14-6.
Tomorrow is the last regular season game before playoffs. They'll be missing the first game but they play until they lose 2 games.
Today I made 3 whole chickens. They were about to go bad and I couldn't refreeze them so now that is what we will be eating until we leave on Saturday.
Now there is a good chance me won't come back until the day after thanksgiving. More on that tomorrow.

3 days!!!
I haven't even started packing yet. Emily had to be at the Orthodontist bright and early today after that I picked up Amy and took them both to school, then Publix, Walmart, and Sam's club. I got most of the food for the trip. Of course being a floridian I barely own any long sleeve shirts so I stopped at the mall. Macy's was having a one day sale.

I got 3 shirts for the trip and for a really good deal.
Last week I taught an art class at the library and they want me to teach another class and do a normal thing every other week so I have to go talk to the lady there tomorrow. Before I was laid off every year I did a school-wide "boat show." Every grade did a different kind scratch art, 3-D etc. Anyways then some boats from each class were chosen for the show. One year it was at a museum and one year at a library. So, the library wants me to do that.
Mitch got the car checked for the trip and now it's all ready. I didn't even start packing yet. I checked the weather and we're going to need winter coats, flip-flops, thick pants, shorts, gloves, sunglasses. You get the idea. So the packing needs to get done tomorrow and Friday. Saturday the alarm clock is going off at 7:30 we'll get dressed have breakfast, pack up the last few things, pack up the car and be out by 9. Hopefully we can be at MK by 3 the latest.

Yes busy busy and then once I'm at Disney I'll be a mad woman. I'm glad to I've been sending my info every place and it's nice to be called for an interview.

Tomorrow I have to go for a job interview. I got called for a school 50 minutes away! It's in a bad neighborhood and a lot of the kids don't speak English. If I turn the job down then I don't get money from the government any more. So I hope I don't get it. I really don't want to go 100 minutes every day and be in a bad school.
My friend called today and said she is going to Disney the same day we are. So on Saturday we'll probably meet up. We have to talk more though. She had 2 kids that my kids love and the hubbies are good friends. I have to see what time she is coming, if she's going to park, how long they're staying, if they have dinner ADRS etc.
Second to last sleep!!

We woke up very early this day. I can't remember what time but it was the earliest the whole trip. MK was having AM EMH. Mitch had to stay in the room and work.
So just the girls and I went. We got to the bus stop at around a quarter to 8. An AK bus came, 3 DTD busses came, a blizzard beach (who's going there at this hour?) most of the busses were empty and no one got on. the Dolphin is the last stop. So, I'm not sure why the CM can't just change places and then go pick up the other resorts again. At around 5 after a bus came so much for making EMH. We all got seats because we were one of the first ones on. On the bus it was so cute. This little boy got so excited when ever he saw the castle. He kept saying "Disney world!! Disney world" It didn't apply to him that he was already in Disney world he thought just the castle was.
Anyway we got to the turnstiles and the tickets wouldn't work so we had to get them reprinted.
Last time seeing this

However I will see it again tomorrow.
The CM printed us our new tickets and took us into the gift shop before the tunnel and gave us 3 FPs for anything.

Now it was 8:35 we went over to PP. It was already SO HOT! AND NOT TO MENTION CROWDED. Dumbo was 30 minutes. IASW 10. Pooh I think 15 and PP 20. We all really wanted to ride PP one last time so on we went. The CMs weren't checking room keys so I think that had something to do it. Soon we were on and a minute later we were off.
Next stop was HM- walkon

Then we stopped for a snack near HoP-fruit salad to share. We were all hungry (no breakfast) so we gobbled that up pretty fast.
We then continued our walk to our destination

The Jungle Cruise is. The line was 35 minutes so we used our FPs. I wanted to use the FPs for Buzz but I wasn't waiting 35 minutes. Now that I think of it I should of gone to get Buzz FPs and then go in line with our for anything Fps. Oh well now I know.

We got in line for the bus. Naturally the BC and YC one. About 15 minutes later the bus came. We had to go in the Swan, Dolphin and BW bus though because our bus was parked having problems. The bus driver decided to spend 10 minutes picking Apple Jacks before they let anyone on. They only had one other family in line with us for the BC and YC. The other ones had 5 familys. It was sad to be leaving MK when everybody else was just arriving.

When we got back we went to the swan to pick up a gift for the neighbor getting our mail- Mickey shaped chocolate covered pretzels.
We went back to the room and put on our bathing suits and went to the pool. When we got down it was about 11. The pool was EMPTY. The girls had the slide to themselves. I think there was only 3 other families at the pool. About 30 minutes later it was time to get out and get dried off. The lobby was freezing so I had the girls change in the locker room for the gym. Each changing room was about the size of our hotel room and they had free little combs and such.
I went to Peekabos because I wanted to get a pizza for lunch. 35 minute wait! I think I'll go with sandwiches. We got 3 for the 4 of us to share. They were good but a reap off! 18$ for 3 little sandwiches.
We went back to the room had lunch finished packing and called for bellhop. Mitch and Amy went to go get the car and me and Emily stayed and waited.

The Bellman came pretty quick got our bags and soon we were waving bye-bye Disney.

About 15 minutes after we left property both girls were out. They slept like the dead.
3 hours later we were home.
I went to go get the mail from the neighbor and she said we missed big floods on our street. Luckily the house was o.k. That night Emily cried. I think it was for being too tired.
Over all it was such a great magical trip. I'm going to steal this -.+ idea from Becky's TR

Even though we had a great trip I think I'm done with going in May. The weather was rainy and when it wasn't yucky out it was a 1000 degrees. it was also crowded. But it was a great trip.
