He spent last semester in the school's Running Club and completed several 5k races with his team. He missed sign ups for this semester, so he's a bit down. He’s too stinkin’ smart for his own good. He’s obsessed with learning and already has better research skills than many college students. He can read something once (briefly, skimming) and retain that information. He has some mild sensory issues and won’t ride things like Haunted Mansion, other dark rides, and some roller coasters. Our last trip was a breakthrough with him riding three roller coasters (7D, BTMRR, and EE)! 
). She’s a big help when it comes to my kiddos. She is my main babysitter when I have appointments or DH and I need a night out. She almost went with us last October since DH didn’t know if he could get the time off work or not. Since the trip was booked prior to his new job and promotion, they allowed him to take time (without pay) to go. So mom stayed behind, but DH went with us. I’ll share a few highlights of our last trip throughout this PTR. Since our first trip was so rushed and short, many things will be new to her (outside of the new stuff).
Akki may or may not be joining us. We’ll find out if he shows up or not. lol

It's also too funny that WE just started the speech therapy this week, too. Are you doing baby sign language? We recently started that and he signs "eat" and "more" some. He signed "more" in therapy today, as well as tried to say "hat!" We were so excited! He didn't quite get the T out, so it was more like HA ... but he TRIED! I hope you have great success with speech therapy. Please let me know how it goes for your DD. I know it doesn't help everyone, but I'd love to hear your story.

What kind of carrier do you have? Jax and Cosmic Boy (Tula) both went with us last October. I guess they'll both go again. I'm just worried that he may need a toddler size prior.
DS1 still nurses some. I have a feeling he will still be nursing in October. He doesn't want to give up his milk.
Both are boy prints, so I hoped DH would approve and be okay with babywearing. He thinks babywearing is dumb, but found out at WDW it IS something useful. He won't wear around town, but did admit that being out in the parks it was very handy. 
I'm worried he has some crazy autoimmune or something. Anyway ... he ended up dropping down to the 2nd percentile and stayed there for MONTHS. Around 6 months, he slowly went up (got him in the 5th percentile). He's now in the 20th percentile. That little dude nursed ALL. THE. TIME. I was exhausted, but it was worth it. 
I had all sorts of issues with nursing (I had zero support with DD, so she was on formula and DS had a TT but I wasn't given accurate info on having it corrected, so I pumped for him). Baby had ULT and TT which we had to FIGHT to have corrected. The ENT we had to see said that it wasn't bad enough to effect him nursing. Once it was corrected, there was a HUGE difference. I struggled with thrush so many times (and still do), and I can't get rid of the yeast. 
I've had more blebs and clogged ducts than I can count. It's all still worth it. He's my last one and it's what he needed (and still does). He still nurses himself to sleep. Some days, he nurses like a newborn. Other days I wonder if he's ready to wean. I'm glad that weaning went very smooth for you. Maybe by college he'll wean ...
We just started signing. I wanted to do baby signing when he was an infant, but DH was VERY against it (and still is). As soon as the speech therapist recommended sign language to bridge the communication gap, I immediately started signing basic things. He's not on board, but whatever. lol The big kids sign to the baby, and my mom has started learning basic signs.
I'm told that we will eventually have once a week in-home visits through TEIS (if he's approved). The doctor was supposed to call for us, but we haven't heard anything. So the speech therapist said she would. I still haven't heard anything...
I've never tried an Ergo, so I can't compare. I do know I love my Tula. I tried doing a Baby K'tan when he was smaller, but I wasn't a big fan. So I never bothered with a wrap or a sling. I just upgraded to a Tula. And after I purchased my first one (on sale), I won the "right to buy" the LE Jax Tula. So then I had two.
My LO had issues with weight. He was born average weight (6.5 lbs), but kept dropping percentiles. We went to GI who pushed formula down our throats and rant tests. They never gave us any real answers but said to avoid the top 10 allergens. So we started working with an allergist. We know he's allergic to foods, but we are struggling to pinpoint. One day he has a reaction (hives around his face) and the next time he tries it, he's fine.
That sounds incredibly stressful, it is amazing that you pushed through. DD was 8lbs 3 oz at birth and then was quickly falling in terms of percentiles even though she was gaining. She ended up off the charts for awhile, which put us in feeding therapy. The child screamed bloody murder when a bottle went near her mouth, so until she started solids, no one else could feed her. We found out that she had an issue with her cheeks and gums, which might be causing speech delays now. After many months of appointments and tests, they just determined that DD is a stubborn, petite child. She is in the 5th percentile now but healthy as can be. It literally took her a year to double her birth weight (16lbs 8 oz at 1 year) and at 2 years she only weighed 22 pounds. This has just taught me patience and that every child is built differently
I'm super glad to hear that she's healthy, regardless of what the charts show! I think we doubled around the one year mark, too. We had a lot of issues with him losing weight in the beginning. It wasn't as noticeable when the appointments got spaced several months out as he got older. However, we were doing everything right. He was just a skinny baby. And he was happy. (And I hear you on the bottle thing -- mine refused bottles.)
I've got a little one too and my husband is also burning out a bit I'm not quite semi-crunchy, although I do bf and babywear (For WDW trips DH uses an Ergo sport, I usually use a Boba Air and a conversion ring sling that I loooooove). We have an amber necklace but my mom confiscated it because she was worried about choking Thought about cloth diapers but my mom and nanny threatened to never babysit our twins if we did that so we caved! We had preemie twins but we have avoided any special needs so far. They all take bottles pretty well but I have a friend whose baby is just not ok with them so I am familiar with those struggles. Allyinwonderland, one of my 2.5 yr old twins is only 24 pounds if it makes you feel any better! They truly are all different. Our baby (7 mo) will probably outweigh her before he hits 2.
I had to come up with MOST of the money on my own. 
(Okay, so in reality, he'd be heartbroken he'd have to choose between his top two loves.) I know how much money he typically spends a year on video games and PC upgrades for himself. Things he doesn't NEED.

You can call me a traitor as I love both sides. My main, is of course, Alliance (human Holy Paladin). My avatar is back from BC when my helm was glitching and showing a blue/white checkered box. So I took a screen print and saved it. What server do you play on? We might have to meet up in game sometime. 
) I do get asked about his necklaces often when we're out. I give them our opinion and point out that it doesn't hurt to try. Some people claim they're just a fad. He's only had tylenol/ibuprofen for fever, never teething. So they work in our experience. (So please don't think I'm pushing or anything. That's not my intentions.) We will play it by ear and see what's up. Before I had my first, I always wanted twins. Twins fascinate me so much! Were you blessed with identical or fraternal? BB, BG, or GG? I'd love to hear more about your twins. 
I sure have missed everyone around here! 
Also, for the first time ever, I am considering park hoppers. That's nearly $300 I wasn't looking forward to shelling out ....
