Aw thanks so much - that's so nice...Glad I crack someone besides myself up :)

Happy Belated 40th!! Red Lobster's a pretty darn good choice too...in my opinion it probably beat Flying Fish

Woohoo... Hummerzine! You had lots of Pixie Dust on your trip! How did you ever manage to come back to the "real world" after all that?

The trip was actually long enough that we were ready for the real world...the trick is to go on a REALLY long trip :)

Absolutely loving the trip report. Congrats on your wedding. You were a beautiful bride!!! The dress is REALLY pretty!

There are some over in my Planning Journal (linked in signature if you want to see more) but since you asked here are a couple (glad you asked actually - I love to share them!)...these are just from our cameras - the professional pics are not in yet...

We have a couple things in common....I turned 40 on Sept 23rd and I also have three daughters...except I stopped there!

Our first dinner on the cruise was at Animator’s Palate – which I LOVED on the first cruise! It was almost as great on this one, except on the first one Sorcerer Mickey showed up at the end during the show, this time he didn’t so I was a bit disappointed.

I love that you get so many choices on the cruise, and that every meal is 4 courses – I am a food lover so it works out well for me. We forgot to take pictures of some of the foods – but I did get pics of some of it…

For our first course I had Tuna Tartare (with caviar, chives, and wasabi cream). It was delicious and very fresh tasting.

Adrian had Wild Mushroom Risotto – which is funny because he doesn’t like mushrooms…although he loved this risotto!

For the second course – I don’t have a picture and unfortunately I wasn’t online on the ship, so I don’t remember what Adrian had.

I had a savory shrimp cheesecake which was amazing. It was a creamy (very cheesecake like) texture, and was loaded with shrimp…totally delicious!

For our main courses, he was totally predictable and had his favorite dinner – pasta with parmesan cream sauce, prosciutto, and shredded chicken. It was a great dish – not as good as those he had previously, but great just the same!

I had the fire roasted Beef Tenderloin “carved to order” on wasabi mashed potatoes with baby bok choy. It was delicious! I could have used a bit more wasabi in the mashed potatoes, but I understand they have to make food that suits the majority, not just me!

For dessert I had the Animator’s Sweet Temptations – a trio of strawberry sable, cranberry orange cheesecake, and double fudge chocolate cake. The cheesecake was fantastic…why oh why did I not just get a full order of that??? Again I experienced a new kind of cheesecake envy…this one from having just a taste and wanting more! It was tart yet sweet, and all around enjoyable.

Adrian had the double fudge chocolate cake – which was just OK…nothing too fantastic.

My mom didn't want dessert, so they brought her this!

While we were eating dessert, all of the servers came and sang “Happy Honeymoon to you” to us and brought us another dessert!! This one was a fantastic cake but had fake whipped cream on it (my least favorite thing to put on a dessert). The chocolate garnish was fantastic though – I wish we could have brought it back with us!

Animator’s Palate is a beautiful restaurant – seeing the walls, and the wait staff all coming to life with colors is awesome! Our head server was Ramsay, and his assistant was named (and I’m not making this up) Zoltan Kiss – coolest name ever!! They were great, and we were happy that they would be following us from restaurant to restaurant each night!

Up next – Parrot Cay…

Great update, I love food too and I love eating a couple of course. I'm hoping to convience my husband to a cruise when the New ship sails in 2012 (we went on a cruise 15 years ago and half of the people on the ship got sick...b/c of rough waters - we hit 2 major stroms and even the crew members was getting sick from the boat rocking so much).
Glad you guys are having a wonderful cruise meals so far and can't wait for more.

I had most of those dishes on the Wonder last March....the tartare and risotto were to die for!:cheer2:

We just chatted last night about taking a 7 night on the Fantasy when she sails in 2012...I may just book it...

I know - SO good...I always wonder how they keep fresh tuna on the ship...it seems weird to me...

Okay, so I totally trust you... but shrimp cheesecake??? That is such an odd concept to me. I guess that means I need more gourmet food. Probably not gonna get it here in po'dunk Mississippi. That settles it. I must go on the cruise! :lmao:

Hello! I am so glad I fell upon your report (found your link from one of your posts on another TR)

Your pictures are great - and I absolutely loved your wedding day!!!

"Read" you soon - :surfweb:

Just found your reviews, they're great so far! Your dress is gorgeous and I'm so jealous of your Disney wedding! DH would never have gone for that in a million years. I'm glad you liked your dinner at Tutto, we're headed there in January during our short 3 night trip with my parents and sister.

Sorry to hear about your bad service at WP and FF. Those are 2 places I've always wanted to eat at. Looking forward to the rest of your reviews!
