The Empty Nesters Magical Mystery Tour *1/28* Link to New Girl's TR p141

This update (not shockingly at all) made me want to be at DHS so badly!

I know the feeling. All the Epcot updates I see make me want to be there so badly. The F&W pics are killing me! :faint:

As usual, you got some amazing pictures. That really must have been a beautiful day! Glad you got a nice DISmeet in, too!

It was such a gorgeous day. I have never visited during that time and year and the sun just felt so glorious, especially with the low humidity. No wonder everyone goes to Florida in the winter. Snow bird - here I come!

SOMEDAY I WILL FIND THAT KEY! I always forget because I'm too excited about Muppets. I really love Muppets. :lmao: Ahhhhh, Toy Story Mania. I absolutely suck at it and I don't care. It's so much fun. Great update! Can't wait for the next one!

As soon as you get inside turn right and look at the door - its like a little ticket counter (sort of) then look straight down at your feet - there is the mat. It's so easy to walk by it. But you will see the sign that says - Key is under the mat. Just slow yourself down as soon as you enter.

Looks like a beautiful morning at DHS. I love when the weather and crowds cooperate and everything just seems to fall into place. And even though TSMM was down for a bit, it sounds like you went with the flow and found other things to occupy yourself with.

Our morning really couldn't have gone much better. It wasn't super crowded and we got to do all the attractions we were hoping to do. It was pretty darn perfect and was a great do-over since we completely missed HS last October!

LThe GMR does always have a long line. It's kind of crazy when you think about how many people they can load into one ride vehicle. :confused3

It IS crazy. I don't get why that ride is so popular, but I haven't been on it in years. If the line was short I would just hop in, but I can't really justify the wait. It's crazy!

The Broadway section is going to be our top choice because we met because we both sing in the choir at church and we both love musical theater.

That's really cool! It's just perfect. I agree. I sing at church, too so it really appeals to me.

Actually my internships were were during the second semester my freshman year and the summer in between my sophomore and junior years. As long as students are 18 and a full time student the semester before the arrive for their internship they can be any year in college and any major. If you or your kids have any questions about the DCP I will do my best to help!

I didn't realize the program was that flexible, but it makes sense. That's pretty cool that you went during your freshman year. Is that what made it possible for you to go back and just work for the summer? Having a summer job at Disney sounds perfect!

The DIS was driving me crazy the last few days! Every time I would go on, it was a busy server.

I know! It hasn't acted like that it quite awhile. It was very annoying and I kept thinking it was my computer.

Hahaha, of course there's an article on how to be the rebel spy.

:thumbsup2 As there should be! :rotfl2:

We always go on the GMR. Generally because I like an opportunity to rest my feet. Hahaha.

I hear ya! It's a great place to sit a spell. I actually like the ride, I just don't like the wait. I think its time for me to take a ride on it again.

I love how everyone calls it Mickey's Wheel of Death. I find it so fun! :rotfl:

I have never been on it but it sounds like that swinging cars are pretty intense. :rotfl: I'm still going to try it if I ever get out there.

Gotta love a DISmeet!

They are always the BEST! Amy and her family are so lovely!

The Muppets is always a good time.

I totally agree.

I guess being busy in the yard yesterday had its advantages. :upsidedow

It sure did! It rained here that day, which was pretty frustrating. I can't even tell you how many times I tried to log on!

Now MWoD up there had people stranded for about 2 hrs sometime last week.

MFWoD stuck

I read about that. It does not sound like fun! And that is why I always hit the rest room before I go on rides. :rolleyes1 90 minutes! :faint:

What a beautiful crystal clear day. :goodvibes Looks like operation do-over in DHS was a success.

Operation do-over WAS a great success! We had a great day there!

Hooray for a mini-vacation! :yay:

You were so productive at DHS! Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, and tons more - good job!

(One of these days, I'm going to anger the hoards of people streaming into Muppet 3-D and get a picture of that key. I know exactly where it is - I just can't get people out of the way in order to get a picture of it!)

I took a break from the internet and didn't even try to log into the Dis. It's a good thing, too, that I stayed away because not being able to log in when I wanted to would have driven me crazy. :badpc:

It drove me a little crazy, that's for sure! :rotfl2:::yes::

We finally did the drawing class at the Animation Academy, something I'd really wanted to try. We had gotten to DHS early for the Frozen fireworks and needed to kill some time in an air conditioned, uncrowded spot. We got into the last class of the evening. The CM was allowing the group to choose what character we wanted to do and the majority voted on drawing Buzz Lightyear. It was fun. :goodvibes

Cool. I would love to draw Buzz. That sounds like the perfect character to draw. I have gotten some really dumb characters when I've been there. I never get a classic anymore. Maybe next time!

Thanks to Danielle's tips on the TSMM Eater eggs I was able to get a pretty good score. I just kept shooting at the same group of targets on the final window and it worked. I only lost to DH by 400 points instead of the usual 150,000. :upsidedow

Eater Eggs? I must have missed this. Please share/ popcorn:: Anything I can do to boost my score is a good thing. It's such a fun game but I need some serious practice.

Have you gone on the lodge tour yet at the Wilderness Lodge? We did it one cold January morning and it was really interesting.

Yes - I did. It was wonderful. I loved it. In fact, not only did I go on the lodge tour, I got to go to the roof. :thumbsup2 Yup, that's right. Because I was the only one on the tour the ranger asked if there was anything special I wanted to do and you know what I said. ::yes:: Only problem was it was May and it was SO hot up there.

It really does look like a beautiful day. Crap. Now I want to book a Disney trip.

It was a gorgeous day and OF COURSE you do! But I am sure you already have something up your sleeve for this summer. I can't wait to see what's in the world for this summer.

Interesting! Scotty and I both got picked on our last trip. But I think they just wanted someone who was goofy-looking. :rotfl:

:lmao: You BOTH got picked. Wow. You're good! ::yes::

That must be the engineer in you!

Was there ever any doubt? :rolleyes1

C'mon, Denny!

I know, right? Denny has his little idiosyncrasies and this is definitely one them. I don't get it, but he refuses to draw a character. Go figure!

It's a classic show. I know eventually it will leave for something else, but I love it every time I see it.

It really IS fun and I hope they never change it. It's just one of those classics that you gotta love!

I don't see any scores...:rolleyes1

But don't worry. I suck at that game, too.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Thanks! That makes me feel A LOT better. NOT!

I love One Man's Dream. I made sure to walk through it this last trip.

It's so great, isn't it? BTW - are you doing a TR by any chance? I would love to read it if you are.

I love a DIS meet! Too bad TSM was not working, but glad that you were able to say hi and have a meet.

DIS meets are the best. It was ever better because I had no idea it was going to happen. I really enjoyed meeting Amy and her family. :goodvibes

I did the Backlot Tour this last time, since I knew I wouldn't see it again. Sam with Maelstrom; I don't hate that it'll be a Frozen attraction but I figured I should ride it one final time.

Smart moves. I wish I had the chance to do both of those rides again. I am especially going to miss Malestrom. I'm sure the Frozen ride will be fun, but I never did get a picture of that darn troll. Drat!

As always, love your pictures! You do such a great job. :thumbsup2

Thanks! :good vibes

The sky is so blue in your pictures. It truly was a beautiful day to be in Disney!

It really was a beautiful day. I loved visiting in late February. I can see why its such a popular time to head south.

Yay for a Dis Meet while waiting on Toy Story Mania to open back up. I love me some Dis meets. :thumbsup2

I loved getting to meet Amy and her family. It was really fun and I hope I get to see her again this February. She's a sweet heart!

Oh cool! That may very well have been one of the backsacks that I made since I recognize that pattern. Neat!

That's what I thought. That pattern just looked so darn familiar to me. It's super cute. I really like it! :thumbsup2

You were much more productive when the DIS was down than I was :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Trust me - I wasn't THAT productive. I felt like I kept goofing off all day Saturday and just couldn't get out of my way all day long.

Great update! Looks like a gorgeous DHS day :) It's too bad that Denny doesn't like the animation class much, it is so fun to do!

I love that class. I've gone in by myself a lot. One time I actually drew a character for him and for me. Boy was I busy with two drawings. It was pretty funny actually. :rotfl2:

I love wandering through One Man's Dream, and like you, I find that I love so many of the different pictures and paintings and models. Such an underrated attraction!

It's a totally underrated attraction. It's really awesome. It's such a great look back at Walt's legacy. His "rags to riches" story is really humbling. He never gave up and he found the positives in actually almost losing his shirt. Pretty impressive.

A little cool sounds heavenly after the muggy week I had, but it was Disney so I cant really complain.

You know - I was surprised that Cynthia & my week was not super hot. I was sort of expecting it. February is so pleasant compared to May. No comparison.

Love OMD, I always tear up in the video.

OMG - ME TOO! I always have to put my sunglasses on so people won't see me. It really is an amazing story. You've got to love Walt's determination at such a young age and through his entire life.

Yeah for a Dismeet!

I loved getting to meet Amy and her family. They were lovely. :goodvibes

The drawing class is really fun. I'm going to try and get mom there in December.

I haven't been there in several trips. I need to try for it next trip as well. Maybe I'll get to drawer a Frozen character. SQUEEEEEEE!

ooh a bucket list drink????? I can't wait to see what that might be :goodvibes

I'll give you a hint. It was blue and it glowed! Very tasty too. But ever since I saw that Merry Berry rita on your TR I have been wanting one of them!

Yay for seeing Amy :thumbsup2

How great was that? Totally not planned and arranged on the fly. She is lovely and so is her family! :thumbsup2

I want training from Danielle as well!

Seriously, she IS the master! :worship:

Such beautiful skies happening that day! I know DHS is not most people's favorite park, but we just love it, so I really enjoyed the little photo walk around the park. :goodvibes

It was SUCH a gorgeous day. There is something about an early spring day that is so invigorating.

DHS is not my fav park either, but there are really great rides there and so much to do and see if you take in all the little hidden gems.

Yay for a DIS meet!

I loved getting to meet Amy and her family. Definitely a highlight! :goodvibes

Fun update. Love the drawing of Walt with Mickey. :lovestruc

Thanks and me too! I just love that drawing and wish I could own it! :thumbsup2

Bucket list drink? :hyper:

Yup - like I told Cynthia it is blue and has a glow cube! Any guesses?

Looks like a gorgeous day. Is that Sci Fi?

Yes - Lunch at Sci Fi is coming up and it was truly a lovely day! :good vibes

Catching up.
Loving the pictures as always!!!

Hey Jen! Welcome back from your latest adventure and congrats on that beautiful new grand baby!

And thank you! :good vibes

Just got back from our recent trip so I am getting caught up here on the boards. I am hoping to do a small TR at some point, too.

Welcome back! I hope you had a great trip! If you do a TR PLEASE let me know so I can sub in!!!! :cool1: I'm looking forward to it!

Nice day at HS so far. We had hoped to catch the Backstage tour before it closed too but it was already closed for our trip.

Really? Bummer. I definitely wished I had seen it one more time but, oh well.

We did have a great do-over day at HS. It was fun!

Glad that Toy Story came back up. I don't see a score in the pics you posted. I usually score pretty badly in that one too but I think I got 93,000 this time, that's the best I ever did.

Really? My score picture didn't post? I better go back and check that since I did think I posted a pathetic score! :rotfl2:

Loved your pictures around the Studios. Especially the one that I assume is the bottom of the AT-AT's foot near Star Tours. Took me a little bit to figure out what it was!

:rotfl2: Yup - it was At At's foot. I always take that picture. It never turns out really well because of the light there. Gotta work on that.

Glad you like the pics. It's a fun place to photograph!

And your comment about Pee Wee... :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Glad someone picked up on that one! ;)

Hooray for a mini-vacation! :yay:

Welcome back! Yes - our mini vacation was a lot of fun. It's just what we needed last year to combat the winter blues! :cool1:

You were so productive at DHS! Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, and tons more - good job!

After completely missing HS last October we (or at least I) were completely on a mission to do all the things we missed. It was a great morning. Not too crowded and perfect weather.

(One of these days, I'm going to anger the hoards of people streaming into Muppet 3-D and get a picture of that key. I know exactly where it is - I just can't get people out of the way in order to get a picture of it!)

I've been pretty lucky getting a picture of the key without a lot of people around. In February there were hardly any people around in the pre show queue, so it worked out perfectly!

You know - I was surprised that Cynthia & my week was not super hot. I was sort of expecting it. February is so pleasant compared to May. No comparison. OMG - ME TOO! Dad's electric lemonade at PTC?

Work has been crazy lately, so I'm way behind everywhere it seems! Trying to get all caught up while I have a little time.

WooHoo for a do-over day! :woohoo:

I knew you could rent a canoe at Fort Wilderness, but didn't know they had kayaks. That sounds like fun for sure! :cool1: Nice picture tour of AS Sports......one of a few Disney resorts I haven't ever toured.

You're right, DHS always looks like there are a ton of people there waiting on rope drop. You started your day on a great note though, with my personal favorite RnR, and then off to ToT which I have learned to appreciate more recently. You got some great pictures while you were on the ride, especially the "ghost" family one! Too bad TSMM was having so many problems! The logical choice with the tiered FP+ always seems to be Start Tours now. I haven't ever been the Rebel Spy, but I HAVE been "that guy" at Laugh Floor! And of course Muppets is a given, although I wish they would do an upgrade and at least change it up a little, freshen up the jokes, or something.

One Man's Dream.......I love all the ride models too!

Dad's electric lemonade at PTC?

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! :cool1:

Work has been crazy lately, so I'm way behind everywhere it seems! Trying to get all caught up while I have a little time.

Ugh! I hate when that happens. I was wondering where you have been. Glad you just busy at work and I hope it slows down soon!

WooHoo for a do-over day! :woohoo:

:cool1: We really needed one. It's really a disgrace that we completely missed HS last October. So NOT cool!

I knew you could rent a canoe at Fort Wilderness, but didn't know they had kayaks. That sounds like fun for sure! :cool1: Nice picture tour of AS Sports......one of a few Disney resorts I haven't ever toured.

I was actually pretty surprised, but I saw a youtube video of someone kayaking. I'm not sure if its the greatest place in Florida to kayak, but it does look fun!

You're right, DHS always looks like there are a ton of people there waiting on rope drop.

Doesn't it? It's the most crowded rope drop and I can't figure out why.

You started your day on a great note though, with my personal favorite RnR, and then off to ToT which I have learned to appreciate more recently. You got some great pictures while you were on the ride, especially the "ghost" family one! Too bad TSMM was having so many problems!

I'm glad I got the ghost pictures to turn out! :thumbsup2 Score!

I do love Muppets, but I agree with you that it is a bit tired. It would be fun if there were different scenes and you would not know ahead of time which scene you were going to get.

One Man's Dream.......I love all the ride models too!

That attraction is THE BEST! Love it! It's totally a must do!

If Its Blue and it Glows

Someone brought to my attention that I actually forgot to post our dismal TSM scores.

Here is proof.

See what I mean - Dismal!

Shield your eyes Danielle!

I am Player 1. Woo hoo! NOT!

Moving on…..

Well, actually, before I get to my update I have a couple upcoming trip highlights.

First - This will probably be my last update before we leave Friday night. I was really hoping to get two updates in, but I just don’t think it can happen. What can I say.

Secondly, I CAVED! If you are my FB friend you probably know that I discovered Disney was offering a special DVC 4 day one park a day (with no repeats) ticket for $199. Seriously? That’s $50 a day. That’s a little more then we were going to spend for our 2 day pass at Universal.

It didn’t take me very long to decide that I just COULDN’T pass up this offer. Denny was a little reluctant at first, but then finally got on board.

So I purchased the ticket on Thursday and and made FP+ reservations that evening.

It looks like this

AK - I got EE, Dinosaur and Safari
MK- the three mountains. Obviously mine train was not available, but I have a FP+ for that for MNSSHP
HS- ToT, RnR, Fantasmic
Epcot - Soarin,, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth

Not bad!

For those of you who knew I would cave - you were right, but only because the price was right. We saved over $200 compared to if we bought the base 4 day ticket. If you are wondering why I just didn’t get another AP, its because I want to get it in 2015 to cover a Christmas trip. I didn’t want to get it early. so there!

In other news, I ran my 10 K last weekend to get my time for the PHM. I should safely be out of the last corral. YAY! This weekend I did an 8 mile run (in the rain), so I am pretty much on track for the 1/2 marathon training.

NOW -

Back to your regularly scheduled TR

For lunch we landed here.

I know you are all astute enough to recognize we had landed at Sci Fi!

Within moments of check in we were led to our car.

We sat in the front row of an empty car, which was later filled by a family who sat behind us.

Our view through the windshield

I just knew this was going to be a fun ride!

Our neighbors

I tried to get some decent pics of the screen. I’m not sure about anyone else (and I’m certain I am showing my age here), but I actually went to the drive in every weekend when I was in high school (and it wasn’t to watch the movies, IF you know what I mean!)

Anyway - the advertisements on the screen really bring back memories of those days

I totally remember the hotdog jumping into the bun (I am waiting for for someones comment on this)

and the dancing ice cream

This is classic stuff you guys! Gotta love it!!!!!

I wanted to get some good low light pictures of the cars

This really does look like the old fashioned snack bar

I ordered some kind of reuben (I say some kind because I can’t remember if the meat was corn beef or something else) and it was pretty decadent and yummy!

You have probably noted that I also had the Orange Blossom Pilsner, because I was in Florida after all!

We watched more retro cartoons while we ate

And I took more pictures of the scenery

I decided to go to the back of the restaurant and try to get some pics.

I tried to edit this one more for light, but I don’t love it

Anyway - it was a fun meal and I enjoyed it. It’s been years since I’ve eaten here. Seriously, my kids were in grade school the last time we dined here, so it was a good choice.

Back outside we had to readjust to the Florida sunshine

I told Denny I needed to make an important stop. I had a bucket list drink I wanted to try. Think of it as dessert, I said.

Any guesses?

Ta Da - Dad’s Electric Lemonade! (Yay - Cynthia guessed it!)

There was an adorable girl from England sitting on the bar stool next to me who said, “It’s really good, but it’s REALLY strong”.

So, Ok, I was warned.

And the first sip did taste a little strong, but after that I settled in, the booze got mixed, and all was good.

Denny and I went back outside to sit in the glorious Florida sun, although I noticed it was getting a little cooler.

Look at those skies! Ahhhhhhhh!

We certainly had our choice of tables.

Continued In Next Post

Ok, yes, I am a little obsessed with these umbrellas. Please! Don’t judge me!

Last one. I promise!

After my drink was consumed it was time to head out of the park. I know. Boo! But it was mid afternoon and we figured Friday afternoon traffic might result in a longer than normal trip to the Gulf Coast (not to mention the fact that we really had NO idea where we were going).

We stopped for some street performers

We stopped for some pictures on the way out!

The PP guy did a little trick shot using Denny's sunglasses. If you look real close you can see me in the lens

So clever!

Look - there I am again!

Of course, no trip is complete without a shout out to Boo!

Then it was off to find our very compact car in the parking lot. Check out this luxury baby.

I don’t know if rental cars are getting more expensive or if I am not taking enough time to find the deals, but this was the best I could do. In the car’s defense - it did get good gas mileage, but it was SMALL!

I was sad to be leaving Disney property so soon, but I was looking forward to seeing a new part of Florida.

I4 West - Here we come!

I had to take a picture of this

Of course, drinking a beer and a dad’s electric lemonade before leaving the park necessitated a rest stop along I4.

Hey - It’s not everyday you see a car from Delaware outside the state of Delaware. Just saying!

I4 traffic wasn’t terrible, but before we got to Tampa we needed to turn north on another highway to get us to Tarpon Springs. Here’s were we hit some traffic.

It took us about two hours to get from Orlando to Tarpon Springs with the Friday afternoon traffic. But finally we arrived at our home for the next four nights.

We met our hostess and I paid her the balance. This was waiting for us on arrival!

Not going to get that at a hotel.

I really didn’t take any pictures of the carriage house, except for this one. This is the little sitting area, which may be slightly reminiscent of grandma’s house. But, seriously, other than the daybed covering looking a little old fashioned, it was an adorable place. The bed was in another room and there was a separate kitchen area. The bed was super comfortable.

The only weird thing was our host and hostess told us they were throwing a surprise 50th birthday party for their daughter the next night and they actually had some of the shrimp in the freezer in the carriage house. I figured we were going to be out the entire day, so it didn’t really matter. But it was one of those weird “oh by the way” moments.

We got unpacked and decided to go check out the town of Tarpon Springs for dinner.

Tarpon Springs is predominately a Greek town and there is a Greek restaurant literally every 10 feet. Our hostess told us that Hellas would be the most crowded since it was the most popular.

We drove down to the Sponge Docks and easily found parking.

Back in the day Tarpon Springs was known for its sponge divers. The whole tourist trap aspect of the town is built around this historical fact.

Continued In Next Post...

As you can see this boat is full of sponges

You can actually go out and watch a sponge diver go underwater to find sponges.

If you ask me, real sponges are pretty ugly. I’ll take the fake manufactured ones.

I was glad we went down to the Sponge Docks. Even though it was Friday night, it was pretty chilly, so there weren’t a lot of people out. That made for easy pictures.

The Sponge Diver statue right in the heart of the docks.

Little known facts about the Sponge Industry

I think if you live on the coast in Florida you MUST have a kayak. It should be a requirement.

The infamous Hellas Restaurant

We walked by it going both directions and it honestly seemed like the only place doing business, so we decided to check it out.

We had no trouble getting a seat and we both ordered a couple of foo-foo drinks.

Hellas was right out of a scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I actually liked it in there because it felt nice and warm on a chilly evening.

Sponge Diver Alert

I had no trouble deciding what to order. I am a total sucker for Spanikopita (spinach pie).

Pat - warning - cover you eyes - allergy alert!

That was one big plate of food and I am proud to say I ate almost all of it. Even the peas were really good.

More Restaurant Pics

We made a couple of observations while at dinner. Everyone around us ordered the Saganaki (the flaming cheese) and Hellas had an amazing bakery that people can order their dessert from. We skipped dessert, but we visited the bakery and brought home a couple of goodies for later munching.

And that, my friends, ends the first day of our February Florida Escape.

Up Next - kayaking with manatees and finding the coolest brew pub ever!

You have learned to "appreciate" ToT? :rotfl2: That's funny!
Well, since someone happens to love it, it has become a "must do" on my trips now........... :rolleyes1 Before that, it was more like Denny and Test Track, and you know how he is about that one!

:lmao: I can totally see you being "that guy". I wish Denny would get that honor one of these trips. It would be so funny. I'd love it!
I was miserable the whole time..........you know how I dislike being the center of attention............. :rolleyes2

I do love Muppets, but I agree with you that it is a bit tired. It would be fun if there were different scenes and you would not know ahead of time which scene you were going to get.
Now that's a great idea, sorta like Star Tours........different beginnings, middles, and endings and it is random which ones you get each show. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Yeah I know exactly how Denny is with that one. He acts like he doesn't like it but he actually secretly LOVES it! :rotfl2:

I was miserable the whole time..........you know how I dislike being the center of attention............. :rolleyes2

Awwww - but it was for a good cause. Well, sort of!

Actually, I got picked once to pick the number between one and 99 or whatever it is. I was SO shocked that it was me that I got the worst instant stage fright. I literally could barely talk. It was bad. :scared:

Now that's a great idea, sorta like Star Tours........different beginnings, middles, and endings and it is random which ones you get each show. :thumbsup2

I think its a pretty darn good idea, if I do say so myself! ::yes::

Great job on the FP+ grabs, and the success on the runs to keep you out of the last corral!!! :cheer2:

I’m not sure about anyone else (and I’m certain I am showing my age here), but I actually went to the drive in every weekend when I was in high school (and it wasn’t to watch the movies, IF you know what I mean!)
There are other reasons to go to the Drive In besides the movie??? :confused3

I totally remember the hotdog jumping into the bun (I am waiting for for someones comment on this)

Oh that one would just be toooooo easy, but I guess now we have a clue about........oh, never mind. :scared:

The reuben looked really good! As for the Dad's Electric Lemonade, I think I might just need to try that one sometime! ::yes::

The PP guy did a little trick shot using Denny's sunglasses. If you look real close you can see me in the lens

Does that make you the apple of Denny's eye? With that smile, he must have been the one taking you to those Drive-In movies........... :smokin:

Of course, no trip is complete without a shout out to Boo!

I guess in all that white, it would be easy for someone to mistake him for a ghost............ :rotfl2: I still contend he is a little stiff, and lacking of personality......... ;)

If you ask me, real sponges are pretty ugly. I’ll take the fake manufactured ones.

Maybe, but I bet the real kind are so much better at exfoliating........... :scratchin

Great job on the FP+ grabs, and the success on the runs to keep you out of the last corral!!! :cheer2:

Thanks and thanks!

There are other reasons to go to the Drive In besides the movie??? :confused3

::yes::

Oh that one would just be toooooo easy, but I guess now we have a clue about........oh, never mind. :scared:

:rotfl2:

The reuben looked really good! As for the Dad's Electric Lemonade, I think I might just need to try that one sometime! ::yes::

It was really good. Be careful though - they really go down a little too easy. ;)

Does that make you the apple of Denny's eye? With that smile, he must have been the one taking you to those Drive-In movies........... :smokin:

Yes - I think it DOES make me the apple of Denny's eye. Thank you for noticing!

I guess in all that white, it would be easy for someone to mistake him for a ghost............ :rotfl2: I still contend he is a little stiff, and lacking of personality......... ;)

This conversation is starting to deteriorate, isn't it? :rotfl2:

Maybe, but I bet the real kind are so much better at exfoliating........... :scratchin

I suspect you are right about that!!!!

Mary Ellen - Nice day at HS.

Back to Sci- Fi

I remember the hot dog and bun and the ice cream more from Grease than the movies I think. :rotfl:

I never knew that about Tarpon Springs and being in Clearwater I was close enough that I should have known that. :confused3

:scared1::scared1: on the peas. :rotfl2: Glad the rest of your meal was good.

Eater Eggs? I must have missed this. Please share/ popcorn:: Anything I can do to boost my score is a good thing. It's such a fun game but I need some serious practice.

An Eastern Egg is a hidden trick to get a higher score om Toy Story Mania. These tricks were designed by the Imagineers to make the game more fun and competitive. There are certain things to shoot at that will bring up targets with a high point value. I have never looked up what those tricks are, but I must have unintentionally run into one when I was last there. :)
