Well, at least some of them...

So it looks like Paint the Night will end in Early January, and the Electrical Parade will appear in Spring of 2017.

FYI, for those planning a future trip, a heads up.

Of course, everything is subject to change, but hard to hide floats, even if they are under white tents backstage.

I'm hoping for early February. If not surely it will be going before my summer trip. Thank you for the update.

Well, Disney will have to have a test and adjust period, followed by rehearsals with the performers.

So their best option are on days that Disneyland closes between 8 to 10 PM, because they must totally clear out the park of guests first.

The first stage will just have the floats going up and down the parade route, with the music playing. The floats have sensors that triggersound queues. Also they can use some of the Paint the Night effects that use the buildings next to the parade route.

Then they will bring in the performers, and it is weird, as I have been backstage during this stage, and the performers wear street clothing, but are going through the motions (dance moves, face character waving on their float platforms (and it is weird to see them out of costume, makeup and wigs).

Finally dress rehearsals. So I am not sure they can make mid-February, more like Spring/Easter break in late March makes more sense from a scheduling standpoint.

I would be happy if it took that long as I'm hoping to see PTN in JAN 19-22. However, I read somewhere that the electrical parade would be returning after new year.

They've already said that they have extensively rehab the floats, which is what happened the last time it came back from FL.

So PTN won't run in JAN & also no Pixar Parade?! I'm really hoping either PTN or the Electrical parade are going in JAN for entertainment :(

It is unsure if Paint the Night will run during the first week of January, which is still Christmas Peak, but with somewhat lesser crowds.

DCA can't currently hold a parade due to the need for backstage areas to retheme Tower of Terror.

Mickey's Soundsational Parade will be offered daily, barring weather or a special event that blocks the parade route.

I hope they'll take the downtime between PTN and MSEP to repave Main St. It seems like it's about the time for them to do it again, and why bring MSEP back just to take it down for a few weeks to do that.

I would love it if the Electrical Parade was back in for late March. With no parade in DCA, it would be a shame not to have in each park during March/ Spring break.
