The ECV: Vacation Saver!

I checked into the Beach Club on Sunday Aug 24th for a 6 night stay and the free DDP. The day before, I felt a "twinge" in my back when I was getting out of the car. By Monday night, I could barely move. Tuesday found me in the Celebration Hospital emergency room. In spite of some pretty good muscle relaxers and pain killers, I was pretty much worthless Tuesday and Wednesday. I tried to venture out of my room Wednesday afternoon, and I am so lucky I did.

Why? Because I saw someone riding on an ECV through the lobby of the BC, and I got the number of the place where I could rent one myself!

Walker Mobility delivered my vacation saver within a couple of hours of my phone call! The final three days of my vacation, while more limited than what I was used to, were saved!

For anyone that is "on the fence" about whether or not to use an ECV for their trip...DO IT!

Thanks for your info. My dh has been having some real issues with his leg and we have been sitting on the fence about getting an ECV for our trip in one week. I think your vote has helped us decide to go for it. I don't want the trip to be miserable for him (or me)!
