Thanks for the Wishes !!Today I had another great piece of news !! The Kiwanis Aktion Club that CarolE and I somehow got nominated to start , had mentioned they would like to volunteer at a Soup Kitchen !! Well I have a contact from way back so I said I would check with her !!In the mean time I went on line and found out that the First Lady is involved /coneected with Kiwanis/ Aktion Club and was asking that they sponsor a " Dress for Success" Closet . Where those looking to better themselves and their children are trying to find jobs , but have no decent clothes to go for an interview and should they be hired , no Businesstype casual clothes > Well I talked to my contacta and yes she would love their help at a soup kitchen on saturdays or Thursdays , when I mentioned the Clothes Closet she was excited and said similar thoughts had been on her mind . So we will make plans after the Holiday , but I am really excited about it as I think it a great idea!!

Thought I'd share our Christmas Morning , ...Started a little before 8 a.m (yes I got to sleep in past 5 a) Kyle was of course first up and soon had everyone up. The first thing was stockings which I had hidden and in their place were tiny ones with coal in them Once all REAL stockings were found we opened them , I got a Mickey/Minnie 2013 calendar for work I LOVE it !! lots of other stuff. I also got a new suitcase (badly needed) for next years trips , a 24" flatscreen, my first flatscreen, a new coffee pot ( a tradition) , several outfits,pj's and sneakers , the girls bought their own gifts this year for the family , from Steph I got 2 nice tops and from Samantha , new sneakers !! If I was to list the kids it would take for EVAH!! But they did get very nice rings from Kay Jewellers which they LOVE!!Judy was blown away by my gift to her of a certificate for an automatic car starter , her face just lit up!!Kyle got lots of dirt bike gear, skinny jeans (his first) 2 large Nutcrackers for his collection.
Every year Judy says I am not buying a lot and every year she does !!

WOW!!!! You had a very Merry Christmas, I see! The automatic car starter is SO NICE!!!! I have one on mine but for different reasons down here....THE HEAT!!! I use it a lot in the summer to cool off the car before getting in.

The weather has turned VERY cold today and a BIG snow storm is forecast tonight !! Here in WNY we are used to these winter storms so they do not cause the havoc they would down south , we have the snow plows and salt for the roads and except for the idiots everyone knows to SLOW down !!!
