But wait, there's more.

We will be leaving the Orlando area and traveling to Fort Myers to visit (meet for the first time) my fiance's stepmother. YIKES! I have been lucky he does not have a lot of family...wait that sounded awful. Let's try this again. My social anxiety has not been tested with many family introductions. He has one sister (we see her occasionally). And that's it except for the stepmother. Both his parents are gone. No kids or extended family. He is not so lucky. My family is rather small but not that small. Well at least I will get to see the Gulf of Mexico.

We will then travel through the Everglades. We will take an airboat tour and we have a nature tour that involves kayaking and hiking.

Finally we will arrive in Fort Lauderdale for a day of relaxing on the beach (I have never seen the Atlantic) and maybe some snorkeling.

My son is worried about alligators and sharks. DF is putting up with Disney and Universal so DS will have to put up with some nature. I plan to enjoy it all.

Then it is home after 10 fun-filled days of vacation.

I know you won't see this until you get back but I just wanted to say that I hope you are having a great time! I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you before your trip started but for some reason I haven't been getting updates for some of the threads I'm subscribed to. Anyway, have a magical trip and I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!

Hopefully the Everglades is open again by the time you get there. Southwest Florida is beautiful. I grew up on the Atlantic Coast of Florida but I truly love where I'm at now better.
