The downfall to a/c!

I just figured out the worst part about having air conditioning in your house.

From previous posts you may recall that I have some anal tendancies when it comes to house work, vaccuming the floors twice a day, bathroom daily etc..The only time when I don't do that is when it is physically to hot to clean. This doesn't happen very often, but this weekend, it would be physically to hot to clean house. Having lived here last summer, I know just how hot this 3rd floor apartment can get...the thermostat will peg at 90 and i know it's hotter than that...

So stupid me, goes and buys a/c units...now, it's a comfortable 72ish here even when it's nasty hot outside. One of the reasons for the a/c units is for the chinchilla's, they don't do well above 80 with high humidity...(good excuse huh?)..

I am sitting here thinking about how hot it is going to be outside, and how humid, and how I should probably get busy cleaning now before it gets hotter......when it dawns on me. MORON its only 72 in here now....you can't use the heat for an excuse!

So my bright idea- really wasnt all that bright!

Yes, A/C can bring on a sedetary way or even may get you to do things you wouldn't normally do on a hot day.

I love A/C, but hate the expense of it. I keep the house at 76 to lower my electrical bill.

I also started exercising outdoors because I sweat more (and that's the point). However, I do it between 5:00 and 6:00 am. - I'm not stupid.

i'm sitting out on our deck, listenng to the ac behind me watching the sun come up, and i am comfortable.. i know its gonna be hot later today, but right now its nice out here.
