I'm still here,plodding through the last million and two posts!!! I am on page 79 and have been at this for quite awhile!!! After reading all of that I say we definately will hit 100 pages tomorrow!!!

Just checking in to see if I missed anything tonight. Hey Elaine, I can't wait to see your new hair cut. Can't believe that you didn't have just a little red put into the color. Actually, it sounds like a nice cut and beautiful color. Does Luis like it?

The football game was a lot of fun but they try to pack way too much into one night. The stadium was packed. The bands from both teams did half time together and then they added the middle school band for two songs. This is tradition for the school district. Tonight was Senior Parent Night for football, cheerleading, and band. They also let the cheerleaders from the recreation football league do some cheers and the kids who play recreation football(grades 4-8) were allowed on the field at halftime, and it was band sweetheart night. Just way too many people but we had a blast. Steve made it to the game just as it was starting.

My only big complaint was that the longer I sat there the more congested I got. I must have sneezed 75-100 times during the second half. I am miserable now. Well, off to bed with a box of kleenex.

Will stop in off and on tomorrow.

Jodie, just make the next update a Cliff notes version. There has been way too much going on since the 15th. You are truly an angel for tackling this project.

So Kim is hosting a scrapbook party tonight. Now we know why she was cleaning today. That is about my style. I usually do a good cleaning job if someone is coming over. Hey, if the family wants spotless then they can help. Ha! Ha! Things can be sitting on the floor for two weeks and they will just step over it. They are so flexible!!! I love my family.

Anyway, have a great night. Maybe I will have the last word tonight. NOT! Bonnie, Jodie, Elaine or Jennifer will probably have the pleasure. I bow down to the 4 Queens of the DISerhood.

Update time!!! Ya'll were WAY too mouthy so this update isn't as detailed as others have been. I will try and keep up better next time!! Sooooo...from 10/13 until now, this is what we have been up to:

Curious minds wondered about Jay's choice of undies and votes were cast. We wondered what he wore under his robes!! In reality Jay wears BOTH boxers and briefs but doesn't like to be "too free" in public...he would rather "keep things in check"!

The list of the sick during this time period: Jennifer's Emily, Jodie's ds, Karen had surgery on her face, Michele's dd, Sherry smashed her finger at a wedding, Betty, Betty's dd's butt, the baby that Sherry sits for who puked on her furniture and suggestions were made on how to get rid of the offending odor and Jeannie provided a motion sickness bag about 2 hours late (it's the thought that counts!)

We continued to be VERY mouthy

Zurg duct taped his own kids!!!

Bonnie does not whine! (right!) and her dd and dh cleaned the hose for the first time in 10 years but turned the laundry yellow!!

Jennifer posted the 1000th post on the diserhood thread!!!

We all took a road trip to Disney world where things are always happy and magical!! Vehicles driving: little red civic, maroon Mercedes SUV, WC. Kids were shipped to camp Nativtxn! Some stayed at the poly and some at the WL. Jay was passed from lap to lap, there were hula hunks, Betty brought the "cootie spray", we made invention bags and NASA stuff and had lots of smoothies with a battery powered blender. Wehad matching leis and lime green swimsuits (with a speedo and trunks for Jay since we were not sure how "free" he would want to be! It was Jodie's birthday so the hula hunks danced with her on the stage and she stuffed ten dollar bills into their hulas!! Bonnie spent some time behind a palm tree with her hunk...nuff said, and Kim wore leather boots with her hula skirt. We sipped Pina Coladas on the beach at the Poly watching fireworks that had been arranged just for Jodie!! We had a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fair and wore tiaras (Jay preferrd his Jedi gear). We saw Fantasmic and Jodie thinks the Ya Yas are pretty "fantasmic" themselves for taking her on this road trip that she needed most desparately

Hello, ladies. I'm back... DW & I went to Dave & Busters for a little gaming and Cheesecake Factory for a little dinner. We got a mailer for a free $10 gift card from D&B to use towards food or games, so we used it towards games. I am now officially a Jedi Knight. Played Star Wars Ep1 pinball & reached a level called "Jedi Knight". Never did that before, so it's now official. I guess I got a good score, but the best part is it was all free.

You were all busy here again tonight! I'm sure you all know, but TDS is having the DVD/VHS sale again. I didn't see the thread, but found out when I got to the store at 8:30pm. I'm stopping by another one in the morning to try & find a movie or two I'm looking for.

Gosh, another reference to peeking under my robes. Did I mention that I really *LOVE* being the only guy on this thread?? Ahhh.... life is good.

Jennifer, you're looking for a new name? How about RedHeadDisDork?

Betty has actually been boogered but forgot to tell the story!!

Survivor, boogering, a battle between the last word and time zones and the "official " last word were all discussed

Elaine had her hair cut and colored and won't post pics

Kim and Elaine's first phone call was 200 minutes!!!

Betty needs all of our pixie dust for 2 weeks!

Diserhood occupations were discussed

Betty said TGIF!!!

Betty thought of new games to play: Sag you're it! Hide and go pee and Musical recliners to name a few

Jennifer is changing her dis name and needs suggestions posted by 8pm on Monday . She requests Bonnie use her special influences with the tag fairy to have her tags moved

Kim was cleaning and scrapbooking and Bonnie has major headaches at work

Official guesse were made as to the date we will hit 100 pages. After THIS update, Dream is sure this will happen very soon!!!

Betty had loads of fun at the football game tonight but sneezed a bajillion times and went off to bed, hopefully with Nyquil

Good morning everyone! It was a rather quiet night here though I must admit.

And yes Jodie, that sure earned you last word of the night I think I've noticed something here, it gets kind of noticable when the last word is because there is a huge break between about 1 am and 5 am eastern where I know we all are sleeping. I think we can kind of judge that one ourselves because if we stick to the midnight thing, then some can easily get both the last and first word in by just posting immediately before and immediately after midnight (how's that for a good thought at this hour of the day )

Don't worry everyone I wasn't intentionally avoiding you. We tried taking a pic of my hair but it wouldn't help you much as the color that came up was way too dark... so it wouldn't show you all how it really looked. After I wash it today I'll take a pic and show you all

Well I'm just going to sit around for a while. It is cold and rainy out so I will wait to go out to the store for a while I think

Good Morning Elaine! I'm up too. I can't believe it's still dark here at 7 am! Slept on the couch last night. I was sooo tired I fell asleep in front of the computer and never woke up. So I guess you could say I slept with ya'll last night Just started a fire and a pot of coffee. No one else is up, I wonder how long this paradise will last......

I took a handful of girls to the girl scout dance last night. What fun. TOOOOooo many people though! My nieghbor brought his 2 girls (about mine girls ages) and he ended up bringing Emily and his daughter home after an hour. They were a bit overwhelmed. Too cute though a pink and blue princess!! This was Paige's first dance and she loved it. Got really mad at me when I took her picture doing the chicken dance

Sorry I fell asleep before answering you Bonnie. Yes I've been to Bronners. I love Frankenmuth. bronners will definately put you in the christmas mood!!!!

Good morning everyone. I sort of croaked last night so I didnt post. Since I had the surgery on my face Ive been getting really nasty headaches. I think between severely tightening every muscle in my body when they shot in the anesthetic.....It REALLY hurt....and the shaking I was getting after the surgery....I messed up the muscles in both my neck and in my hip. It doesnt take much with the fibromyalgia. Im hoping dh will take pity on me and rub out my neck today some time. If that doesnt work then I will go and have a massage therapy session...at least thats covered on my insurance.

Bonnie I am SO sorry you are having all these problems at work. I am very glad though you have the VP behind you and also two of your other coworkers.

Betty I will be saying MEGA prayers and keeping everything crossed that all is quiet on the sicckie and hurt front until Nov 1.

Jay it sounds like you had a WONDERFUL time last night. We have a Dave and Busters here too. I will have to check it out sometime. Congrats on the official Jedi Knight title!!!

Good morning ladies and gentleman. Well, I have dropped off Princess(our shih tzu) to be groomed. At least one girl in this house will look this weekend. I am waiting for DH to get home from meeting at church. He is going to be a giver next weekend at a retreat for church. Thus befeller will be home another weekend without DH. Anywho, as soon as he gets home he will pack the SUV and head to Atlanta tonight (sleep over at his brother's house) and then on to Tallehassee on Sunday.

Hey did I tell you all that we bought a new car 2 weeks ago? We got a 2003 Honda Accord and I will be driving it during the break in period and then DH and I will switch cars at Thanksgiviing in Gatlinburg. It is nice but I have gotten used to sitting up high in the SUV.

Jodie the recap was awesome. You have such a way with words. There are times that I actually wish my house was a hose. Would be easier to clean up. But now that I know that Kim can clean a house I think she should take turns cleaning the DISerhood's houses. I know Kim mentioned her house first so can I be after her.

Bonnie, thanks for sharing what is going on at work. That sounds very stressful. Hope everything will work out. While you are gone to Frankenmuth today I will make sure that no one and I mean noone touches your hula honey. (well can't just touch him once?)

Jennifer, I am sure Jay will be one happy DISer today. So you slept with us last night. Was that you hogging all the covers last night? I remember our father/daughter dance for Brownies. DH gave DD a wrist corsage. Brings a tear to my eye.

Is anyone here a lefty?? For awhile now we thought our youngest was. Now we know he is. Weve been working with him on writing letters and he holds the pen, pencil, or marker in his left hand.

I know some things cause lefties more problems than righties and Im trying to figure that out before he might have a problem with it. I know spiral bound notebooks are one of them. I just want to make it as easy for him as possible.

I cant get over how much like my mom he is. He has a lot of her facial features, her eyecolor, and her lefthandedness. Mom passed away four months after he was born and its neat that there is a part of her in him.

Well, I was a leftie until I started kindergarten. That was back in the days when they you switch. I was a very obedient child back then (not now) and became a rightie.

Sorry to hear that your mom has passed away and didn't get the chance to see your ds grow up. My mom died when my two were 2 and 5. I always think of her when they reach those proud mom milestones. I wish she could be there. But isn't is wonderful to know that your mom's memory will always live on in your DS's mannerisms and looks. I know you miss your mom.

Well...dd is home. Five hours of sleep...not bad for a sleepover I guess.
Karen, my Mom died 6 weeks before my ds was born. I know how difficult it is to have a new baby and no Mom to squeal and ooo and aww with. But, like you, ds is JUST like her!!! I just stare at him sometimes when a mannerism or a phrase he uses is MOM"S! It might sound freaky to someone who hasn't experienced it, but it isn't. When this happens I laugh and I am filled with an incredable warmth. She is still with me in so many ways, but especially in the spirit of this child.
Off to do MORE laundry...it is endless!! Gotta wash out the "garage kittie's" blankets and get his bedding ready for cold weather. DH says there are some people who don't live as well as this cat. See ya'll later!!!

Karen, Ugh! I hope dh rubs out your neck. Sounds like you are in some pain. Hope it gets better soon! My DD Regan is a leftie. She gets it from my MIL. She turns the paper so she can see what she is writing. It looks weird, but it does work. Other than her writing being a little sloppy if she doesn't concentrate, she hasn't had any problems. My other DD is a rightie for sure. So sad to hear your mom died, Karen.... That time is precious. I keep telling DH that we need to spend more time at my mom and dads, since they are getting older. I want those memories to be there for my DD's.

Kim, was the party fun? I have always been interested in scrapbooking!

Cool, Betty. I have always liked Hondas! I hope DH has a safe trip to Tallahassee.

Good morning/afternoon everyone. I'm about to walk out the door to visit MIL/FIL today & will be gone all day, so I'm sure you'll have plenty of reading material to give me. I just skimmed today's posts, so please forgive me for missing a few things. Gotta leave pretty soon.

Jennifer, congrats on the new car!! Good choice too!! I had a youth director in church long ago that loved Honda Accords. He said it's in the Bible that we should get them, so we could "all travel in one accord." This is the same guy who also said that it's in the Bible that we shouldn't fly. As in airplanes. It's in there. You can look it up. It says, "Lo, I am with you always." It doesn't say anything about being with you while you're way up there. Well, that was his reasoning, anyway.

Cheesecake Factory is good, but is more of a special occassion place. They have a lunch combo of pizza & salad that DW & could split. It's *HUGE* It can be a wee bit on the pricey side, but it's good. They have some good normal food as well as some unique things to try. I'm not much for cheesecake (well, the food kind LOL), but DW loves it. We got some to take home. They have a chocolate mousse cake that I'll have to try next time.
