Bonnie sure likes to booger people. She is getting really good at it. Good thing I closed the lid on the lap top last night.
I didn't get a chance to tell this last night but I have been boogered. Wasn't fun either. Happened last year when I was subbing. When more of you are on I will tell the story. It is one of those it is funny but not funny tales. (a tale that may stop someone from ever considering subbing)
By the way, my teens are dorks in training (DIT). Our school district has two medium sized high schools instead of one huge mega high school. For 27 years they have been in the same sports league. Well, tonight is the end of the era. It is the last time we play the other high school in football because they are moving down a division. This is a big rivalry. All the kids attend one mega middle school so they all know each other, plus all the rec leagues, knothole, little league, Pop Warner, scouts and other things they have been in together. There is even a big community barbeque with free food at the high school before the game. (It is being sponsored by a club that has members/athletes from both high schools and their goal is to promote good sportsmanship and to be an example of a drug/alcohol/tobacco free student athlete - membership is by teacher/coach nomination and they go through an interview process to become a member.) DS belongs to this club. PROUD MOM!
Picture this: (our school colors are black/orange
DS, 6 foot tall, senior, wearing orange/black Cat in the Hat hat, black turtleneck, white with black and orange writing t-shirt, orange knickers, black baseball socks and black nike sandel slides
And not to be outdone =====
DD, 5' 2", freshman, hair in pigtails with orange ribbon, back part is zigzag, orange and black war paint on face, black long sleeve t-shirt, orange school t-shirt from last years game, black and orange horizontally striped leggings with a pair of black with orange school logo shorts over them and big black clunky tie up shoes.
A sight that can make a mother cry. Not sure if this is one of those proud mom moments.
