Im having a proud mommy day today. My son was chosen as one of only four kids from his class to attend gifted classes on Thursdays. They go to a totally different school and do all kinds of neat things. Today they went to see the Amistad.

Then this afternoon he auditioned for the all Honors Orchestra at school and made it!!!! I am so proud of him. He has only been playing the viola for a very short time.

I wouldn't really call me chicken in the normal sense Sherry. I have a lot of back & neck problems and I am always scared of hurting them. ToT would do a nice job of that for me if I am not careful... same with the simulator rides & Space Mt. Some are okay and others are not for me

Michele, How is your DD this evening? You asked about the Tylenol/Motrin switching...do you mean the thing I mentioned the other day?? It's just a matter of overlapping them.... 2 hours into one dose, give her the other. That's what the ER dr. told us to do with Cam anyway. His temp. spiked to 105... and that was what took it back down.

Oh, and you also asked about how to check the post count on a thread... did you find out where to do that yet? Click where it lists how many posts are on a given thread before you actually open the thread.

Betty? How is Allison today? Something like that happened to me when I was around her age. I was crossing a street in a cross walk and a car turning right, didn't see me. She wasn't going fast at all, and didn't hit me terribly hard, but did knock me on my butt pretty hard. I've had neck and back problems since. I ultimately ended up having a.... rather, uh... interesting chiropractic adjustment in an attempt to allieviate some of the pain I was dealing with. I do hope Allison is feeling better soon!

Karen, That is so wonderful!! Your son sounds like an amazing kid. Tell him congrats from all of us.

Oh...and about TOT. Not EVEN!!! No way, no how, not EVER!

Hmmm... I'll see if Luis can get me a signed excuse for the rides (hopefully Luis will agree to it because no mom to do it for me... would my dad work? ). Then again I might be okay. It doesn't bother me all the time but one night on a bad bed and I am in trouble. I guess I'll see when I get there
