Hey everyone, whats up? I finally made it home from car dealership. Seems I needed the big service this time, which translates into big $. OUCH!!!

Got home just in time to get a phone call from DD's teacher, they were on a field trip today at an ice skating rink doing some stuff about physics. Once they finished their worksheet they were allowed to skate. Now DD has been skating since 4 years old. She can do the spins and go backwards(not great but better than me) Today she fell and hurt her tailbone. Teacher wanted to give me heads up because all they could do was ice it. You need a doctor's permission slip to be able to give her tylenol or advil plus I would have to provide it(Don't get me started as why do I have to have a doctor's note to give my child over the counter medicine) They only had an hour left of school when they got back and Allison insisted she was fine. She is a spunky one. He was still concerned and thought that I should keep an eye on her. So I now have a 14 year old laying flat on the floor with knees bent icing her back. I gave her some tylenol and advil. I don't see any bruising and she is pointing at lower back vs tail bone so don't know how mcuh time I will have tonight on the thread.

Sherry, turn the heat on girl. At least to take the nip out of the air.

Well, my cold is on stand still. Not any worse and not any better.

Sherry and I have decided that since Jennifer didn't pick us up that we would drive straight to WDW. We got the last 2 rooms concierge lagoon view. Figured Sherry Elaine and I could take one and the other room could be for Bonnie, Karen, and Jodie. It really doesn't matter because I know that our rooms are next to each other. (remember Jennifer, Kim and Jay are at WL) Since Sherry and I got there well before everyone else we hopped the monorail and went to MK and had lunch at Cinderella's castle. Just call us when you all get here because we are doing the Mountains this afternoon. Hope your trip was eventful.

YEEouch-Allison must have her mom's spunk. Speedy recovery to her! I wouldn't worry too much about SHERRY-if it gets bad she's got a certain soap hunk to keep her warm.

I do have a tiny rant though. I am on the PTA Board at DD's school. My position is Market Day. Our last day of ordering is tomorrow, noontime. So...last Thursday I dropped off a reminder notice. Didn't go home. So yesterday I dropped off another one (in case they lost it). Well, at least I got a call this time saying that yes it is copied but you have to cut and distribute yourself. Fine. Then I get another call saying the PTA Pres. is cutting and distributing. Fine, Excellent since by this time it was too late for me to do anything. Guess what.... THEY DIDN'T COME HOME TODAY!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...........!!

Ok, I'm all done now.

Just Joking about the soaps. You are talking about All my children right? Not my soaps. I do CBS!! He is a hottie though!

So sorry to hear about Allison's injury That's no fun!!!! Here's some get well pd!!!!!~*~*~~*~*~*~*~**~*~

So, I had a hectic but totally awsome day!!!! First part was spent vaccuming and mopping....ahhhhhh a fur free house (for the next few hours anyway ) Then off to shop for a certain mailing I need to make hehehehehehe Found a few little tid bits....then home to "do some work" on "somethings" for said package. Then called the bank. Dh wanted me to check into refinancing the house. So I make the call....head is spinning as the loan officer is rattling off numbers. Bottom line......because our house is newly built our escrow account has been short (When the really taxes kicked in) and that was rolled into the morgage payment every month. If we pay that off when we close on the refinancing, we'll save......(drumroll please.....) $500 a month!!!!! $600 if they re-assess the house high enough that we can lose the pmi!!!!!

I'm feeling generous!!! Anyone we forgot to get on the way to WDW....catch a plane...first class......it's on me!!!!

We all have PS for the early luau (thanks Karen). Jennifer did you find your grass skirt in your room when you checked in? Don't you all just love the LIME GREEN bathing suits that I found. Hope it is a good shade for you red heads? I wasn't sure if Jay wore speedos or long short type suit so I sent him one of each. I guess we will all be surprised when we see him. I am ready for some Polynesian hunks. Hope Jodie doesn't get too wild up there on the stage. Did anyone bring a camera?

Hey Jennifer, about that first class ticket, can I take a rain check since I am already here. Never been to Disneyland and would love to see Kinky and the original Mouse Trap.

Real Life - Allison is sleeping on the floor. Don't really want to wake her. I really need to check for bruising somewhere other than the lower back. So what are the chances that a 14 year old will let dear old mom look at her butt? Hope everyone has a nice dinner tonight. For some reason, I am craving pineapples, coconuts, chicken, and Pina Colada's. Of course the thought of lime green bathing suits are haunting me. But it is my fantasy and we all look MARVELOUS!

Ahhh... concierge lagoon view at the Poly... truly the only way to stay! I love it there and the Luau tonight!!! Sounds like loads of fun. I can feel the sun now and hear that wonderful music on the beach!!

Well RL will take me away this evening. We are going out tonight and celebrating a little. Luis was recently hired into his position at his current place of employment. Many of you don't know (or may not remember) but a year ago August, Luis was laid off. It was a rough year for us because we had just bought a house and hadn't even been married a year yet. Well after a year of struggling, he got a contracting job that finally lead to a perm. position. He was officially hired in Oct 4th so we are now finally going out to celebrate tonight

WOW! had a great time at the Luau. I didn't know that Jodie could move like that. Was she suppose to put that $10 bill in his hula?

Although it was a little cool standing on the POLY beach in the lime green I really loved the fireworks. Of course Bonnie didn't see many of the fireworks. She was making her own with the hula hunk behind the palm tree!!!! And did you all see Jay's eyes pop out when the hula gal was shaking her hips! Thought he was going to have a coronary! Good thing we have a nurse with us. (hello Bonnie!!!)

Karen's idea of having drinks in the lounge is a good one. Anyone else want to come. Hey Bonnie, can you get your lips off that hula guy! Anyway, I picked up a sweet looking hula hottie and will be there soon.

So how did everyone else do? Anyone pick up someone or get picked up. But what was with Kim wearing those leather boots with the hula skirt?

Ah, Jennifer...didn't get your reply till now. I have even more info now that I know DD's age. I did send you another pm, but let me know if you want more info. I just attended a conference that covered all the material for that age, since DD #1 will be going in that group next year.

Elaine, glad to hear about Luis success. DH is in similar situation. He has a 6 month contract for the State of Florida. Hopefully, he will do a good job and will find something steady through the state or the head hunter that got him the contract (even if it is with another company) Been a tough year here also. We have gone through our savings and college funds. Hope Chris will pick an Ohio school.

Just glad to hear that someone's story has a happy ending.

Ann Arbor eh? You wouldn't happen to be a fan of some maize and blue team would you? Acutally I drove by there not too long ago to that meet in Battle Creek. Looped right next to it before heading out on 94 (I think it was).

Betty, try not to worry about colleges right now... I paid for about half of mine through loans... (still paying for them now too ) and you know what? That was fine with me. But I do hope he picks Ohio schools because I swear some of them are excellent deals! I do hope something good comes out of the contract though. It was a rough year or so but we survived and now things look pretty good (knock on wood). But I must say I have that well deserved trip now to help me wind down from all we went through. Happy endings are very possible
