***Dream passes Betty a wet wipe for her shirt***
Oh how awful about that child! It is heartbreaking to hear of one so young, who hasn't really started life yet, to feel so hopeless the only recourse is to end it all. Sigh.... I am afraid I am going to be a real "downer" for you guys tonight. Think I'll slurp the rest of my smoothie/slushie and go to sleep. I will be back to normaltomorrow....don't worry! I never stay down for long!!
Jennifer...an invention bag is a FUN thing! I always do it on campouts with my girls and have done it a lot as a room mom too. Kids love em! All it is is a brown lunch bag filled with whatever craft leftovers you have on hand. These bags have animal print pom poms, popsicle sticks, feathers, brads, odd shaped pieces of balsa wood, tiny clothespins and reg. sized ones too and a couple of springs. Then you give them a challenge! Tonight I was going to tell them to create something that would make camping easier...a gadget. It is amazing what they make and the explanations behind them!!! Last year I asked them to create something to help get rid of the mosquitos around camp! What a hoot that was! As a room Mom I have asked them to create something "fun", something tall that helps people etc.
I would love to hear about your NASA lady's program!!
Night everybody!! Sweet wormly dreams!
