Hey girls and guy, how you all doing?

Glad to have the campers back!!!! You guys sound as though you really roughed it this weekend. My idea of roughing it is a hotel without an indoor pool.

So, are we telling hair disaster stories?

Elaine, you have such beautiful hair. I can't imagine it being red. By the way, I loved seeing the DIS meet pictures that you took. It was nice seeing Mickey Nut, bobcat and coqui again.

HI Betty!!!! I missed your welcome home in between jumping up and down from the computer.

Not too happy with the DH right now. He did NOTHING to keep up the house while I was gone, and then repremands me for not "spending 5 minutes with Emily after being gone for 2 days"..... well if the dishwasher didn't smell like rotten milk (forgot to run it, so I had to set it on sanitize), there wasn't fur and toys and junk all over the floor and if we HAD A LICK OF FOOD IN THE HOUSE...yeah...I might have had time to sit down with her.....hoooooh...that feels so much better....

Be back when I finish reading....don't even know HOW I'm going to get through the rest of the CB....I can't even get caught up on this thread......

Why thank you Betty! I must admit my hair is one of the two things about myself that I actually truly like Hmmm... couldn't imagine it as red? How about this for you?

Not very red... but a deep auburn (looked very red in some lighting though)

I am glad to know that you did like the pictures! We had a lot of fun and sometime soon we'll have to plan another one so we can see you again.

Ok here goes.....I was just curious, when you send or recieve an email or pm....who should be the last to respond....how do you know when the conversation is over? and which person should be the last to "speak"? How about when sending a thank you? should the receiver of a note of thanks respond to it, or let it be the last gesture? How about a thread?.........

I have the bad habit of having to have the last word in RL....I was just curious.....

AND.....you can blame Jodie for my curiousity!!!!......

If I'm "done" but I want to acknowledge that I'd received an e-mail, I'll send a smiley face in recognition. Or-in slightly more formal situations-a "Thanks..."-5 words or less type e-mail.

Jennifer, I know exactly what you mean. I really love getting away but I really dread coming home to find all the uneaten leftover food still on the plates and sitting on the counter. What really gets me is the empty dishwasher. DH is 46 and DS is 17. You would think that they are old enough to pick up aftet themselves. I usually make a remark about giving the maid the weekend off and that they needed to help out. Of course men don't hear anything. Lets do some male bashing. That should be good for 3-4 pages.

Elaine, the pictures of you are so good. The red is really dark so it goes well with you coloring. So how do you all think Kim would look as a redhead? I tried it 3 years ago. I thought it looked OK, but my kids hated it. I think it only lasted 3-4 months and then I had my hair highlighted. My natural hair color is either dish water blonde or light brown. Also wanted to let you know that our little Princess(shih tzu) has her own Christmas stocking and stocking holder. I thought all family pets have them.

By the way, I was so jealous of all the attention that Kim had about her leather boots that I bought some this weekend. Ok, I stretch the truth a bit. My boots are cut just above ankle and the heels are chunky. They are only 2 inches tall. I am sure that Kinky's are much taller. Us old ladies can't wear those high heels anymore.

The last volley I think I let fall though because I sort of answered it in a regular post on the thread....but it still bothers me! OK...who KEEPS the questionable pms...the ones you are not sure whether you should answer them or not...until you are "double dog sure"?

And with that very deep question posed...time to wake kids and start the morning roller coaster! I am taking an inventory of my scout closet today to see what needs to be bought for this weekends campout and what we have left from the last one! I will pop in later.
