OK...update time! From the morning of 10/2 until now...this is what we have been up to!
Jennifer's bank found her money and she is mailing Betty a big birthday gift which we can all chip in on. The rest of the money will go into a slushie fund for the dis! Jennifer is also shopping for a good raincoat for her "bound to be rainy" campout this weekend.
Jay debated the rating of the "kinky Kim" story which he has YET to tell!! He very slimily alluded to some...um...interesting stuff behind Kim's back, then got miffed when we talked behind HIS! Jennifer made a gallant stab at protecting Jay's dignity but it was very half-hearted. As he was supposedly out getting his computer updated, Dream called him a chicken and Betty agreed and somebody uttered the words "BOK BOK"! Jay pouted and made signs like "Padowan for hire" and "duct tape services available". Jay packed his Padowan toys and sulked off the thread for awhile.
More slushies were made as we all anxiously awaited Kim's reaction to Jay's comments.
Kim finally read the story and offered to trade her padowan but Jennifer said "no trade" since Kim is better at keeping men!!
Jay gave Kim "hurt puppy eyes" and she apologized for threatening to trade him, saying she had had a rotten day. Jay came back but still has not spilled the kinky beans!!
Michele decided the "kinky" story has to do with a perm! Hmmmm....me thinks she may be onto something!!
A few weird culinary tastes were discussed: Betty drank liquid starch as a kid and her brother ate a plastic bullet and her dog ate a log cabin made of pretzles! Kim's Cameron has a taste for dog food, Kim ate Graandma's nitro pills, Elaine ate a roll of Tums thinking they were Nekko wafers, Bonnies dd ate a shrunken mothball thinking it was a skittle, several Tbsp of Triaminic and finished with Ipecac which cured her weird eating for life!!Jennifer and Michele's families choose to physically abuse one another rather than eat weird stuff but Jennifer's furbabies eat yarn, barbie clothes, hot sauce and the kids homework and Micheles furbaby eats hairbands! Kim then shared her gross story of her kitty eating the string off of a rolled roast and the string coming out of the kitty's....you know...and then Kim pulled on the string! OUCH!!! At this point Michele and Dream said TMI!!! Kim's goats also ate her house before becoming someone else's goats!!!
The dept. of highways in Orlando needs better organizational skills
We are all donning combat attire in a very non Disneylike way, and are planning to pummell Kim's bossy adversary in the school library and the person who screwed up Jay's computer! Do NOT pick on our friends!!!
Betty shared her frustrtions over her neighbor's assault and we all ad some "PG" names for the slimeball!!
Bonnie decided the last word of the night should be "HANG EM HIGH!!"
Elaine got her car serviced so it will be in good shape to get her to the Chicago dis meet.
Bonnie was tired and Jennifer reminded her that when you play, you pay!
Dream shared her exhausting day and went to bed early
Michele shared her story about swimming in the snow and Betty called Jay a big sissy
Jennifer continued to procrastinate on the Girl Scout reading and noticed Bonnie had fallen asleep and was drooling on her keyboard
Jennifer won the grand prize for having the last word of the night and the first word of the morning!!!
Elaine still can't find the card for her camera
Dream thought a very clever moderator had hijacked our thread this morning and wisked it away to who knows where but Elaine came to the rescue
very quietly from work.
Elaine got lost trying to keep up with the thread as did Kim...gasp!...how could that be?!?!
Bonnie shared her "communication difficulties" that she had had with her "early rising" dh!!
Michele is traveling to Jacksonville

Jay's padowan braid is too tight
AND....we are back to pathetic!!!
WRRRRR.....Dream whips up a batch of "everybody cheer up" smoothies...walks to the center of the screen and holds out frosty mugs of magical smoothies to ALL!!!
