Ooooh, you guys are mean!!! You know, you shouldn't pick on old people... it's bad for their heart. That warm water thingy is especially cruel.. perfect duty for Shirley. Actually I was up about an hour ago, but had to feed a crying kitten, let out whining dogs, break up the fight between the crying kitten and the whining dogs, try to get the old kitty to eat at least just a little bit... etc.

This thread is hilarious. I can just picture us at a Dis meet in about 30 years.

Dances in the 6th grade?!? Eeek!! Cam's in the 6th grade! They don't do that at his school. He's not considered junior high until next year... they won't have dances then either though. It's a very strict Christian school... he'll have to learn to dance elsewhere I'm afraid. LOL!! What a visual that creates... Cameron dancing with a girl! Bwahahahaha.... he'd be so clueless. What a wonderful time last night for you and dd, Jodie!! What memories!!

Hmmm... where is Betty anyway? Maybe the subbing did her in the other day. I've been there, it's exhausting!!

Oh. The headache is better Jennifer, but still threatening to get nasty again. I think my neck is out of alignment... time to go see the chiro. again I guess.

So... who here has recently taken their kids out to a $45 lunch only to have one pout the whole time (because we didn't go to Wendy's) and the other flips and flops and talks at the top of her lungs the whole time? What a waist!

I haven't even gotten to the grocery store yet

That would be me. Infact, we took him on a two week vacation where for the majority of the time he just grumped around. In our case, it's just the age. We have the preteen thing happening. Poor baby...he's seems so miserable most of the time lately.

Sorry to hear lunch didn't go well Jennifer. Next time, toss a Wendy's burger at'em and be done with it, I guess. Kids...go figure.

Geesh...where is everybody today? We not only lost Betty, I think we've lost Elaine and Jodie too. Hey guys!! Come out come out, wherever you are!!

So what'cha all doing tonight? I'm bored. I need something fun and exciting to do... any suggestions??

I'm here!! Well well well.....finally decide to wake up this morning Kim dear? You are in DEEP trouble woman if we ever have a dis sleepover!!! LOL!
So...wanna hear about my day? Took dd out clothes shopping...seems all of her clothes are now "too babyish"! It's not so bad though...seems "The Limited Too" is now a thing of the past....THAT should save our budget!!...and Kohl's is the store of choice....muuuuch better! And, lo and behold, we discover today that she is now in Junior sizes! I though we would NEVER get out of that place!! She was flitting from rack to rack like a little butterfly!! She chose some very nice things...no arguments! Then we went to the tack shop to spend some birthday cash from her grandparents...she must have touched every Breyer horse in the place!!! That done, she wanted to go to a place in the mall called Pac Sun to get some tshirts like her friends have. Never made it there because we had to get home to the guys who were waiting for us to ride out to the Boy Scout camp to check out our site for next weekend. Beautiful ride, beautiful camp...gonna have a blast...except for the so called bathrooms!!! Yikes...I will have nightmares about this one!!! Then it's out to dinner and rush home to pack up my little socialite and take her to a birthday sleepover for one of her friends!! Geez...she will need to go back to school to get some rest!!! And now I am ready for an evening of paly time with ya'll!! Oh...and I have coffee in hand so I can at least stay up until 11pm!!! I don't know how people can be 45 without coffee! So how is everybody?

I go to take the nieghbor girl home, feed the family dinner and you all come out of the wood work!!!

Thought we were going to have to sell Emily to gypsys today (that's our threat whenever they drive us crazy, makes everyone laugh ) Then the neighbor family showed up at 5:30, left their 4 year old to play and took Paige out to play kick ball. GREAT I thought... now I get to westle with 2 4 yr olds, not a fair trade....I was wrong, the girls disappeared and then reappeared in Emily's pj's (they alway change into each pj's at each others houses) Put on hula skirts form Paige's Lilo and Stitch party, crowns and beads then ran out the back door to paly in the sand box!!!

At 7:15 I figured I better feed my family (eggs toast and hash browns) so I call over to the neighbor so they can give PAige a heads up to come home and I would bring thier daughter home..... They didn't know I had her THey are a wonderful family not neglagent at all, we had a good laugh!!

I have 4 minutes until I have to read bed time stories to Emily. After that I'll be as bored as you Kim!!! MAybe we should troll some other threads and find someone to play with us. Perhaps Zurg or EROS is around

I'll take a cup of that coffee Jodie!!! I'll be dis'ing and doing some GS homework.......

Geez... I can't help it if I'm the only pathetic (there's that word again) lone little Californian on this thread. When I'm still in "Ni Ni land" ya'll up are partying and having a good time without me. That's just wrong. I really think you should all rearrange your schedules and get on CA time so we could chat longer!

Awwww... first giggling till midnight and now clothes shopping. I'm so jealous. All I've been able to do w/ Cameron lately is talk to him about his rather obsessive nature with the video games. Sigh.

Oooh! Good idea Jennifer! Let's go find someone good to harrass. Should we start with duct tape and then move onto flashythingies or maybe try something new? I could always post some more pictures...that usually sends everyone running for the hills.

LOL! The neighbors didn't know you had her?!?! What a hoot!!! I can just picture those outfits in the sandbox! My dd lived for a whole year in a blue satin dress that my MIL made for her the year she was Cinderella. I can still see her helping my dh shovel mulch wearing her "blue satin"!!!
I'll be watching to see what trouble ya'll decide to get into tonight !!!

We definately need to use the flashy things!!! I've never used one before!!! I didn't take any meds yet so can I drive the wonder car? Hey by the way....I think it was DH who hit the house NOT me!!!! He took rubbing compound to it and never asked me how it happened, so I have to believe HE did it!!!!

Wish I could be on CA time Kim, then I'd have 3 more hours to get all the things that didn't get done done today! So it's about dinner time for you isn't it?

Thanks for the coffee Jodie!!! I needed to come down and have a cup. Just tucked Emily into bed and saw the aftermath of the little dress up hour!!! YIKES!!!! what a mess! can't even move in her room and they managed to break out the bottom of her shirt drawer!!!!!! I don't even want to know how!

I'm counting on you to find som good trouble Jodie!!! Don't just watch from the sidelines!!!

So you have an eight year old son huh, didn't realize he was PAige's age. I'm finding 8 more difficult than I thought it was going to be!! I don't even want to think about the pre teen years!!!! I'll watch you and Kim go through it and take notes!!!!

Yes! Actually I am a pretty good web page designer. I have an art degree and I've been doing small projects for non profit places around here. But I don't have the right software on my lap top to do it up right (and I was just goofing around) so I put the pictures in a yahoo breifcase (to reduce the resolution) then slapped them on the page. I was going to put captions, but then got wrapped up in a thread over here (someone new thinks we are all lonely and welll....pathetic )

ANYWAY...These are pictures from one of our 4 trips to Cedar Point this summer. The girls were hot a sweaty so they aren't at their cutest, but these are the only pictures stored on my lap top.

PAige it the older one she is 8. And Emily is the little one she's 4 1/2!!!!

Hey Y'all. Saw that some of you missed me. I am touched. Sorry I haven't been around lately but once in a while I actually have a life! I subbed Thursday and then stood in the rain for a cross country meet. I couldn't wait to come home and take a nice warm bath. I subbed on Friday also. DH came home from NYC last night and we had a basement date. I made a big pot of chili and we sat downstairs and drank some beer with the chili and watched O, Brother Where art thou? Really funny!!!!! Today we rode the bus with the freshman volleyball team to No Mans Land and watched a tournament. Tonight DH and I went out to hear a singer at Borders and just got home from dinner.

Ok, just between us girls...(don't want to get in trouble for starting a riot or anything ) someone over on the "ignore list" thread wants to know why we care about what each other has for dinner or what our kids are doing. A valid question if you aren't into this kind of thing. Several of us made some (I think) convincing points about what a nice place to chat this is. Now Shannon and I are having lemonaide on Snoopy's porch swing talking about our son and daughter's impending marriage..... I'm sure this poor person had no idea how truely nuts we all are LOL!!!!!
