Well this is pathetic ladies, but I am going to have to go to bed soon. I am a tad tired since I woke up so early this morning. But hopefully with my new trusty pillow I will have an excellent night's sleep.

You knwo I finally went and read that thread. I can understand what they were thinking, but in all honesty I find this a good way to find friends as well as in (what I like to call) "in person every day life". You know you all are real to me and RL doesn't stop on the internet for me. I have many good friends that I keep in touch with via internet that I've met in person because they've moved so I guess chatting with people online is just the same to me. You did make a good point and I will say that I do understand that many don't see this the same way I do and feel that this isn't really a real life at all.

Okay I've babbled... that must mean I'm tired. Night all and I promise I won't be spending most of my day pillow looking again

. . but then if some people here would share the pain medications, I would probably resist the temptation. .

You sounded good to me. Of course I took all the comments I saw on the last few pages as non-attacking and just friendly comments & questions. I think you (and everyone else for that matter) sounded very friendly towards each other

We do share pain meds here Willy, but I figured being the kind and compassionate mod that you are, that you'd never dream of closing this thread no matter what

I don't think your comments were out of line over ther. It was hard to tell how to take that comment. My first reaction was to use a few words to get that thread locked for sure

Thanks for the lemonade Jennifer. My back is great. Just takes some time. Hope next Saturday night you will be writing that you are feeling great also. DH leaves for NYC Monday morning. He has at least another month working there. Although I hate having him gone, we spent over 7 months with no job and with the economy the way it is, he has to take the work wherever he can find it. As for the green in your girls hair, I have to admit their natural hair color looks better than the green.

As for the other thread, I think the poster hasn't been visiting often enough. A true lurker would know that many relationships are cultivated because of the love for Disney and I think Jennifer said it well. Although I know there have been times(early in my lurking stage) that I felt left out of the inside jokes but finally realized that I needed to jump in and make some inside jokes of my own so that coming here would be fun. (Actually, I was a little jealous)

I really like the fact that I finally got the nerve to go to a DIS meet and can put some faces with names. My next step is to someday go to DIS CON.

I know how you feel about the job thing!! My dh was out of work for 6 months. Now he heads up a development team that up to this point has only developed butt prints in their chairs. He works so late I'm pretty much a single parent....but NOT complaining!!!!!

That's so funny, I did the same thing when I first came over to the CB. I didn't get the jokes and inside stories....until one day...I JUMPED

Let's see. . . I've been hanging vinyl siding the past few days and although the pain is mostly emotional (I don't know what the heck I'm doing. . ) my muscles are pretty sore. . what would you ladies recomend?

definately my muscle relaxers!! I didn't take any tonight cause....well that's not important...but I made my daughter go back to bed friday morning at 7 am becuase I thought it was still the middle of the night . Good stuff, knock ya right out.

I know all about single parenting but really love the weekends. It seems to make us a little closer. (of course the 7 months that he was here 24/7 started to get on my nerves)

Have you taken your muscle relaxer tonight? Just so you have some hope, I thought that I would let you know that I still have 3 pills left and at least 10 tylenol w/codiene. Once my back starting to feel better, I quit taking the meds. I didn't like falling asleep at 8 in the evening and not knowing what my teens were up to. (especially after that green hair dye incident)

Glad your little one enjoyed homecoming. I forgot to let you all know that Christopher did not make homecoming king. But let me tell you, I was one proud mama when they announced his name at the game and at the dance(did I mention that DH and I chaparoned the dance) I took video of the parade. I cried. I have a scanner but should learn how to post pictures so that you all could see my little ones. Maybe someone should write me step by step directions on how to post.

Betty, I know what you're going through. DH works away from home off an on throughout the year, and it's always such an adjustment. It's an adjustment getting used to having him gone, then we have to readjust when he's back.

I would say that I was a little angel but I know Elaine has that covered. So I will admit the truth. I AM an angel that has two teeny little red horns sticking out of my head. (this was actually my halloween costume when I was around 2 or 3. My older teenage brothers dressed me up) However, I have a very nice angel collection.

Maybe this week I will travel to another board and try to learn some new tricks. (I am afraid of new experiences)

Now for Willy J. You have waited too long to let me know what color that siding is. I can't give you any advice but leave you in the competent hands of the West Coast.
