Wow.... Miss a few hours and you miss a lot. I'm still trying to catch up, but spotted an interesting post or two. Jennifer is kind and offers me cookies. Betty thinks I'm sucking up at the in-laws. Hmmm.... Gee, wonder which one I should address & which one I should ignore? I thought I saw something about Jennifer having cookies, then her DH, but I need to reread that just to make sure. Maybe I'll wait on those cookies. Sounds like she may be busy.

Okay, Real Life alert here. *WARNING* *WARNING*
*The following contains a big gripe of mine that I've kept bottled up. Please skip the next paragraph if you would like. I won't mind. I just have to vent a bit. *
Okay, so I get home, read up on the Dis a bit & try to work a little. Yes, work. I'm stuck in a situation where I can't submit any programs to run b/c the database I use only allows a certain # to run at any given time. Here it is, 11:30pm on a Saturday night and *I CAN'T GET ANY PROGRAMS TO RUN!!!!!!* Too many programs running right now. So I can't work during the day in the week. I can't work nights during the week. Now I can't work days or nights on WEEKENDS!!! I guess they're paying me to sit here & do nothing, except get frustrated. Good thing my boss understands & deals w/ this too, or I'd really have a problem. Grrrr..... I am so mad at all of this. I would pour Pepsi on my PC, but then it would affect my Dis time, so that option is out. Ok.... calm down.... I'll just use this time to catch up on this thread.....

Looks like most everyone is headed off to bed.... I may do the same here, but after I try to read a few pages & see what you all said about me today.

One last post before I call it a night. Just trying to catch up on all these pages and pages.... Whew!!! I'm sorry to read about those of you who lost parents so close together. I can kinda relate. DW & I lost 3 relatives w/in 2 months a few years back (including a grandmother for each of us). It can be difficult, that's for sure. My thoughts & prayers for you all.

Hey! Jennifer & I think alike!! I like park maps too! They kind of pile up after a while, but they're a cool way to see how the parks change over time. Like a snapshot of history of each park. I sooooo wish I was going to DisCon w/ everyone. You will have an awesome time!!!

Hey, will you guys all be taking a group pic while you're there? Any idea where the pic will be taken? I have an idea......... And I may ask if someone could try a Dole Whip at MK & let me know how it tastes.

What a pain in the butt!! Like you said good thing you boss understands! Want to send your computer away with mine on a special journey to CA? Later today I have to box up my baby and get her ready to ship.

The cookie offer still stands. Sometimes they are a great breakfast. As for being busy....well......I just like to keep the disers on their toes and shock the lurkers a bit Think I scared any of them away???

Good Morning, All...well not that great of a morning. DD scared the crap out of us this morning. Came downstairs, said she was feeling bad, ears hurt, etc....well she fell, once over a stool and then from standing straight up! She was total dead weight, so I let her sleep on my side of the bed, and I have been on the couch.) So, no church for me...but, I have to go teach sunday school..Well that is it for now.

Jay, no comments about my pictures? I am really hurt!

Aww Michele, {{hugs}} to your daughter. Poor thing. How many days is she into this thing now? It should break soon...Of course with her ears hurting, sounds like a trip to gets some meds is in order. So sorry.

Michele, so sorry to hear that your DD isn't feeling well. I agree with Jennifer though, sounds like she needs meds for that one. Maybe she is getting an ear infection to top off all of her illnesses. I do hope she feels better soon.

Mmmmm...pancakes were yummy! I saved a few for you Jennifer! One more plus for Girl Scouting...dd is becoming quite the cook and can make a meal just as well over a campfire as she does in the kitchen!

Well, we told the kids about the sniper this morning. They will hear about it at school tomorrow and I would rather tell them the truth now and be here to answer their questions than let them hear the "kid version" tomorrow with no parental support. They were ok. Wanted to know if Halloween was going to be cancelled!!! LOL! Kid priorities!! I told them I didn't know but we would have all of their friends here for a biiiig Halloween party if the actual event was cancelled. That seemed cool to them. I also told them not to be afraid if they were not allowed outside tomorrow and they saw more policemen at their schools...that this is a grownup's way of making US feel better!! Don't want them lliving in fear here, but to say nothing I think would be a big mistake. DS thinks it stinks that they won't have recess! It does! I promised to deliver some new games to his class tomorrow so they can still have fun...just inside. He is making his list of "cool games". So what do ya'll think? Anything else I should tell them or do? This is so hard...there is no instruction manual for this!

Gonna go decorate the house for Halloween. Anybody else think it's ironic to be making the house MORE spooky?? Life is strange.

Morning everyone. Just a quick note before heading out. DW wants to go out for breakfast, then it's a stop by the grocery store. I'm still trying to catch up on those 10 pages from last night. I've skimmed parts, but obviously need to read more. Michele's pics... Jeannie's tidbit... that sort of thing. I think I saw them last night, but I was so tired my brain didn't comprehend them.

Thanks for your thoughts on my computer problems. Bad part is, it's not getting better anytime soon. Got a fluff email Fri saying they don't really see a problem, but have "heard reports" of issues. Looks like a long road ahead..... But that's really trivial compared to other things, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Ok... breakfast calls. Besides, I wanna get back in time for football & racing. Talk w/ y'all in a bit!

Oh Jodie, it sounds as if you said just the right things to your kids today. It made me feel better. I am so jealous that you had pancakes. I could smell them all the way up here in Ohio.

Michele, it does sound as if DD may need to visit the doctor. I do hope she starts to feel better today.

Poor Jay, he is having so many computer problems. I know DH gets so frustrated at the computer. And there is nothing that can be done to help. I am sending you my best wishes that you can get some work done today. Wait a minute, that isn't fair to DW. Let me ammend my wish. Hope you can get what you need to to do today in a timely manner and then go spend some quality time with DW. Got to watch what was in those cookies of Jennifer's.

I do hope you feel better Elaine. Maybe you can cuddle up next to Luis while he is watching football today? I am sure he won't mind.

I am going to celebrate my nephew's 1 year old birthday today. I went to Toys R Us with DS yesterday. Can't say that I have been there in a few years. They had remodeled the store that I once knew like the back of my hand. DS kept walking around and saying they didn't have this when I was little. That is not fair. It was kind of fun seeing the little boy come out. Anyway, I wasn't sure what to get him because big brother is 3 and they already have all the boy toys so I got him the Little Tikes table that has drawers and two chairs. DS, the godfather, bought him the starter set of Thomas the Train. DS is godfather to both boys and he started Brio for 3 year old and didn't want to mix them up but wanted to get them stuff that is similar. So Auntie will be partying away this afternoon.

The weather is still crisp here also. The leaves in the woods behind us are starting to change. Next weekend might be the peak for southern Ohio. May have to take a drive to the hills to appreciate God's coloring book.

Will be checking in on and off until I leave. Everyone take care.

Well, guess what I'm supposed to be doing right now? Online traffic school. This really like sucks... can I say that here? EIGHT hours!! I have to do this stupid online course for EIGHT hours!! Jay, as far as I know we don't have any planned picture taking spot yet. I'm almost afraid to ask what your idea is.
