Hi all!!! I hope all is well with everyone. I guess I am going to be the mean one and have to disagree... if we go with midnight then we have to make it midnight pacific time... that means 3 am is the cutover time for us "easterners". Both Jay & Kim are behind us so making the last word of the night at midnight for them would only be 11 & 9 pm for them. Actually I think that make sense for us "late nighters" who don't get to be until slightly after midnight

Jodie, I am so sorry to hear your little one is sick too I hope everyone has a healthy household soon

Okay I am just goofing off wasting time. I don't wnat to be here today at work and yesterday was such a killer for me. So I have some stuff to do today but I won't need to rush. I just have to decide if I want a sandwich from the deli downstairs or eat some ravioli in a can I have.

I also am going to get my hair cut & dyed today at a professional. My hair grows quick and the roots are already beginnign to show. I love my color and know that even though I will dye with the same color I won't get the same results so I'll lt them play with it, plus I think I want to lighten it just a tad. I might get some layers put in my hair but I want to keep it long. So that is what I get to look forward to today

Lunch sounds good. Elaine, I would go for the deli sandwich over the ravioli. I'm surprised the girls aren't screaming they are hungry yet!

Have fun getting your hair cut and colored. I am ready to whack all of mine off. The last couple times I have been in, I just haven't been happy with the results.

Jodie, I know...yesterday we had to go shopping. Poor dd was screaming by the time we were done. Promptly fell asleep on the way home. Hope ds is feeling better soon!

Um... well, I've been known to be up at that time. After all the first time I talked to Kim, I believe the phone call was made just after midnight EST and finished 200 minutes later

Yes, I will post pics tonight as soon as I get home I just hope it comes out okay because I am giving them free reign (more or less) on my hair. As long as I don't lose too much lenght on the back I won't mind (and no bangs either).

Well....I won't be up that late. I value my sleep too much. But I wouldn't miss an important phone call at any time!

I'm really tired today. Haven't been sleeping well. DD has been crawling in bed with us at night and I just don't sleep good. I think I may go take a short nap.

Ladies and Gentleman!!!!

I need 2 weeks of Pixie Dust, Prayers, Good Thoughts or Whatever!

As some of you may know, my DH gave his 2 week notice to a small consulting company. He got a 6 month contract with the state of Florida that may lead to another 6 month and then a 2 year contract. But he is the contractor so there is no middle man to get the extra money. We had to do this because of the finances. Anyway, he was told by the personel lady that our health/dental/vision benefits would end at the end of the month. We have applied for our own insurance using the November 1 as the start date. Are you following me?

OK, today is his last day as an employee of the company (incidently they have asked him to do 10 hours/week consulting for the New York client that he has been working with for the last 10 weeks, as a contractor, DH said of course. We need the money) Ok now for the BAD PART.

They just called him before lunch and told him that our health insurance stops tonight at midnight but the dental/vision is good until the end of October.

Please send good thoughts that none of us will need any type of medical care for 2 weeks. We are stuck. The new insurance only starts on the 1st and 15th and we missed the 15th. I am so nervous. Steve is driving to Florida this weekend and I hate taking this risk. I need all of you praying for us to be healthy the next two weeks.

Sorry to bring the thread down but I know that I can depend on all of you.

We have just had too much stress lately and at times I need to let loose. I guess that is why I love the fantasy's that we have here.

I have to pass on the wheelchairs. Never want to be in one again. Our 2000 trip to WDW had me in one for the entire trip. I mostly rented an ECV so that I would not feel like a burden with everyone else. I think I used that think 8 out of the 10 days we were there. I had Frieberg's Disease and the doctor said that normally after about 6 weeks in a cast and staying off the foot as much as possible that it would be fine. Well, 7 months later I was still in the cast and I didn't want to cancel our last family trip so I went knowing that I had to stay off the foot as much as possible.

FYI: Frieberg's Disease normally happens in female around the ages of 12-14. For some unknown reason the circulation in toe stops and the pain is awful. The treatment is isolating the foot and staying off it as much as possible. Then for some unknown reason the circulation starts up again. Of course I fit the description to a tee and it took doctors 2 months to figure out what was wrong with me. Then I got it in another toe(another seldom seen thing) and I didn't always stay off the foot (you think that I would ever stay down for a long time) and the fact that I am diabetic made the recovery very very long.

So I will take pictures at the finish line of the winner!!!! And I don't want to see any obscene jestures or tongues sticking out OR BOOGERING. (Did you hear that Bonnie)

First...here is my thought on the nightly cut off. If we make it 5am EST.. then that's 2 am for pacific folks and before may wake up here in the east.

Betty, I'll be crossing my fingers for you these next 2 weeks! Same thing happened to us, only we were, unknowingly, uninsured for 6 months! BC/BS said they initiated individual coverage for use when dh's company fied chapter 11. THen 6 months later, 1 week before Ed started his new job, they sent me us a letter saying we were not covered unless we paid them $2,000, because we weren't really covered even though they said we were covered.....anyones head spinning yet? Any hooo, we spent 2 weeks holding our breath until the new insurance kicked in. Turned out ok. It will for you guys too! Here's a little extra pd though ~*~*~*~**~*~~*~*~**~*~**~*~*~

So....what kind of work does everyone do? I'm a preschool teacher, 18 months. Then I do movement (exercising) for all the preschool on Wednesdays. I only work 4 days! On Monday, I volunteer at the girls schools!
