So we'll hit the bridal stores and check it all out. My wedding dress was hand made by my cousin. It was still a little expensive compared to what it could have been because we bought lace from Puerto Rico and my entire gown was covered in lace

Jennifer, I think you need to rest yourself. Sorry you are still in pain but I understand why you won't be taking the muscle relaxers yet. Will your DH be home soon?

Dream, I'd love a TGIF smoothie (or halleluia it's Friday at last smoothie as you called them) you have there!

Elaine, I have to agree with Jodie here... you must be one strong woman! Those things are heavy! I could barely walk down the aisle in my dress... I felt like I was dragging a 100 lb. weight everywhere I went that night.

Jennifer, Wish I'd known about the Chinese offer... I just had a hamburger that DH brought up for me.

Thanks for smoothie Jodie! I could use it. I'm fighting a headache tonight. I spent the day with Cam's class. They had a field trip today. Making sure you have all those little "angels" present and accounted for is so exhausting. I lost track of how many times I counted heads. Ugh... do I dare take an Excederin this late in the day? The caffeine would probably have me up all night.

Kimmie, drink up those smoothies, they might help that headache. We could always get you something stronger if you needed it I do recommend Aleve though. It does wonders. Speaking of which I think I might hit the ibuprofen again... or look for something like it for my back. It is getting rather stiff. Oh and don't worry, my back will survive

LOL! What a pathetic group we are! Headaches, backaches, shoulder pain. Geesh! What a way to spend a Friday night. I'm already wondering when I can go crawl into bed without DH thinking I'm a total slug. I guess I should at least wait till it's dark out. Sigh.

Aleve huh? I don't think I have any. Something stronger would be WONDERFUL Elaine...wish I had something like that, but I don't. Well, unless you count the homemade Kahlua (sp??) in the cupboard. Hmmm... not a bad idea.

Glad to hear your DH is coming home soon Jennifer. Now you can take some of those relaxers to relieve some of that pain!

You're so right about those bus rides!!! Thankfully today didn't require one, (it was within walking distance) but it was still a long and BORING day.

Good morning you creaky old fogies (and junior fogies!) Hope everybody feels better this morning!! Sorry I never got back to ya'll last night but I ws too busy giggling with dd about the dance!! Heehee! We giggled until midnight! Jennifer, dd is in the 6th grade and her Middle School has dances 4 or 5 times a year. This was her first! She had a blast! Sounds like it was very well chaperoned and there were girls sent home for not being within the dress code so I'd say they run a tight ship!! That makes this "hovering Mom" feel better. Most of the 6th graders just "hang out" and gawk at the older kids.. but they do dance some. Two boys asked dd to dance...she was thrilled! Sigh....one more "rite of passage". Hey Kim....pass that oil ya used on your walker please? Mine needs some work and I am feeling very "old" this moning. / / /

Jr. Pathetic Patrol??? I like the way that sounds... that's kind of the way I feel today. Back is okay. I have a chair massager going with the heat so it should be good as new anytime soon. My arms are SO SORE though! I guess carting around wedding dresses like that really worked them out yesterday!

Jennifer, I do like the word of the day. Pathetic really seems to be fitting. How are your aches & pains going today?

Jodie, it sounds like your DD had a wonderful time at her dance. I remember the days of those dances like that. Good to know that the chaperones were so strict about everything as I bet that would make me feel better too knowing that.

Sounds like she had a blast Jodie!!! I can't wait to giggle with my girls until midnight!! Last night was the homecoming game so Paige saw her first homecoming court. She thought the queen was quite pretty, and giggled when she told me the homecoming king was a "football player!"

Glad you like the title Elaine! Hey how about sharing that chair massage thing!?!?! Not feeling much better yet, but no worse either. Going to get some groceries this morning then plant myself on the couch with a heating pad. The real bummer is that I designed a Jesse (toy story) sweater for Emily (at her request) and I can't work on it until my shoulder heals Guess it'll be a DVD, DIS afternoon.


SO if Kim isn't up soon, who gets to go over with the shaving cream!?!
