"The Ditch"

I had the margarita flight there back in November... if you can't decide which drink to order, this is the way to go! After I tried them, I liked the avocado one so much I ordered a full-size one to go! :rolleyes1

When I went there on December 11th in the evening, ope of the bartenders told me that they stop selling this margarita flight after 4pm.

Explanation of the term "The Ditch" as a nickname for this place comes from the fact that "Cava" translates on some online Spanish/English dictionaries to "ditch or excavation" and "Excavation of Tequila" is too hard to say after you've had a couple of shots. I think they were going for "cave" though.

I figured it was because if you drink too many youll wind up in the ditch! :rotfl2:

Somehow I know I will never remember this place by its real name!

So Glad I found this thread! :cool1:
in 19 day we are heading down for an adult girls trip and we are huge Margarita fans! Everything looks amazing! And about the $12...by the looks of those margarita's you might only need 1 :rotfl2:

Hmmm...good question. They serve food, so I bet it's considered a restaurant, so they let in underage peeps. Hope so, because DD is 5.5 and won't pass for 21. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Too funny!

I really must check this place out - will drag DH if I have to, or "Ditch" him, then duck in. :thumbsup2

Actually in this context it means "cellar" as in "wine cellar." So, "tequila cellar."

It also means "sparkling white wine" (it's what Spaniards call champagne that's not from Champagne) and as a verb it means "he/she digs."

"Cave" is cueva.

But "The Ditch" sounds cooler. I think we'll stick with that. :cool2:

Oh boy here is another must have!!!
And we only are going to be in WDW for 10 days. Never enough time.:rotfl:

Wow, I never knew that place existed! It's on my list for October for sure!

I LOVE this thread!!! Very very cool! I have an ADR one evening for San Angel I wonder if I can order the margarita flight? I love the Tostadas de Jaiba...my fav! I always get it as my appy. This trip I plan on getting the Tostadas de Jaiba and Tinga as my entree, and flan for dessert. Those margaritas for taste testing would be wonderful!

How much is the margarita flight? I didn't see it on the menu.

I want that margarita flight ... even though I'm pretty sure we tried all of those back in October. I just think it's cool ... and it wasn't available when we were there so now I want it ... just because! :rotfl2:

The Ditch is awesome, but beware .... time plays tricks on you there! :lmao:
