The Disney Visa Card - worth the investment?

you get 10 percent off dining a espn, Cape may Cafe, Biergarten, and big river Grille. So it is nice if you stay at one of the boardwalk resorts.

Thanks so much for this info! I had no idea there was a Disney Visa discount for Cape May.

We had the free card for years and loved it. The upgraded card came out and I didn't upgrade because I am cheap, well a year went by and they sent a statement of the money we would have received if we had upgraded... yeah I was aggravated. We received a small gift card to upgrade but it is worth it. I charge as much as possible and get around $800 Disney Dollars a year to put towards a trip.

Disney visa sent out an email to tonight with a refer a friend code so I'd be on the lookout if your looking to make some extra Disney dollars! The friend gets a 200 dollars Disney visa after a 500 dollar purchase and you get 50 dollars on your account. Hope this helps :) (I have a code if anyone is interested. I'm not sure if that's against the rules!)

I recently was approved for the Disney Premier Visa and just received a $100.00 gift certificate! I see many of you received much more. :( I guess it must have been a special program at the time. I guess it's better than nothing!

We have had ours a few years, we have the no fee one and got it when they offered a $200 card and while not the best rewards card, we enjoy it for early access to deals as well as the gift cards earned. We had a large amount for our DL trip last year and planned a somewhat last minute trip this year. We have been using and paying that card off non-stop and are close to $300 in gift cards. They always come in handy for our souvenirs!

We have the premier Visa card, and have done very well on our return over the $49 yearly fee.

I have had the regular DV for years. It has been great! However now I have the SW card and get free flights. This seems to work better for our family of 5. We will all fly free next summer. Saving much more this way.

Yep. We started out with the no-annual-fee one, and we were getting anywhere from $300-500 per year for our Disney trips. Did a little simple math, and figured out that for $49, we'd nearly double that amount yearly. No brainer to upgrade, plus we got the $200 statement credit. I'm totally against paying an annual fee for a card, but in this circumstance, it's a winner.

We pay it off at the end of every month.
