Hi everyone

We have just returned to the UK from our 2 week Disney vacation. We go every year and usually stay at the Polynesian but this year we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House)

We love going Disney and go once a year but i sometimes go more often, i do the run Disney marathon weekend and as of next year (2026) im planning to do the odd 5/6 night stay 2 or 3 times a year (Although this will mainly be at an all stars resort or perhaps Pop/Art)

Whilst buying up meals and merch around the park we noticed we were always being asked of we had any DVC or annual pass holder discount. This got us thinking, should we perhaps look into becoming a annual pass holder (Or at least me becoming one and family remains as a 14 day ticket pass as and when needed)

Ive come back to the UK to find were only eligible for the "Incredi-pass". this would somewhere in the region of £1250 which for the number of visits i hope to make would be extremely good value for money for me. the thing is, it appears that whilst UK citizens can purchase this pass, it can only be done so from the parks in America (Unless im missing something)

Im struggling to find out all the T&Cs with regards fees, renewal process, my exact entitlements and also just how much discount i can get and where.

Is there anyone who has one of these passes who could perhaps provide me a first hand account of their experiences and if any UK person has one thats reading this, how did you apply for yours and how have you found using it from this side of the pond?

Thank you everyone for your time and i really would appreciate any help and advice people can share in this

I have an Incredipass at the moment but I live in the US.

First off this pass has no black out dates.

Discounts can be up to 20% off for park merchandise and at actual Disney run stores at Disney Springs.

Discounts for food are a little different. Usually it's 10% if it's offered where you are dining. If they don't ask, you can ask them. Under dining on Disney.go.com, individual restaurants sometimes will indicate if they offer the AP discount.

At times there are also some room discounts. These will vary and will be available through the regular booking Disney website - these may be available at Allstars, Pop, or Art of Animation (the resorts you mentioned above) but you would have to check it out to see if you can book an AP discount when you are actually going. It may or may not be available on what you want at the time you want it. There are different levels of room discounts such as 30% off for deluxe and less off (maybe 15%) for Pop or Allstars. It's a variable thing with no set timing other than 'Disney may have rooms it needs to sell'.

Another perk is free parking at the theme parks if you rent a car. This comes in handy for people who may stay offsite at a non Disney resort.

As far as buying the pass, I'll leave that for another member who may have experience with utilizing the pass as a UK person.

I can't speak to being a UK passholder, since I'm in the states, but if you're planning 2 or 3 5-6 day trips, you should come out even or slightly ahead on tickets alone, depending on the timing.

And the resort discounts can be significant. I have two 7 day/8 night trips planned for the spring and I was able to get room discounts at the All Stars for each trip with total savings between the 2 stays of about $900, which is slightly more than half the cost of my pass renewal. Once I price out park hoppers for those 2 trips, I'm saving a ton of money by having the pass.

You can also do the PhotoPass add on for $109 USD, which will give you (and anyone traveling with you) all your park photos and all your runDisney photos (up to 5 bib numbers per race)

I have an incredi-pass but also live in the US. I usually go for 8-10 days and because I have an AP, I make sure I go at least 2x a year before my pass expires, so I avg somewhere around 20 days. I usually always get a room-only discount for a deluxe room. Wish my mom would also get an AP but we tend to use my pass for all the discounts on dining and merch. My only annoyance is my renewal is August and I'm debating about not renewing and just getting a new AP for either the Christmas season or Spring.

The Incredipass is not necessarily cheaper than the 14 or 21 day passes available to UK guests if only doing a single trip. Where you start to gain an advantage is if you are doing multiple short trips over the course of the year. You have to do the math to calculate ticket costs and inclusions and compare.

If it’s close, then the pass will be a good option since the free parking (if staying at an offsite villa) and the dining and merchandise discounts will boost its value. The room discount is nice if staying onsite, but it’s only a bit better than the discounts available to the general public, maybe 5% more, so not a huge savings.

Note, you can get one pass and apply the discounts for everyone in your travel party, but generally the passholder has to be the one to “pay” for the discounted item. ie, you have to charge it to your room if onsite, use your credit card or gift card, etc. Sometimes the cast member will let you show your passholder status and let someone else pay, but they’re not supposed to. Not a big deal if traveling with immediate family, but harder if traveling with friends.

Another US person with an Incredi-Pass here so I cannot answer your UK-specific questions, however, since this is something I don't think any other poster has mentioned, the renewal price of the Incredi-Pass is a 15% discount off the regular price. I would hope that this still applies to a non-US Incredi-Pass purchaser, but I don't know for sure.

It's something to keep in mind because since this AP now costs a lot, 15% off a lot is significant.

The big downside (or upside!) to having an AP is that I schedule more trips than I otherwise would and JetBlue doesn't give me an AP!

Renewal prices do apply for international passholders.

If having trouble seeing pass info on the WDW website from outside of the US, use a VPN set to a US city and make sure you are on the US version of the website. Internationally, the content is very different.
