Hi! Total dining plan/ADR newbie here. I finally was able to get the family to sit down so we could discuss dining.

We'll be driving to WDW from CT. We're leaving the day after Thanksgiving (11/26) and we'll be arriving at our hotel hopefully sometime after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (11/28). It'll be me, DH, DD (12) and DS (8):

Sunday 11/28
Tutto Italia (World Showcase - Epcot) at 7:20 p.m.

Monday, 11/29
Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom) at 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, 11/30
Biergarten (World Showcase - Epcot) at 7:10 p.m.

Wednesday, 12/1
50's Prime Time Cafe (DHS) at 5:50 p.m.

Thursday, 12/2
'Ohana (Polynesian) at 10:20 a.m. (Chef Mickey's was booked)

Friday, 12/3
Raglan Road (Downtown Disney) at 8:15 p.m.

Anything I need to fine-tune? Thank you in advance! You don't know how helpful you have been in the past!! :goodvibes

The only thing that I would question is, will you have enough time to check in and make it Tutto in Epcot for your 7:20pm reservation, if you arrive after 5pm? If you arrive around 5/5:30 then you should be fine, but by 6pm you may be pushing it, especially with having to rush after having been in the car for a long while.
Otherwise, sounds great to me.:goodvibes

Thank you so, so much for responding!! I was a bit concerned about the 7:20 reservation at Tutto, too! :)

If you have your heart set on Tutto and you're pretty sure you can make it, then I would keep the reservation for now. You should know by Sunday morning (or even Saturday evening) if you're on schedule. If you are, :woohoo:, and if not then you can call and cancel the reservation so that someone else can use it.

Happy planning!

Sara

Your ADR's look great! :thumbsup2

I would also be a bit concerned about the time for Tutto Italia, but like the pp said, it can be cancelled if you know it won't work. I think you're better off to keep it until you know for sure, in case you are running a bit ahead of schedule :)

You've booked a lot of the places that we'll be going to in February. I have never been to Raglan Road, but the rest are great choices! I'm sure Raglan Road is too. For me, I have to go to T-Rex for my son's sake. I also want to try Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD.

You will have a fantastic time. That's a perfect time of year to go... talk about a fun way to start off the holiday season!:santa:

I'm jealous... I don't get to go for another 3 months after that!:scared1:

Thank you!! :goodvibes DH is Irish and DD has been taking Irish step-dancing lessons for four years, so they're very excited for Raglan Road (Especially the entertainment).

Have a wonderful time on your trip as well!!

Your ADR's look great - you have some good ones lined up.

The only thing I would consider would be switching your 1st day dinner with your last day dinner - depending upon what park tickets you bought. You'll be using a park pass to go to EPCOT for only a few hours, whereas if you do EPCOT your last day you can spend all day there. But then again, it's in Nov/early Dec so maybe the park will be closed by your times anyway :confused3

Barring park times, going to DTD your first night for your Ragland dinner, it would not require using one of your park day passes to go there. Just a thought....

Have a great trip!

I was looking at Raglan Road but a friend said it was really noisy? Hubby loves Irish music..do they have it all day?

I'm under the impression that Raglan Road has entertainment during the evening only, but I could be wrong. Friends of ours suggested that we make a reservation for after 8:00 p.m., so we'll be there when the entertainment is in "full swing".

Thank you!! See? This is what I'm talking about!! We have 6-day Park Hoppers. I asked DH before I made the reservation at Tutto Italia if he really wanted to "waste" a Park Hopper the first night (Sunday, 11/28). If I read the WDW website correctly, Epcot will be closing at 9:00 p.m. on the 28th. Now, here is my question (And thank you for baring with me as I am totally clueless about this!): At 9:00 p.m., do they kick everybody out (:rotfl: "Get out! Out!") or do they make allowances for the "lolly-gaggers" (People finishing dinner, shopping, etc.)?

Disney front loads their tickets so from the fourth day on tickets only cost about $3 a day so it's only costing you $3 to be in Epcot for dinner your first night...and you'll probably even get to see IllumiNations.

Because of the Candlelight Processional, IllumiNations will start at 9:30 that night and you'll probably be finished with dinner so you'll be able to see it. Regardless of what time the park closes, they won't chase you out. The attractions will be closed, but you can still shop at the MouseGear store and walk around and enjoy the park. Now, if you're still there at midnight they might ask you to leave. :)
