The Disney Catalog a wonderful way to shop for Disney merchandise

Before ShopDisney was launched there was The Disney Catalog and they were so wonderful to get in the mail and look at the newest merchandise that they offered and some were exclusives to the catalog while the rest of the merchandise could be found at Disney Stores and The Disney Catalog used to offer preorders for movies that came with a watch and lithograph and later sometimes plush characters were offered. I don't know why The Disney Catalog went belly up but they were the top catalog for Disney merchandise and do you think a new improved version of The Disney Catalog could be brought back today? My mom and I used to enjoy getting these catalogues in the mail and that's where Mom used to buy her snowglobes from all the time

We loved getting the Disney catalog. We used to order so much more than we do now with the online store.

Do you have the original ones or did you toss them? I wonder if anyone ever set these aside.

I remember getting a Disney Home Goods flyer at one time many years ago. You could buy resorts linens, pillows, etc

We never got the catalog, but my grandma did. Us cousins would huddle on the couch dreaming of all the cool toys and plushes in there.

I miss catalog shops. Sears and JC Penney were catalog shops for years.

To be fair at this point I just screenshot things and say "look how pretty!" and hope she gets the hint

I think Disney should revive The Disney Catalog and the new version would be Disneyland/Walt Disney World Official Catalog and what it would sell would be the parks exclusive merchandise and it would be a big winner for Disney fans who can't make it to the parks but have the chance to buy the merchandise right from the catalog at home. In addition this new catalog would offer exclusive movie pre-orders with gifts and offer goods such as toys home decor clothing for adults and children and juniors and exclusive items such as art signed Disney celebrity photos and seasonal items and seasonal catalogues would be sent showing merchandise for Halloween Easter Christmas and 4th Of July with things like Halloween costumes Christmas decor and Easter decor and summertime themed 4th Of July decor and it would be a giant success if this new version of The Disney Catalog were to be revived

Print media is dying, so Disney reviving a mailed catalog isn't going to happen.

Print ads are too expensive compared to online. The Sunday news paper was HUGE, Thursday's was a full of groceries ads. No more. That is why newspapers have gone broke.

An online market place /website is easy to produce, maintain, update .
Sorry, catalogs are not coming back.
