I sort of had the opposite happen the other week. I kept looking but there was not any CL availability at YC/BC with the AP discounts. Then much closer the trip they finally released CL rooms with the discounts. The prices were 35% off. I checked again about 2 weeks before trip at YC had tons of availability still in all rooms categories and the discount had increased to 40% off. Day before our trip the hotel still seemed to have to a lot of availability under the discount and I will say that CL did not seem that busy.
