THE DISBOUTIQUERS IN 3-D: A Pictorial Trip Report of a Dismeet

I forgot how cold I was: I was sooooo cold!

Goodness, my child is a goofball isn't she?

I forgot to do a sewing machine picture, and take a picture of Megan's minnified hoodie: yay for Cathy!

See I went back to see if I missed any posts while I was posting and I found these....I hope I got them all.....if not, please don't be mad at me....

See it's things like this that make me glad God has only blessed me with one child!!! 24 outfits???? I'd need ativan to help me through that anxiety attack!
Well, yes, I don't have to make all 24 but I will attempt it over the next 9 months. The girls are at that magical age and it really is fun to make them. They helped me pick out themes and fabrics and styles...it should be great!

OK...I read really fast and I'm all caught up. Stacy was wrong...we are in this picture! See the two people sitting down with grey sweathshirts facing the turnstiles. Yup, that's me and Stacy!

Anyway, you got some GORGEOUS shots. What kind of camera are you sporting these days??? Weren't you complaining about your camera during the fireworks? Those are great pics!
OHHHHHHH, I see you both!!! There you are! Weren't you surprised at how empty it was. Yeesh, it was packed 45 minutes early in the summer...!
My camera is a pentax Optio S5z...whatever that means...its only a $200 digital camera but good enough I suppose.

I see Kristine and Stacy now! We were all so close all day long without even knowing it!

Sounds like a bunch of great fabric! I never have any idea how much I will need of what so I just get 2-3 yards.
Wasn't that cool I got them in the pic?
I was afraid to buy 2/3 yds (I usually do that) and have too much of something and not enough of something else. I just hope I can get this all done by Oct. I would like to do some more Big Give outfits too. I really have trouble getting my "chores" done and doing stuff with the kids and having time/energy left to sew....kwim?

I do! I actually remember you mentioning Saran Wrap and a blow dryer! That cracked me up. :rotfl:
hahahaha that was really how hot it felt like! :rotfl2:

I forgot how cold I was: I was sooooo cold!

It was chilly...I was glad of a fleece....help yourself to the pics...can you right click and save? :3dglasses And Megan was delightful and energetic...my daughters would LOVE her!!!! I hope we can do another meet!:lovestruc

Empty???? Ya, no. I found it overwhelmingly packed. I'm a Sept Disney visitor. In my last report I have pics of Aisling an hour after the park opened and she's the only person in the picture!!! Stacy was telling me that when she came, she couldn't MOVE at rope drop.

The good thing is that this trip prepped me for October's trip when I know it's going to be packed. It's not even value season.

It was much lighter rope drop that the one that we went to at the end of May, but I was expecting it to be practically empty in February.

Kristine and I kept saying "don't you people know it's February- and we are in a recession! You are not supposed to be here!"

I thought it was soooooo much worse (crowdwise) than I expected.

Stephes, Jessica52877, Cathy, SoHappy (Stacy) and Tinkrbll655 or something close to that, Kristine.

Going like up, down, up, down, up. Did that make sense?

Awww thanks...it is fun to write a report cause you get to relive the whole experience!!!

So cool to put a face with a name! Thanks, guys! It looks like you had a great time!

I know I am posting tons of pics...as you can see...the quality of the pics steadily declines into the evening! I want to see your pics too....where are they?????

Seeee you guessed right....!

OK people in the pic are....front row, left to right, Jessica and Stacy. Back row is Steph, me and Kristina! :thumbsup2

Hey, Jessica - I'm following long with your trippie too!

Hey...Rootskate...I remember you from my last TR about 2 years ago!!! Hello again!!! :cheer2: Do you like meat? It would be awful if you are a vegetarian...hahahaha:rotfl: Everything was sooo yummy! So when are you returning to Disney?

I remember you too! You do great trip reports!
We will be going in May. I am taking my Dad! My DH opted to sit this one out since we just went in October. :happytv:

We will be there the same time!

Yaaaa Corey you go kid!!! Your mom was singing his praises, and rightly so...I wish we could have all met. I am hoping this Feb dismeet becomes an annual thing....maybe next year???? :confused3

He's a wonderful kid! Mom was bragging about him?? :lovestruc
He arranged his schedule so that he would be taking slightly easier classes in May when we go on vacation. When I said something to him about maybe going in February instead he about had a heart attack! :scared1: So, I dropped that idea!

We didn't ride Splash Mountain because it was too stinkin' cold! Plus, you know, the whole see-through pants incident scarred me for life.

Yes, we went to Tom Sawyer's island! The kids loved it!

It sounds like your'e as good at Buzz Lightyear as I am! :rotfl:

I would love to just take my time and browse the stores and sights of Main Street. One of these days I'm going to do that!

That hot tub looks fantastic!! It reminds me of the pool at the house we rented in Hawaii. Wait a minute, I don't think that's a hot tub, is it?

Great idea to get a taxi! What luxury!

Wow!! That is so cool that Stacy and Kristine are in your picture!!!

I recognize the look on Steph's face. That's the same look she had the whole time in Michigan. It means "I'm really cold!" :lmao:

Oh man, now I regret not going to Spectro and Wishes with you! It looks like you had such a nice time together!

WHAT???? The mom's panelists got to stay overnight in the castle??? They walked through MK in their JAMMIES???? I AM SOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!!!

Mom and I were saying the same thing! It was way more crowded that when we came in Feb. '06.

You have to get some kind of award for fastest trip writer around!
I'm loving all the pictures of everything!
I'm looking forward to being right in the middle of all the places you've shown in less than 30 days!

I know that you were missing your kids 'on that magic night', and it will be very special when you are all standing in Magic Kingdom together.

Thanks for the report and all of the awesome pictures! I spent the morning catching up on everything, and it was quite a nice way to start my Tuesday!!! :)

We interupt this trip report for some late breaking news......

Alice has let me know info about her famous shoes :rotfl2:

Here you go....
they are patagonia's. I know they were going to discontinue making women's casual shoes for next season & go back to making hiking shoes again...so check them out online! I would checkout zappos or just try pantagonia...
I had tried on privos, tevas, and clark's before I went w/these! make sure you get ntural/real leather b/c the synthetics will make your feet stink & sweat! I had no skinky feet w/real leather!
patagonia is having a winterfest sale! feb 10 to 19!
here is the website they are the "poppy" shoes:
http://www.patagonia.com/web/us/pro...catcode=MAIN_SP_US.CLOTHING_GEAR.WOMENS.SHOES

So there you go... :thumbsup2 Now back to our regularly scheduled trip report!

Oh you are spoiled...I am used to the crowded hot summer crowds. You can't move an inch...it was like Main Street during Wishes, but everywhere...just ridiculous crowds. Will Oct be that crowded? I guess it depends on when you go.

It was much lighter rope drop that the one that we went to at the end of May, but I was expecting it to be practically empty in February.

Kristine and I kept saying "don't you people know it's February- and we are in a recession! You are not supposed to be here!"

I was surprised by the groups actually...Kristine cracks me up...if the groups weren't there don't you think it would have seemed empty? In any case, other than trying to get to our Wishes spot, the people didn't bother me one bit....but that was my take on the situation :goodvibes

We will be there the same time!

Hey get that May dismeet going! So cool that Corey can arrange his classes...and cares enough about them to do so well. Can we photocopy him???? hahahaha
Oh yes, I was saying how much I like you and Heather and all the kiddos to your mom and she brought up all the grandkids too. I loved your mom! She was sooo sweet! And watching her with Sawyer and all the children....are you sure she isn't Mother Goose? They just flocked around her and had very good conversations! So cute! :cutie:

I have Steph's look on my face all winter....even now I have the heat upto 70 yet I am freezing. I am wearing two layers too
I agree about Splash Mountain...I wouldn't have minded a few splashes but there was a good chance of a complete and total dousing
You gotta read that "trip report" by DisneyJo. They bring the mom's panelist to Disney and give them the royal treatment. Amazing! :wizard: She wrote all about it...

HIIII Memom!!!!!! Thanks so much for coming over! Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
Oh yeah...I gotta get the whole thing done...I am very impatient like that. I have such limited time and I like to check things off my list. :rotfl:

GReat TR! Love the pictures of everyone together!!!!!
Hello!!! Thanks for reading! I still have two more days to go....I will hopefully have a moment to start the next day.

I am sorry it took me so long to start to read the trip reports. I just love seeing all the pictures and putting faces to names.

I think I have read of the secret spot but I am not prepared yet to meet God face to face so I won't ask yet.

DS and I will be spending our last two days at SSR and I am so happy you included pictures.

I think your report is wonderful and it makes me excited to go to Disney.

How cold is it at night?

How cold is it at night?

Cold enough to see your breath. Cold enough that you will be regretting the decision to wear capris and sandals :) But not so cold that some parents weren't allowing their children into the pool :confused3

But it was a particularly out of the ordinary cold week when we where there. Hopefully it's warmed up tremendously when you arrive!

Wow, you are almost done and I just got back from my trip! I love your TR! That room does look nice and big! Jayden looked cute in her CASE of your red Minnie dot pants! :lovestruc Thanks!

YAY!!! I'm loving it so far! It has nothing to do with the fact that I already got a shout-out. :rolleyes1
I barely got a glimpse of Alice at the meet. I think we scared her! :rotfl:
1) :snooty:
2) Alice was at the Dismeet? :confused3 I must've been too busy looking for my kids in 4 different directions.

Oh man, now I regret not going to Spectro and Wishes with you! It looks like you had such a nice time together!

:snooty: :sad1: :snooty:

Okay...funny story...slightly related...but not really...

When I married the first time to the person who shall remain nameless...we went to WDW for our honeymoon and we ran into the preacher that married us...again and again and again! I swear my parents paid them or something!:lmao:

See it's things like this that make me glad God has only blessed me with one child!!! 24 outfits???? I'd need ativan to help me through that anxiety attack!

Phew...I feel better now...I only have to make 21! :lmao:

The TR is great! I really love seeing the pictures of all you guys together!

I think from the pics you can probably figure out the spot!!! But I never told you!!! :rolleyes1 Glad you are excited about your trip...I know all the sewing you have been doing will really make the trip extra special. SSR is great...you'll love it! Thanks so much for reading along!!! :flower3:

OMGoodness....were they following you? that's funny!

Oh good...you can join me on the sewing binge I need to go on. I did start the stepsister top for DD10. She helped design it!

Unfortunately, I am getting sick so I am not going to be able to update tonight. But I will definately finish this by Sunday. I will hopefully post the morning of the Dismeet tomorrow as long as I feel better.
Blessings to you all!

Ooops...I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry!!! I wouldn't have missed our mini meet for anything! I was trying to remember why I didn't end up going to Spectro and Wishes!

Alice was with Cathy for a few minutes and then they took off to tour Epcot. When Cathy came back, Alice wasn't with her.

We've had a lot of sick kids around school. I guess a bunch of 'bugs' are waking up with the spring thaw.
Hope you don't get anything too bad and that you feel better soon!

Cathy, hope you aren't feeling so bad today. How is your daughter? And I have been meaning to ask for the past week, which one is it? I thought you said, but my mind was not working at all the beginning of the week!
