SS was really beautiful! Have you ever been there?Great report so far. Gald you have liked your stay at Saratoga so far. Keep it coming.
I thought I would really enjoy being away from the kids....but alas....that only lasted a few hours and then I spent the rest of the trip missing themYipee! It's like I was there...okay I'm pretending too!
It sounds great so far...sorry for the sickies!
I too long to walk down Main Street...family free to look at sutff...not in full stride dragging kids trying to keep up with DH!
I know what you mean...it was a battle between enjoying the parks, enjoying the nice resort and keeping myself and my friend running between the two!!!!Awww sorry to hear you were not feeling so well at this point. Hopefully you felt better after your nap.
(Now...I must say other than being sick, I don't see how a nap could be more enticing than touring the MK...hahahahahahaha)![]()
I was having lots of trouble last night too and ended up giving up.Hmmmmm....double post....and either my computer is really slow right now or its the board....is anyone else having trouble???`
Has anyone noticed how small the rental strollers are now? First they doubled the price. Now they are about 1/2 the size.
Most importantly...here are Alice's shoes!!!!!!!![]()

Did you take any pictures of all the cheerleaders?
Alice has Alice looking shoes! And, is she wearing a fanny pack???
I heard you were missing your babies something awful!!![]()
Yet another fun filled day!! I'm loving your report!
And, I didn't know you were a physics teacher!! That's one of Corey's best classes.
Oh what a great idea...I am thinking for our next trip to order some stuff and have it delivered to our house we are renting. I have to price it out. I did go to the store once and I am trying to remember if it was cheaper. Alice was with me then too so I will have to ask her if she remembers.Loving your trip report!!!!!!!! You guys look like you were having such a great time!
You might want to try www.minimus.biz next time you travel with check ons. They have all sorts of travel size items. I order my toiletries from them and a few snacks too-they have a huge selection of individual bowls of cereal. They have free shipping for orders over $20. They are on the west coast so I order 2 weeks before my trip and the box usually arrives a day or 2 before me.

Its so funny about that, cause I entered the flag pole area saying...."Steph....Steph....Steph...." and then I saw you!her shoes! They are just as cute as I remember!
Goodness I hope you feel better so children aren't parading around MK shouting "Cathy!" later on.![]()
Haven't rented in quite a while so I have not noticed how small they are, you used to be able to fit two small children in one, no way now!
I am loving how fast you are getting this done. I might just need to go and upload some pictures into photobucket and start mine.
I do that with my kids all the time! It works really well for us.Rather than buy the stuff, take a pic and enjoy it. Seriously.
I bought a MacLaren Volo single stroller for my youngest for our trip last May with just her & I. I knew she couldn't keep up with all the walking and staying at Pop I was afraid I'd be trying to carry her and my bag on those long walks to the bus stop at the end of the day when I was exhausted. I paid $75 for it online and we used it for our 2 week family trip in August so it was definitely cheaper than renting from Disney. It was really perfect for me because it is so light weight, has a shoulder strap for carrying, holds up to 55 pounds, the seat was big enough for DD, and the handles tall enough for me to easily push. I have no doubt that the Volo's seat is bigger than the new single strollers at WDW.I didn't know the strollers were smaller. Of course that was a pretty huge Mickey Mouse in there. Next time we go I will have to decide what to do about the strollers. My girls will be 6 and 4/almost 5. I am planning on spending 4 hours a day in the park...thats a LOT of walking. I would have to get them in tip top shape to be able to do it without a stroller. Problem is the double strollers cost an arm and a leg to rent.....more decisions.![]()
OK people....it's the last day of the sale going on at Joann's...and its either go now or never....so I am bravely taking the two kids who aren't sick with me while DH sits home with the one who is still recovering from pneumonia....poor thing...she doesn't even complain when she is "sick as a dawg"...but I am happier about the situation. The doctor said she is on the mend today.Long story short...I am going to finish this day today...just later today!!!!

Hey...Rootskate...I remember you from my last TR about 2 years ago!!! Hello again!!!What great pictures! 'Ohana looks really interesting. I definitely want to check that out next time around!
That is a great idea....there is supposed to be a stroller at the house we are renting but I have no idea what it is or if it is in good condition. I think there may even be a thread on the Dis for stroller shares. Has anyone ever tried that? It may only be for people who stay on property? Last time I went, Alice lent me her great double stroller. It was very lightweight and worked great. In any case I will probably end up with a stroller.I do that with my kids all the time! It works really well for us.

Good luck with your stroller decision.![]()
Well, I spent all weekend finishing up my planning of what outfits the girls were wearing. Then I figured out the yardage. I spent about $90 and gots lots of fabric too. Tom said I should start sewing now...its about 24 outfits and I am hoping to have a women on Etsy make three special outfits for the girls.I actually got to go yesterday! I was in no state of mind to be shopping. My head is just spinning (still) but I had to drop off stuff for a consignment sale right near Joann's. I also had to pick up some pirate fabric so had no choice.
So, $150 later and LOTS of fabric we came out! Lin was not amused, but I was. He just always asks what is it all for. I even left the brown polka dot on the shelf. This nice lady in line gave us her 10% off coupon. I felt bad since she only had one, she said she was only spending $4 though and knew we would save much more!
Thank you super nice lady in line!
Can't wait to hear what you got!
I didn't know you started this...subbing so I can go back and read properly!
