hello girls :goodvibes
hope you all have had a great weekend!! What a lovely weekend, plenty of sunshine and bbqs!! oh and the odd drink or 2, well that was me anyway!!!! :rotfl2:
i did try and watch what i had to eat and drink, so i am hoping for results this wednesday when i get on those scales! ;)
our dis dieters group is open to anyone who wants to join in and lose a few pounds/eat more healthily, so come on and join us, were here to give each other support and encouragement and advice! what are you waiting for you have nothing to lose, only pounds!!! :thumbsup2
if you have previously been on this thread,we'd love to see you again! :goodvibes were all here for the same thing!!
good luck everyone with your weigh-ins :)

I did actually lose a couple of pounds this week, very pleased as I really did try hard and I started going back to the gym. I have also bought the "Core Secrets" system, which is an aerobic ball with DVDs etc. will let you know if its any good in a couple of weeks. Keep upthe good work everyone,
Claire xx

I have restarted my schedule, after weeks of redecorating my kitchen and not being able to get near the freezer or fridge or cooker and having to live on takeaways I'm feeling very plumptious!
I'm really trying to eat healthily as when I just go for weight loss I go mad for 2 or 3 weeks then stop exercising and it just creeps back so I think I'll post what I'm eating rather than weight targets and loss.
at the mo my daily eats are around the following (allow for a few changes here and there)
breakfast - 100 ml greek bio yogurt with a handful of jordans crunch cereal and a sprinkling of either blueberries, cranberries or sunflower seeds.
lunch - wholemeal pitta bread with tuna & sweetcorn or chicken tikka & salad
2 pieces of fruit to snack
evening - low fat lasagne or salmon steak with veg

any thoughts or suggestions please :teeth:

Hello - I would like to join as I really need to shed some pounds before my holiday.

Hello everyone ~ I have stayed the same this week.

Good Luck everyone for the coming week.

 Welcome Chilly to the Dis and to the weekly health check :goodvibes

Well what i thought was a good week didn't turn out to be after all yet another 1lb on oh well must try harder
well done to those that have lost or stayed the same

DF 'forgot' to get wieghed and I put on 4lb :scared1:

I was expecting this, and perhaps even more but I am glad that my weight has moved as I am now more convinced I can jump start my loss again!

I lost 3 1/2 pounds over the past two weeks. Missed class last week and haven't been as good as I could have been but never mind.

Well done 'losers' :thumbsup2 Welcome to the DIS weight loss group, Chilly :wave2: Well done Carol for getting going again :)

Well, I have lost 4lbs this week (thank God :rotfl: ). I have practically starved myself this week to try and get shot of the weight I put on last week. I am going to try and lose another 3lbs this week, purely so I will only be a stone away from my target then (and also because next weekend is our ball so plenty of eating and drinking there lol)

Joh, you are doing so well, hope you have a great time at the ball Cinderella :thumbsup2

Thanks mate. Today has been a really good day. I had a meeting with 2 contractors from the UK, who haven't been out here for a while and both of them commented on how much weight I've lost (without any prodding whatsoever ;) ) Made me feel really good to think it's noticeable.

:) I have lost 3lbs this week!!
well done to the losers!
Jodie, muskateeer i'm sure you'll pull it back and be on track again. :goodvibes
welcome to our club chilly :goodvibes
carol your daily meals sounds good :thumbsup2
claire and kathryn well done to you!
Joh, well done also, you are really flying now!! :goodvibes

:cheer2: Woohoo !! At last I've lost another lb :cheer2:

Well done to all you 'Losers' out there. Don't despair to those of you that put on this week, it's just a little blip, and I bet you'll be back on track next week. I think the only reason I've lost this week is cos it's so hot and I can't be bothered to eat

:wizard: Good Luck for next week everyone :wizard:

I have lost 5lbs over the last 2 weeks :cool1: only another 69 to go :rotfl:

Well my diet started today but I forgot to weigh myself last night.

Breakfast was bad as I had a croissant but i've just had a small tuna salad for lunch however i'm still hungry!

I think I may have come to the right place for help with my weight here! I can't stand the price of weightwatchers/slimmers world but I really want to be slim and slinky for my holiday next year, not least so that i can eat a little more while i'm there and not worry about where it goes!

So yeah...my only problem is i'm currently a student living in halls over summer...i've been catered all year which has led to about a stone in weight gain (because they seem to insist on deep frying everything) and now im just becoming self catering on wednesday evening. At the minute im living on micro noodles and shop bought sarnies because i've just started a full time job and all my kitchen stuff for becoming self catered is with my parents (hence why I become self catered on wednesday when they bring it all up).

Seeing as I'm going to be having a change of regime I thought it would be a fab place to start a new diet off. I'm going food shopping in about 48 hours time, so any hints and tips on good foods to buy would be greatly appreciated!

Hi chilly :wave2: keep going , it is hard at first but you soon won't be feeling as hungry, make sure you have the odd treat so that you don't feel deprived.
