Hi everyone!
hope you all have a good week with your weight losses this week :)
don't forget to post any hints or tips on here, or anything that you do that helps you shift those pounds or get fitter!
:grouphug:

Weighed myself this morning and i've lost 2lbs :cool1:
just been drinking flavoured water and eating carrots
well done to everyone this week

am still not weighing as I get so depressed when I've been good and the scales don't show it, Have stuck to my healthy eating plan and am still having
breakfast: 100g bio yogurt, handful of jordans cereal and a sprinkling of either sunflower seeds, cranberries, nuts or blueberries.
snack: muesli bar and piece of fruit
lunch: wholemeal pitta, low fat filling, piece of fruit
dinner: either grilled chicken breast or fish (this is no sacrifice as I love fish!) with veggie stir fry and extra veg, a scoop of coleslaw.
evening snack: either peice of fruit, or a handful of nuts

I'm enjoying eating well and it has motivated me to fit about 3 or 4 good twenty minute evening walks into my schedule but I haven't felt any difference in my clothes yet
but onward and upward!

Well I had a great week and banned myself from choc & sweets for 7 whole days (except cereal bars and a slice of my neice's birthday cake on Sat.) As a result I've dropped 3lbs!! Really happy about that and it's inspired me to do the same this week, eating healthily and keeping the choc/sweets intake as low as humanly possible! need to finish off a piece of steak tonight before it goes off but not sure what to have with it, thinking just a simple baked potato with a bit of cheese.

Tip for you all - orange solero's are 0% fat and absolutely gorgeous. I love them anyway so they are no sacrifice and I get to eat an ice lolly in the heat! If you don't like them you could get some lolly makers and freeze fruit juice, yummy desert AND one of your 5 a day!

I have lost just the 1lb, however as last week I got it wrong by saying I had put on 4lb, I had actually put on 6lb :scared1: so technically I have put on 1lb :guilty:

Loving the Solero idea Sophie!

I also eats loads of ice lolly's, good for tricking your mind into thinking you have eaten and great in this heat :sunny:

:p

Well Ive lost the plot completly :sad2: I just dont have any motivation to diet at the moment, strange seeing as Im going to WDW in October, this time last year I was doing great and I can see that everything I lost is going to end up going back on, I have given my self until the end of June to get myself motivated again. So wish me luck. I will join you again girls as soon as I have got my slimming brain back into gear.

Good luck everyone, well done all the losers :thumbsup2

Hope you manage to regain your motivation Sue. I do know exactly how you feel, though. I think, having got to a weight that I am relatively happy with, I have lost the 'urge' to lose any more. Having told myself I would lose 3lbs this week, I have been pretty naughty over the weekend so I'll be lucky to stay the same come Wednesday, I think.

Sophie, you're doing well. One thing I will say about the Soleros is, although they're 0% fat, they are quite high in sugar. For anyone who's doing Slimming World, they are still 4 syns so, while not too bad, not 'free' either :sad2:

I am afraid I can't pass on any tips this week as I would be throwing stones from a glass house ;) Would be grateful for any tips on how to regain my motivation though please :goodvibes

Oh I know they're not perfect, but they're better than a... well, I won't say what, it'll just make us hungry! Am I right in thinking that sugar burns off faster than fat? I seem to recall home ec lessons saying that fats get stored for the future but sugar/carbs give a quick burst of energy (but can create a "comedown" effect as it burns out of your system - giving you a craving?)

I lost another 2lbs this week. Only 2lbs til I lose a stone. Really chuffed!!!

Good Luck Sue ~ It's horrible when you lose the motivation to diet. If you need a diet buddie or someone to moan to you know where I am.

Thats exactly why I haven't posted a pledge or weigh in for weeks, 'real life' just got in the way but I'm pleased to say I've been motivated for 3 weeks now and am feeling great on my healthy eating regime. I refuse to weigh until I know I can feel a difference in my clothes, then hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I just find it really difficult trying to fit any exercise into my already packed schedule

Thanks Florence :flower3: and everyone else, Im sure I will get back on track, well hers hoping anyway :thumbsup2

Well I'll be quite frank... I have had a crap week! I have been eating ,eating, eating, all the wrong things. it started off with pringles and then escalated to choc ices then onto chocolate and loads of other stuff in between.... all because its that time of the month  some months i am really good and seem to be ok and then the other times i'm like the cookie monster!! I have put on 2lbs :sad2: I have 19lbs to lose now.

well done to those that have lost this week, and Sue, it will come back together for you ::yes::

Joh, I know how you feel! This dieting thing is so hard to do and keep going on. I also feel complacent, i have people saying i look great etc, and as i'm now in size 14 clothes instead of 18/20 i don't push myself enough, i think the odd treat or 3 is ok, but i must say i am gutted when i have put weight on. i try to write everything down what i eat and by doing this i have lost weight, obviously didnt watch what i ate this week

I have lost 1lb this week which brings my total now to 10lbs. I just wish I could hurry up and get to the 1 stone mark as I think that's a great motivator to lose more.

I have just learned today that an old friend of mine has just become a Slimming World consultant and so I am going to find out where her classes will be held, and if they are not too far away I will go along and join her group. I won't want to let her down now in her new job will I? :yay:

Well done all you losers out there :thumbsup2 I decided to cut out bread this week and luckily I lost another 1 lb

Good luck for next week everyone :wizard:

I have not posted for three weeks now. I put 4 lb on in 2 weeks (half term and then the next week was my choccy fiend time of the month!) :sad2:

Tried really hard this week, been eating loads of fruit and drinking a glass of water before every meal. Have managed to lose 3lb of it, so I'm still 1 lb heavier than what I was originally!

Well done to everyone else - there are some great losses on here and that is good motivation for me. It shows it can be done! :thumbsup2 I think Carol's idea of not weighing til you can feel a difference is great - wish I had the willpower not to jump on the scales every two seconds.

Hope next week goes well for everyone.

Sara. :)

I'm weighing myself once a week at the same time, wearing similar clothes. Otherwise I'm terrible for weighing myself 3 times a day and making myself feel bad!

I deiscovered Slim Fast Meal Bars last week, by accident. I needed something to eat in town but was in a rush to get back to the car park. I was in a Boots type shop and spotted one so I grabbed it. Yum!
