Hmmm, 3 Creightons finished in the top 4. Sounds like a conspiracy to me... :rolleyes1

Oh man RJ - you are out of the money by 1 lousy point! That ain't right.

OK, so scrawny DS ate 2 of my scrambled egg specials this evening. We had a weight check appt. yesterday eve. - EXACTLY 54 Lbs only! He's in the bottom 5 % for his age / weight! So his pediatrician has us come in every month or every other month for weight checks.:sad2: He'd actually gained 8 oz. over the past 2 months...have to go again the end of Oct. & if he can gain a few more oz. I think he'll let us go 3 months (or maybe 6 if we're lucky)!! PITB! Sigh. But two whole entire sandwiches AND a bottle of Boost Plus - that's a record! I gotta say tho - they ARE good sandwiches!:rotfl2:

Stopped at Kohl's today 'cuz I had $30 "Kohl's Cash" that was going to expire tomorrow. I thought - OH! I can go in & find a pair of shoes on sale for $30-40 and get outta there!:sad2: Wrong! None of their shoes were on a normal sale - absolutely everything was "Buy one pair / get one pair free"! So I finally settled on a pr. of flat black suede (short) boots & a pair of brown dressier ankle boots - but had to pay full price for the one pair - but then the other pair was free & I got $30 off. But still...nothing's ever simple!! :headache: I have very narrow feet & it's really hard for me to find shoes that fit right - and boots are even worse I think...but I was determined not to waste that $30 coupon! Now I guess I have to start thinking about wearing more fall like clothes.:sad1: It was only low 70's & rainy here today - talk about a temp. shock! Brrrr already!

That sucks Cheri...I know it does take some work to get stuff small enough (thank goodness for DH sometimes)...but I would think that you could reduce it enough to meet the requirements...I hope you can figure something out!

I have been so-o-o busy at work lately! (I'm still not even caught up from vacation!):scared: Thankfully, my office is closed tomorrow for Rosh Hashanah (schools in our county are closed too). I feel like the day off can't come soon enough!:sad2: My email volume is insane. I can't keep up! DS & I are going for hair cuts (and a dab of color for me)! My regular haircutter that I've been going to for like 7 years has been off since last winter! She injured her back shoveling snow (actually shoveling sleet) and couldn't stand for long periods of time - but she's finally back! I'm so excited - she's only working 3 days a week and tomorrow just happens to be one of them AND I'm off!! :woohoo: :dance3: I despise switching hair cutters!

Tell your hairdresser to quit whining and get back to work. Doesn't she know there is a woman in crisis?:rotfl2: (I pulled something in my back yesterday so I kinda know how she feels. I bent down to pick up a bag, an empty bag mind you, and OUCH. That's it! No more work for me! )

I've been listening to the DIS podcast and one of the peoples is going around to the different parks - shopping! What I heard today was about all of the shops in England. Who knew? I'm thinkin' there's a store or two that needs some checking out (Beatles lunchboxes? See them, I must) - And of course, what better way to check all this out than with a little something from France, which is conveniently next door. :upsidedow

Kir /keer/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[keer]

–noun- an apéritif of white wine or sometimes champagne (Kir Royale) flavored with cassis.

Sounds yummy!

:yay: Hi gang!

:flower3: TRM.

and why yes, RJ. What else is there in France to carry around except for the $130 face cream that lady tried to sell me, or french pastries - and why spend the fat and calories on that when you can have b**ze, I mean, a nice cold something to sip on. OMgosh, those Grey Goose lemonades :woohoo: "Excusez- quemoi le serveur m'apportent svp a Grey Goose en ce moment!"

I also know Spanish: tamale, enchilada, ?donde esta casa de pepe?
:rotfl2:

Chris speaks German. Timmy speaks Teen. We're a regular international family.

yanno, that to-kill-ya bar is 'posed to be open by next Spring. They should have all the kinks worked out by the time we get there. (And it's right by the jewelry place - you don't think they'll take THAT out do you:eek: I mean, the tacky musically instruments can go, but not the cheap "silver" bracelets.)

I  the silver shop! Me thinks we need to drink and shop :rotfl2:

Who's with me???

Me  Da' Rosa!!! :cloud9:

maybe that's why I have 2 bottles in my frig ;)
