Guess WHat!! Even though it isn't my "official" weigh in, (that is tomorrow) I went to the gym this morning and lost another 4lbs! I am trying to be realistic and tell myself it is just a flux..but still..very exciting!

I walked 3 miles in 58 minutes today...and 30 minutes of weights...woo hoo!! Tomorrow will make it official

My back feels alittle better today, hopefully if I give it a few more days I'll be able to get back to "normal" not that I was ever "normal" to begin with!

Beano worked...I hurt my back...it rained...weekend over!

And I just have to share that today is an absolutely perfect day. We are getting up into the 80s(Id say we are close now) and its sunny. Everything just smells so good with that springy smell. But don't be too jealous because by Wednesday we are going to be back to having highs in the 50s.

Thanks for loaning us the sun for a couple of days! It was much needed therapy!! Wish I weren't so behind on the gardening so that I could just sit on the patio & RELAX....hummm. What's that? I didn't get as much done as I'd have liked to - but it's a start. I have several perennial beds that were OUT OF CONTROL. Darned shasta daisies & Crocosmia's takin' over the place! Got 1 more perennial bed to hit (maybe tonite after work?) then a little more out front to finish and I can move on to the trees by next weekend! The weeds & grass haven't seemed to mind the cold weather at all - they have just moved right on into the old mulch around the trees... I opened a bag of mulch Sat. & all of these gnat-like things flew out - went right down my shirt! I had 15 bites! From now on I am going to open the bags & leave 'em sit for awhile before I start dumping them out!!

RonnieJo - hope your back is doin' better...maybe stock up on the Motrin?!

Betsy - hope your weigh-in went as planned...fingers are crossed...

Cheri - hope your sun is back soon...thanks for sharing it tho...

CamColt - your countdown is lookin' good!!

Hey all!

Thanks for missing me. Lurking a bit here and there. Gots nuthin' to say I guess.

Wait...did I just say that!?

We were at Half Moon Bay this weekend. Hence the absence. Went to see the elephant seals we did. Pretty neato. Rained on Saturday. I hate rain. But me likey fresh clam chowder!

Dr. appt at 3 - haircut tomorrow. And DD gets "W" appliance and bands/brackets tomorrow. Should be a rip roarin' Tuesday around here. Must figure out what to feed her for the next few days. I think milkshakes and icees. That covers a couple of the food groups right?

RJ - get that back better. Motrin is good. Rest. Ice for first 48 then heat if you need it. Got a spa attached to that new pool!? That would be good too.

Cheri - it seems your June gloom may be a bit early this year? But maybe this will be the end of it!? That will be my wish for you.

Hey dudes!

Thought I'd share a couple of "Before and After" pics of our pool remodel... although we may not be done yet. We are toying with the idea of a waterfall behind them thar rocks. 'Spensive though! Also a new deck in the back right corner for a couple of chaise lounges.



Then all we need is a beer cooler for me and a hot cabana boy to bring DW fresh margies!

Ok, not a major change but it is more "lagoonish."
