I love to sip one by the ADULT pool..very light and refreshing!!

I like to have two sometimes..and if I am really in the mood..maybe 3 or 4 mojitos!!

oh oh oh ...extra mint!! YUM!!
I think I will have one ( or two ) tomorrow night when we take mommy to dinner for her birthday..

I'm with ya! But it depends how big they are...at least 3...and maybe let's make the last one a double!:cool2:

Drinking my chewing gum....hhmmmm..wait for it...wait for it....

Nope just not thinking I would like that.

Hey! What am I doing here! I am supposed to be finishing the SHHHHH tax report Hee hee but DH went next door to see new motorcycle parts and I escaped to see friends on the DIS.

:yay: Hello friends!!

Off to wine tasting this weekend. Must print out TZM address and send him a present.:thumbsup2 What is everyone else doing??

Took DD to orthodontist today. Yep, 7 years old. He has a plan for the slow growing lower jaw of said child. Will only cost $3600 for 18 months.:scared1:
DH says "I am not surprised he has some way to spend our money. He is an orthodontist" "Who is this guy?" "Where did you find him?" "Don't you think DD is a little young for a palate expander?"um...well honey just flipped open the yellow pages, let my finger do the walking, and found the cheapest moron whose staff could answer the phone in english. Thanks for making me feel totally incompetent as a mother and that I have wasted my afternoon when I could have been home. Doing laundry. Why yes I would like my DD to have a 3 inch overbite by the time she is 16. It will do wonders for her dating life.

Slowly put down the box of girl scout cookies and move away from the hormonal, pregnant woman.

Men...

hello everyone,

i was thinking i should try this movie quote thing so here it goes:

"i buy my underwear from Kmart 400 oak and burnett cincinatti(sp), ohio, let me tell you something Ray, "Kmart Sucks"

this should be an easy one

Look at it this way: If you went on an 18 month long Disney Cruise, it would be around $117,000,000!!! (Ok, it would be for the cabin WE like to stay in, anyway!)

Sean:

That's Rainman. Easy one.

Yeah. Definitely Rainman. Very easy. Definitely easy. Uh oh, fart!

Thanks for the mojito info. It definitely sound interesting. I'll put that on my list of things to do on the cruise. ;)

You have to find Ali...he makes the BEST mojitos

wait!!!!

..oh no!!

Ali is on the MAGIC!!!!

AH!!!

ok..it is alright..my BIL Dave is going on the Wonder this summer..he will tell me who to see for a Mojito!! Breathe Deep!!!

I will need to find me a fantabulous maker of the "sailaway" drinks! :thumbsup2

and saw many, many, many mojitos

Well..I had not really thought of it that way...

So it's quite a deal.

18 month cruise.....I would miss Starbucks.

How are you Beano? Any chance we get to see you Easter Weekend?

BIG weekend plans on the east coast! Tonight we have our annual elem. school "sock hop" :woohoo: There's nothin' quite like doin' the chicken dance with your DS as doing it when you're sober :lmao:

Tomorrow, I think will be my pond start-up day. It's supposed to be 60 (not QUITE as warm as I would like it to be to play in the water) but the forecast for next week is a bit March-like still (50 by the end of the week) so-o-o-o....I miss my little fishies & the water is so-o-o mucky I can hardly see them & I feel like I must be a good mommy to them & clean the darn thing out. They are like pets - very friendly fish - they eat right out of my hand! If I put on like 3 t-shirts I should be warm enough I think. But it will be a nasty job....I DO have hip boots to wear which is downright necessary this time of year...

ANYWAY, then tomorrow nite, our next door neighbor's sister is having a birthday party for our neighbor (#40). party: SO-O the grown-ups all get to go out - they've hired some vans or something to tote all of us from our 'hood across the county for this shindig.... :cool1: I think I can already feel a hangover coming for Sunday........I must leave myself a note to remind myself to drink a big glass of water & take some asprin before going to bed!!! My neighborhood is very social - they're planning a pre-party party at 5:00 :rotfl2:

Ouch! :scared: Our DS willl need something similar one day. He's almost 10 but hasn't been losing his teeth very fast (I think maybe only about 6 so far). His mouth is a mess. All 4 of his adult front top & bottom teeth came in before he ever lost the baby teeth! So he had 2 rows for awhile like a shark! Well, so now they're crooked as could be + he has that overbite thing that will need to be fixed...but I'm not going to put braces on baby teeth :sad2: No no no!! I don't think he even has any more loose ones right now either. We go to the dentist in April sometime...but they're reluctant to pull any...so we wait. And wait. He wanted to play the trumpet this year but the instrumental music teacher said his teeth were too crooked & recommended the clarinet - so he could at least start learning to read music - then let him switch later if he still wants to. He's not loving the clarinet but oh well. I guess I'm painting a lovely picture of my only child huh?! My grandfather always looked at a horses teeth before he bought one - but I keep telling myself he's not a horse!! :rotfl:

Sounds like a fun time, Annie. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow is my big day out too. :cool1: We will start off at the Harp (a bar/restaurant in Boston) around noon with a couple drinks before heading acrosss the street to the Bruins game. (I know, I know, they stink...but I'm still a fan). Then at night we will be going out for dinner and more drinks.

Of course DS has baseball tryouts at 7:00 AM Sunday morning which really puts a damper on the night time plans, but DH won the job of picking him up at my parents house at 6:30 and taking him.

Now if I can just get through today! :headache:

Doin' ok, how's about you? Fully stocked with pickles and ice cream?:)

We're gonna be in southern California part of next week, and Easter weekend I'm afraid. Otherwise we'd love to see all y'all! We are going on 3 college campus tours for DS... CalTech, UCSD and SD State. (So I guess it's the evil Knebels that will have to put up with us instead of you!)

But summer's a' comin', and we're remodeling our pool, so y'all hafta come swimmin' at Casa de Crouton! :beach:

:woohoo: :cheer2: TAX REPORT IS DONE!!:cheer2: :woohoo:

Annie - Son is not a horse, son is not a horse...;) interesting about the musical instruments though. Who woulda thunk it? The ortho wants to expand the upper palate first (6 months) then four brackets on upper front teeth and four on lower fronts, which are already grown up teeth. So - guess this will start with xrays and molds on 4/13 and palate expander on 4/18. Poor kid.

Beano - why you always gotta dog me!? (be quiet Bets) You will make it to the ranch and/or cabin eventually. Especially after we move there and me and RJ hang out together all the time. "Hey Beano its Neil - the girls have been drinking again. Can you drive up and pick up RJ - I'll BBQ you a steak.":lmao: I can see it all now. Jealous of the evil Knebels I am.

Yes, campus visits, Neil has been meaning to talk to you all about engineering schools. Procrastinate he can. He thinks UCI might be worthy of a visit. They are apparently doing some interesting things there? I will have him email you all tonight. He knows some people at Cal Tech that maybe could talk to you all. UCI too. Don't know about SDSU. UCSB gets his vote always. (that is where he spent....like....11 years)

Annie - have fun at the sock hop and with your fishies and the burfday party. Busy weekend eh?

Cam - Go root on the Bruins. If we got no team loyalty what do we have!?

My movie quote:
"Never mess with a Sicilian when death is on the line"

:cake: party: :bday:

Happy Birthday Soccerdad Chris!
