Wish I could come do your laundry Cheri. It is widely know I love to do the stuff:laundy: When Betsy knows I am coming up, she saves it for me so I will have something to do besides read, walk the dog and watch TV:happytv: I guess I am crazy but I like to do laundry. I like cleaning the kitchen but don't like to cook. Maybe I missed my calling and should have been a housekeeper instead of a mommy and hospital employee for so many years.
maybe I could ship it to you ... and you had to be a mommy or we wouldn'y have Bets:hug:

I like to play in mud but don't think I could take a bath in mud:confused3 Katie I am just waiting for everyone else to make plans for me.:lmao:

I just want to go to Castaway Cay!! Since Neil nixed Cheri and I's nanny plans I am guessing not to much excursioning will be coming my way. We will have to tag team that one. DD is saying she wants to try parasailing. But I don't really believe her. Is that bad? The Atlantis thing sounds great to me so I am waiting to see if another $179 deal pops up for July. Kinda doubt it though.

RJ - you getting the rain today? Ho hum.

Cheri - embellishing pockets today:thumbsup2 The trial fish extender should be done tonight.:thumbsup2 I will post a picture. How many total do we need to make?

Off to Michaels to pick up ribbon. If anyone is making t-shirts - Michaels has t-shirts for $2!! I am making shirts to wear to Disneyland 1. to torture my husband and 2. it's Lindens first trip!!

Will check in later. Hope Annie is having fun!! Or is she home today??
Neil is gonna miss all the fun - it happens at night.

ixnay on the ishyfays :rolleyes1

Hi ya'll!!! I'm baaaacccckkk!!!!:goodvibes Mickey says "Hi everybody"! We really, really liked the Villas at Wilderness Lodge! It was much more our speed than Old Key West, which we were very unimpressed with! This was MUCH more what we expected from a DVC. Dinner at Whispering Canyon was a hoot! DS got "put in jail"! The food was OK - not as good as Boma but the atmosphere was fun so we enjoyed it. The parks were busy! I had heard all the resorts were sold out and I believe it. It was probably almost as busy as when we went last August!

Another day down there would've been really nice...esp. 'cuz the weather was NOT following what the forecast said for the day - but TODAY looked like it was going to be perfect! Figures we were leaving first thing this morning! It was about 61 & muggy when we got there Fri. nite and the weather channel forecast for the day on Sat was for 78 - so we went out in shorts & Tshirts to the Animal Kingdom & nearly froze to death! The fog never burned off before we left so it stayed cold (about 60) & drizzly... BUT we rode EE 3 times, Dino once & Kali River Rapids (wearing ponchos since there was no way we'd dry off w/o them) before lunch! We tried the Yak & Yeti counter service place for lunch. Not very good. Limited menu, very bland and expensive for a CS lunch ($10.99 for Kung Pao Beef)! I was bummed - I expected more. The sit-down place was about $20+ and we didn't have ressies - but I'm not into spending that much for lunch anyway! So I can say we tried it but I won't be trying it again.:sad2:

After lunch we we went back to the lodge & put on warmer clothing & headed out to MK. ON THE WAY over (at like 2:00) the sun finally came out!!:lmao: So we ended up renting a locker at MK to stash our ponchos, xtra layers & coats!! Around 5:00 or so it started looking like rain (there was a 70% chance) so DH went & got the backpack while we got in line for Jungle Cruise. A little after 6:00 it started to thunder & lightening so we decided to stop to eat & then head to Tomorrow Land - DS & I went in a restaurant to order some dinner while DH went to get fast passes for Space Mountain. It cut loose one heck of a storm on DH while he was out there - he got back soaking wet clear thru WITH the poncho on AND there were no fast passes left! It was getting cold & windy & it never stopped raining so we called it an early nite & went home.

Sun. it was MAYBE 55 or 56 in the sun and very windy all day. We wore 2 layers & our jackets w/o the linings but we were cold all day. If we'd left the linings in we'd have probably been TOO HOT. So it was a tough call on what to wear. We did Hollywood Studios until about 2:30 then went to Epcot. By this time the only ride with fast passes left was Mission Space. The wait for Soarin' was 120 minutes! So we fast passed MS and waited in line 60 min. for TT. We did Spaceship Earth & by then we were so-o-o cold....it went down to like 40 degrees as soon as the sun went down. Since we had dinner ressies at 8:00 we just left after that...

Mon. we did the early open for AK and rode EE twice then left & went back to Epcot to do Soarin' since we missed it Sun & TT once more...so we fast passed TT & waited an hour for Soarin'. Then we went to Morocco & had lunch & looked for some Hidden Mickey's before we went back to TT. Got in line for TT and BAM! It broke down! After about 20 min. they said it was indefinite for how long & made everybody leave! So we gave our fp to another family & went back to the lodge to go to the pool. Well. Actually, I stayed in the hot tub for about 45 min.:goodvibes Then we showered & went to MK for the Pirate & Princess party! So we were at MK from about 5:30 until 11:45. We rode Space Mountain 3 times, Big Thunder twice etc. So-o nice to have to deal with the crowds for our last nite!!:thumbsup2 Paying extra is a way cool way to getting thru everything w/o a line.

Can't wait to go again!! I NEED MORE POINTS!! Hummmmmmmm.....TRM - I hear ya on the mud bath thing sounding a bit kinky BUT a kinky mud bath thing on the Wonder might just be the negotiating tool I need to talk DH into those extra points! :rotfl2:

Katie - just BTW, out of curiosity I priced the Kahlua at VWL - it was a small bottle - like coke bottle size so I guess 16 or 20 oz and it was $20. But they had some there so I would assume AKL would have it too...

Cheri - those tickets looked really cool...

TRM - can't wait to see your fish extender project! It is sounding very detailed!

RJ - very cute pic of the dog & cat...

Betsy - are you feelin' better?

Any word on SE & Steve?

OK, I asked DH to take DS to swimming so I could work on laundry...so I'd better scoot for awhile......

:yay: :yay: Hi RJ!!!

Welcome Back Annie!! Sounds like you had a blast.

I can't wait to go to Disneyland. We have not been since Sept. 2006:eek: I cannot believe it's been that long. SOOOO not right.

Anyone else have a growing pile of items bought "especially" for our cruise growing in their closet!?:rolleyes1

Gotta go online to Disney sale and get girls matching pjs - clearance sale you know!:thumbsup2

growing ideas for cruise :rolleyes1 I shall never tell.... it's gonna be so much fun.... I have so much stuff planned. Magnets, Stuff. More stuff.

Now, just to find a way to store all those unwanted pounds.... somewhere else I mean. I'm only talkin' 20. C'mon!

Bar dancin' pj's. Check. Gots my eye out for those too!

I'm gonna drive down to SD and drink with Cheri so she divulges all her cruise secrets. RJ you want me to pick you up on the way!?

Cheri - forgot to say I do like the "flip flop and tank top" ticket. :thumbsup2

:wizard: Anybody have an update on Steve?:confused3

If you find that place can you let me know?

Welcome back, Annie. Glad you had fun, despite some not so great weather. Sorry you didnt like the counter service Y&Y. I ate there in December and thought it was pretty good....chicken was a little dry but overall we liked it.

Not much new on Steve. Hes home and recovering, with no permanent damage. :goodvibes It sounds like the tough part is quitting smoking and drinking. :headache:

I can relate to the hard to quit smoking thing...Feb 28 will be 1 yr. since we quit...I smoked for about 28 years, although never really A LOT. I think I wore the patch for the better part of the whole year leading up to quitting...and yes, I smoked WITH the patch on, which you're not supposed to do - but only about 5 or 6 per day - I basically used the patch to cut back to almost nothing first. It was not an easy thing to do...and I still want one whenever I smell them! I'm pretty OK now without them until I smell them - like when I walk past the smoking areas - I just want to veer off & go bum one! I hope Steve can do it!!:)

Another day closer and yet another picture:

Great job, Annie! Keep up the good work! :goodvibes

Ronnie Jo, you have the best pictures. Are these all yours?

Great picture RonnieJo!!

CamColt thanks for the update on Steve.

Not up to much today. "organizing stuff" in the house.:scared: How does one accumulate sooo many gift bags!?:confused3 Oy! and the scrapbooking stuff. How will I ever catch up?

Filled out passport info for girls online and printed out the forms!:thumbsup2 Now to find a day/time when Neil can go with me to witness the process. Maybe next week.:rotfl: Oh wait he is going to SD.:headache: Have to get that done.

OK off to spend a few minutes looking up long lost relatives on geneaology software. Baby steps...that is my new motto. Baby steps. That and 1 drawer at a time.:rotfl:

Bar dancin' pj's. Check. Gots my eye out for those too!

Not sure about this activity...what if we don't dance?!:confused3
(or wear fancy jammies?)

Well, need to go catch up with DH in a minute to watch AI...

Sure is quiet out here.......

:grouphug: Mornin'

Annie: everyone can dance...just shake your booty ;)

we didn't say you have to dance well....:rotfl2: remember we make our own fun!

I have seen the pj dancing and trust me when I say.."dance" is a loose term...and cute pj's aren't required...just cover! LOL

I hear (cause I listen to kfog out of San Jose) that the grapevine is closed...no Kingsburg to San Diego trips today!!

I am starting to get caught back up at work..added Rick to my reservation and starting to pay that off...can't we move this trip to September? Half the price and longer to pay...PLEASE OH PLEASE LET THE IRS GIVE ME FAT CRUISE PAYOFF MONEY!!!

:lmao: I am always the pocketbook holder! (And if I spend enough time with the Captain I might "chair dance" a little!)

NO!!!! :scared1: 6 months is too long as it is! Ok, not too long to get the money, but too long to wait. I want to go now!!!:yay: Can you tell I need a vacation???? ;)

And I meant to say this yesterday, but thanks for doing the all important research Annie. ;) That should get me a few drinks. :woohoo:
