:worship: Thanks! :thanks: It may well end up being light jacket day all day days too. Warm enough to go without coats is looking like wishful thinking right now! (Let's hope for no rain on top of the cooler temps too!)

I am sorry about your noreaster...i have the weather channel on right now (trying to catch the weekly planner):rotfl: I would be pulling my hair out by now if I were you!:scared:

HEY - where's Betsy?! Any word?

Hi Everyone,

Do not know how many of you are taking limos from the airport to the radisson or to the port, but I got a quote today from Southern Elegance Limo for roundtrip from airport to hotel, then port to wilderness lodge was $400.00 tip not included. Just thought I would pass this info along to everyone....

Hi Sean!
I just emailed SE last night. I loved their service 2 (or 3) years ago. Somehow I ended up talking to the owner on the phone one afternoon for about half an hour about nothing but he was so nice and we just laughed - and everything went smoothly.

The FL Tours site came up with a $380 quote PLUS $25 grocery stop. Both times we've used them the CD player has been busted. I know that's a silly little thing, but 4 times? (2 round trips?)

Poor Bets has to go back to work tomorrow so I'm sure she's sleeping today. I hope anyway.

Hi ya'll...

Well, I just spent however long unpacking the BIG duffle and tried to re-pack us into 3 carry-ons. No can do for DH if I take any heavier clothes - his stuff is just too big. I AM torn tho about it as I am planning for all of us to wear coats that have linings we could take out. I am just really having a hard time deciding what to leave in & what to take out. I get cold easily. So I'm back to using the one BIG duffle and 1 carry-on. I'm actually pretty proud of that! I managed to get our DVC canvas tote bag into the duffle - so we COULD use that as a spare carry-on for the trip home if we need to! :) I ALMOST forgot to allow room for our snacks & breakfast goodies I bought to take! But I think I can get most of it in. I zipped it all up & weighed it & it appears to be about 43 pounds - so well under the 50 Lb limit!:woohoo: (I don't have any extra shoes packed for any of us...only what we wear + 1 pr. of flip flops JUST IN CASE we go to the pool! I don' know if that's a mistake?! What do you think?)

Cheri,

We used them the first time we went on the cruise we did airport to Boardwalk villas with a Free grocery stop, then when they came to pick us up on the day we left for the cruise, I had talked to the owner when we booked them, He upgraded us at NO Charge to a Limo because it was our anniversary. Then we used them to take us back to the airport after the cruise, the service was
Fantastic and the drivers were very nice and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone. Thats why we are using them again this time, and they said they would put the Disney character stuffed figures in the Limo for the kids since it is their first trip..

Cheri: are you doing any days at Disney before the cruise or are you going straight to the Radisson on the 19th before the cruise and are you flying home right after the cruise...

Hi
they said they would put the Disney character stuffed figures in the Limo for the kids since it is their first trip..

Hi Sean and Linda! Good to hear from you! Hope all is well in NY.

EEK-I had read on a transportation thread that someone booked a limo - don't know which company - and they had told the DISers they would place stuffed mickey in limo for child I believe it was their first trip also. Imagine their surprise when they arrived at their drop off location and were told by the driver that Mickey stays in the limo.:scared1: Kid was screaming parents were

Anyways...I need to email my limo dude also. We are going directly to the port and directly back to the airport so our quote will be different.

Everyone watching football! I learned something today. I am a Pats hater. Sorry Katie. My DH pointed it out earlier when I said if the Cowboys don't win it all I am rooting for anyone but the Pats. "Even the Packers!?" Says Neil. "Yup". Says I. "Wow - you are a hater". See I hate the Packers too. Don't you just LOVE football! :rotfl2:

OK gotta check hotels for SD for Spring Break and email limo dude. Then its laundry time!:laundy:

YAY!

LOL, Johnna! thats ok. I like you anyway. ;)

What a nailbiter this SD/IND game is . I want to say the Chargers are the lesser of 2 evils so I would like to see them win, but either way I know it will be tough next week (like Im playing, LOL).

:rotfl: Lesser of 2 evils. You mean with their QB and RB hurt now?:rotfl: Well it might be interesting.

I am upstairs putting on my Dallas shirt. They are already behind and I am not liking the looks of this.

I would really hate to have to be a Packers fan.:lmao: :scared: :headache:

Got me a great limo quote! $267 one way!:scared1:

Ok, I guess that helps. ;) But a team that beat the Colts, can be scary. Im always afraid of the Colts. I hate to say this but we need a good snow storm. It would be nice if we could move tomorrows to Sunday. ;)

Man thats harsh. Using Mother Nature to do your dirty work!:lmao:

RJ - that quote was Transworld. Bet they do not do much cruise business!

Limos are a problem in my opinion. We want a special option so nobody has to drive. So options are a town car, stretch limo, SUV. In the town car its not all that special and now with Linden Neil would have to ride up with the driver. Thats no fun. The SUV - not sure thats really all that special either as we all cannot really interact on the way. The limos for the most part are super stretch for 8-10 people. So it seems like overkill. We might have to yell back and forth across the limo to talk to each other. Of course after a long flight with a 1 year old maybe we won't want to be talking to each other!:rotfl:

Oh I don't know. I think I obsessed about transportation last cruise didn't I. Arg. Anybody else flying in about 4pm on Friday the 18th?

$267 one way?! $400 round trip?!:scared: I think we'll stick with our DCL bus xfer back to MCO - it's already in my balance due...$137 I think it was for the one way trip - esp. since we got the Air Tran deal... I am still thinking we will rent a car to get to the port (under $150). I just gotta decide if we rent it at MCO and keep it for the 3 days and do our "supply stop" on the way to WDW or if we take the ME bus and rent the car on Sat. & save 2 days of rental - either way it's cheaper than the limo. It WOULD be cool to arrive at the port in such style - but we can't buy the beer on Sun. am. And as Katie pointed out the other day - TRM will have both hands full with Linden & all....so I don't know...gots time to figure all this out... Will call Costco Travel one of these days about the cars... Meanwhile, it's Sun. evening already & I still have so much to do! I am thinkin' that Sundays are my least favorite day of the week 'cuz it means that tomorrow is Monday!

Washed mine & DS's coats today...need to go move 'em to the dryer...

Man thats harsh. Using Mother Nature to do your dirty work!:lmao:

:smooth: Actually, I just saw they are predicting a high of 14 degrees on Sunday. You couldnt pay me enough to go to that game! But it is still a week away so anything is possible.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today, Annie. It's almost like I get depressed come Sunday because I know the weekend is just about over.

hello
I am alive..had a bad few days where I couldn't keep anything in my stomach..but I think that has now passed.
Going to work tomorrow..for how long I don't know..but if I don't go in I think my bosses will have a meltdown
i haven't backread..my attention span is that of a gnat, so I can't remember what I read anyway...GOOD for working!

starting to "feel funny" again.:sad2: the other day i took cold eeze zinc all day & then i felt better. but now sorta just "not right" again.:sad1: am trying screwdrivers for this evenings cocktail. please to do not tell me that the vodka will negate the vit. C!!

Bets - take it easy tomorrow! Set backs are unacceptable.

Annie - feel better. Tis no fun to be traveling and feeling puny. Take alots of vitamin C!:thumbsup2 I usually take 1000mg twice a day when I am feeling puny. EmergenC is yummy!

Boy it just seems like transportation should be easier! :confused3

Football is officially over for me this year. OK until SuperBowl party we throw with our friends. But yep, took off the Cowboys jersey and packed it away until next year. Can't be worn again until August.:sad2:

Now to root for San Diego. 'Cause truth be told I just can't root for the Packers until I have no other choice.;)

Sean - no worries. I have requested about 5 quotes. The trick is to watch the extra fees they sneak in there. Car Seats, grocery stops, MCO pick up, tolls. Like I said, just seems like transportation should be easier.

Ugh - I have a :headache: and we have to have dinner with friends. Everyone have a good evening!

Mornin'
