No theme. It's sort of strange. I worked with this girl for like 5 years. She was actually in my wedding. My cousin bailed at the last minute and she made the comment if the dress would fit she would be a replacement...well, they were close in size, LOL!

But she was a very nice girl and as you can see she would do anything for you. We both got married about a year apart and then had our first kids about a year apart too, all while working together. So needless to say we went through a lot together. But then our bank got sold to another bank and we went our separate ways. This was 9 years ago. I hadnt heard from her in forever then I got a birth announcement from her when her DD was born. Since then we have sent Christmas cards and emailed a few times, but not really hung out or chatted much. I was really surprised to get the invite, but I'm thinking maybe all the "bank people" got invited, sort of as a whole. ;) But because of the situation I cant call up anyone and say hey, are you going to Jane's party? What are ya wearing? Because I don't know if anyone else is even invited...and Id have to research to find them all now. ;)

:lmao:

Just got a text message from Bets...

she's in a cop car

maybe we should tell them my DH drives a Ford Crown Vic "Police Inceptor" vehicle...LOL first time I rode in it...funny how when you have one of those, everyone gets out of your way..:lmao:

We had to go to his city because there was a flood at one of the fire stations and he was told water might have gotten into his office...no water...all is well..except this was 2.5 hours of my saturday night..blech!

:rolleyes1 That's your story Bets and you're sticking to it ;)

ok, so it's the truth....but it's fun to tease you Bets

LOL! RJ didn't seem too worried so I was hoping there was a non criminal reason for it, LOL! cool!

Page 2 people--what's up with that?

Ohhhhh...found a dress for semi-formal night today at Macy's on clearance for CHEAP!!!!! Now I have a new dress to wear in three weeks.

WOO HOO!!!
Sue Ellen

Yikes! Where is everyone? :confused3

Do you have pics of the dress Sue Ellen? Let's see!!! :)

Hey gang - back from Bethany Beach! I need some GOOD FOOD now! Those pics that Beano posted looked so good! I could really go for some MEAT right now!! All's we ate was JUNK! Pita chips and spinich dip and cheese and crackers and kettlecorn salty popcorn, fresh hot gooey donuts from the Fractured Prune and just JUNK and then more JUNK!! The only real meal we had was pizza (does that even count?!) We ended up NOT going out bar hopping on Sat. nite as planned 'cuz my friend who owns the beach house has been very sick (Chrons Disease) and she is on a ton of meds & she didn't feel like going out. They have her on one drug now that's a chemo drug so it makes her very tired. We thought for awhile last nite that we might have to take her to an urgent care place but then decided they wouldn't know what to do with her. If Johns Hopkins can't fix her we were pretty sure that would be a waste! So she went to bed & the rest of us stayed up & played drinking games and ate more junk (well, I played until my Capt. was gone anyway)!:lmao: You know, you can turn just about any game into a drinking game. :rotfl:

We did outlet shopping for a good chunk of the day on Sat. (love no tax in Delaware) and then we went down to the beach & hung out for awhile today as it was a bit warmer out. It was about 70 outside I guess today. Then we watched the Redskins lose their game before heading back. I might have to go to bed early tho to fight off going out to McDonalds....I could really go for a "Big & Tasty with cheese" right now....or a Double Whopper with Cheese from Burger King!!:rotfl2: Well, I could actually go for a steak but at this point anything that's not a cracker or a dip sounds good....

Camcolt...40th birthday at the American Legion....Hummm...this time of year I'd probably wear jeans and a sweater with some sort of boots (more of a tight sweater than a big bulky kind of sweater). Yep. That's what I'd wear.:thumbsup2

Wow, Annie! Sounds like you had a good time with lots of junk. I hope your friend is feeling better. That must be so hard for her. :(

Ronnie Jo, I can't wait to show that picture to Colton when he gets home today. He kept saying yesterday he was in the mood for Candy Corn. ;) On the way home from my nieces bday party he wanted to stop at my parents house because they have a jar of candy corn out on the counter. :rotfl:

Beano - just wanted to let you know Ryan is downstairs right now showing her cruise DVD to a friend.

"That's Beano" "That's Cassie" "There is my friend Ronnie Jo"

Talk about bringin' a tear to your eye!

Well that and my football picks this week...:sad1:

OK Friend Cheri and everyone else really... remember back when you so cleverly put together your engineering, geometry math geek type problem/graphic to help Neil understand the "we must go on a cruise" philosophy? (if you are catching up it's posted here somewhere I believe in the early on posts you can go back and read it and then know about that which we speak)

OK this is how bad it really is here....

We were watching "Big Bang Theory" last night. (new series about...math/science geeks) And there was a part when the mother makes her son go and apologize to his professor for calling him an idiot. And he says something like he apologizes for calling his attention to the fact he is an idiot rather than acutally apologizing for saying it. ANYWAYS, the professor is standing in front of a whiteboard working on a problem. And Neil and I were laughing :happytv: and during the commercial break Neil says something like "I really don't understand why the networks can't get real professors to look over their stuff before they do those types of scenes". And I am thinking....:sad2: "Oh no here it comes." I have known Neil since we were 13 so I kinda know how his brain works... And I say "The problem on the whiteboard was wrong wasn't it?":sad2: And Neil says....."Um not exactly wrong...":scared: "The equation at the top of the board does not explain the diagram they show drawn on the bottom of the board":headache: :teacher: "It's a totally different equation" (insert slap yourself in the forehead smilie here)
:rotfl2:

Really? Who actually reads the EQUATION on the whiteboard!?

And the show NUMBERS...um...yep...he loves that one. OK he used to but now that they are kinda off the "true math" he is not as interested....:sad2:

Poor man. Oh and don't get me started on the conditional Excel spreadsheet he uses to track the football pool every week.....

Johnna: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

We watch Numbers and have been Tivo'ing Big Bang Theory...

It figures that Neil would be the person that actually pays attention to the equation! All that math talk on Numbers usually sends me into immediate "brain fry" mode!! The one who I truly DO NOT get is Larry though :confused3 ....a monastery?????:confused3
