Brother, you are so in! :thumbsup2

So, tell us more about yourself and your family.

Thanks for the welcomes from several of you all. I appreciate it.

The name is Ben. I'm a college computer science professor in northeast Iowa. I've been married for 18 lovely years to a women who truly is my best friend. I thought that was a cliche until I got lucky enough to find her. Together we have three incredible kids. Margaret is 11, Caroline is 7, and James just turned four yesterday. They are great kids and love to play along with the trips to Disney and the planning that is involved. We have several guidebooks that are held together with book tape because they are so well read by the entire family.

I never intended to be a DIS addict. Really, I didn't. It started simply enough... mom and dad would take us for a single day trip when we spent Christmas in Florida with my grandparents. Every three years like clockwork when I was growing up. After I went to college and then after we got married the trips didn't happen that often although we always thought about going back. Then in 2008 my folks took the entire family (all 15 of us ranging from 71 years to 8 months) for a week off property but including a day each at each park. My family flew in early and spent four days at Pop and toured some on our own to get started. The rest, as they say, is history.

We will be heading back for a week in December for what will be my 10th trip overall dating back to the early days of MK and my family's third trip in four years. I realize that's not even that much for many of you all, but it still surprises me that it has become my life. Dang cheap airfare, free dining, and my willingness to skip a day or two of school near vacations...
