Thanks, everyone! :cloud9: I'd try to multi-quote and thank you all personally, but it's 6am here and I just got home from celebrating with my wife and co-workers (there isn't a real "closing time" in Korea...if a bar closes, you can always go to a restaurant or a convenience store and get more beer or whatever...we left before closing time and did about 3 hours at a singing room, or rentable karaoke room with booze...)...yet, surprisingly, I'm not drunk...just exhausted...:faint:

We need South Korea in Epcot. :rotfl2:

Have a great weekend guys. I am going to drown myself in tears this weekend with the news that Manning is out.

My DW did tell me the bright side is that the Colts would suck enough this year to draft that Luck kid out of Stanford.

Thanks honey, that makes me feel better :lmao:

At least you have all those Colt receivers to make up those fantasy points .... Oops. What was the stat line on Rogers last night?

:lmao::lmao:
speaking of small animals, briana came home all upset the other day, she hit a squirell.:lmao: i told her to remember that bumper sticker, squirells, natures little speed bumps.:lmao: she was all upset, she said he doubled back and i ran him over. i tried to keep a straight face but, it was hard.:lmao:than she asked me if i thought he was still there? i said, nah, im sure something ate it by now.:lmao: all you new dads, write this down in your fathering 101 manuals!!!:lmao:

Squirrel! Point!

World through the eyes of a 7 year old

I just stopped by Blockbuster on my way from work. They have slowly been closing stores in Canada for about a year now.
Last week Blockbuster Canada announced ALL the rest of the stores will be closing.
So they are clearing out everything in the store.
I picked up:
Toy Story 3 - WII for $19.99 minus 15%
Indiana Jones II - Wii for $14.99 minus 15%.

Anyways, when I got home with the games my kids asked if I rented them or bought them.

I told them, I bought them, and we won't be able to rent anymore movies or games from Blockbuster because they are closing for good.

So my son said "Oh, I know why... my friend said there was a Bank Robber"

I kinda chuckled to myself and said - "No. I think he meant Bankruptcy" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Then I explained to him - it means that aren't making enough money to keep the store open.

His version of the story sounds a lot more exciting though...

Even as a Pats fan, I'm bummed to see Manning go out. Was hoping to see him break the consecutive start record, and he's a great competitor to watch...

Don't count the season over though. We went through this with Brady a few years back and still won 11 games and almost snuck into the playoffs. The Colts are good enough to make some noise without Manning...

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Thanks for the comic relief.:thumbsup2
You're welcome.

Now you’re just makin’ this stuff up right?
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I must concur with you diagnoses

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Yep. That was the diagnosis alright. And no, I did not make a single bit of that story up. I was actually too stunned when I walked into her office and noticed what was going on to laugh out loud.

Yep. Completely serious.

Not of these spots but I'll probably go down to the Susquehanna River tonight or in the morning and take some pics at high water - I'll try to shoot from the same general area.

Here's before pics:

I couldn't get to the same area to photograph the Susquehanna. National Guard with Humvees and german shepherds. . . So I went to the other side of the river (Wrightsville, PA). Here's what it looked like from there (same bridge):

And here are a couple more in the same area:

Photos do not do the scene justice - an amazing amount of water heading to the Chesapeake Bay.

I know what you mean. I HATE the Patriots, but have to respect them. Belichek is a great coach, and Brady always seems to get the best out of the guys he's surrounded by. I went to the Colts/Pats game 2 years ago in Indy when the Pats mysteriously went for it on 4th down, giving Peyton ample time to get the W.:rolleyes1 I've never been to a playoff game, but if that one definitely had quite an electric atmosphere about it.

I've said the same things to several people over the past week. Everybody seems to be jumping off the bandwagon like it is made of molten lava.:lmao: All I've been hearing at work is how Peyton is never going to play again, but the Colts won't let anybody know that until this time next year or else they won't sell any season tickets.:confused3 Ok, thank you conspiracy theorists.

Ever since this Peyton Manning drama started, it has become clear to me that there are a lot of "Colts fans" that aren't.:sad2:

They are a decent team without him. They have good skill position players, but the OL isn't what it needs to be to get by without a great QB and the defense is suspect, as always. If the D can gel and put a good season together and Kerry can work a 3 step drop and get quick throws away to Dallas, Reggie and the rest of the group, they'll be good. I think Addai is very key in this situation though. he's an excellent pass blocker, and they're going to need him, desperately, to stay healthy and effective.

I'm VERY surprised they didn't have the courage to go with one of the backups and instead got Collins a week before the season started. That's what I'd be most concerned about. Sounds like pretty bad planning there.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my wife, it was a planned operation 2 months out (she wanted to wait till we got back from WDW, but it was also the 1st avalible non emergency time she could get:confused3) My wife is a diehard park fan also, so I had to know if she would be ready to go on the rides on our pre-Halloween trip since she is really looking forward to it:banana:

Man, I miss good Saturday Morning Cartoons! :sad1:

Looney Tunes were the best. I wanted to buy the box set on DVD to show my girls what real cartoons were, but like most all other plans, it never happened. I did get the schoolhouse rock DVD to show them.

Good morning all.

Morning Guys
